Love the video! If you do a small jump towards where you’re going before the Spin starts cooling down, mario will keep momentum and you can spin again when he lands. Getting the timing down on this makes you move much faster. Sucks that TTYD removed the spin lol.

ALSO if you ever get the chance please consider doing ocarina of time and majoras mask randomizers. They are unbelieavbly easy to set up
Now we just need a loading zone randomizer and it’ll be… actually, nevermind. You would easily get softlocked, and even if you coded around it, Paper Mario’s checkpoint system would basically let you explore any chapter to it’s fullest as soon as you stepped foot in a later one.
A lot of times the triggers for those checkpoints are the cutscenes at the beginning and end of levels, with those removed like in this it should be fine
Something curious, only Tubba's Heart and Huff N. Puff have special dialogue for certain party members. Tubba's Heart tells Bow during the battle that see her makes him hungry, and Huff N. Puff before the battle starts if Lakilester is the current party member he says how he dares to betray him, remember Lakilester worked for Huff N. Puff before joining Mario.

There’s a mod for the Gamecube game, TTYD, called Shufflizer, which includes a loading zone randomizer (like when you mentioned going from a loading zone in toad town to somewhere in chapter 7) and I really do hope they backport it to 64. Would love to see u try the TTYD shufflizer at some point!
Its actually super simple. Just look up Paper Mario Randomizer and it should be the first link. As long as you have a ROM available, you can just slot it in and have it update for you

So from my understanding, once you hit a certain point in the story sir Kent will spawn. Since the randomizer has to already check a ton of the story off so I can access everything from the beginning, whatever needed to be checked for Kent must've been already checked. Tldr: randomizer go brr and always make him spawn

you dont actually need parakary for volcano. you got lakelester early, he can cross any lava and skip half the obstacles in volcano.

There is a loading zone randomizer for TTYD where every area in the game is mixed up. I think it's called the Extreme Randomizer.
Just checked and there was also an extreme randomizer made for PM64. Both mods are shown off on Fatguy703’s channel.

Technically you didnt need Parakarry to pass the lava in Chapter 5. Lakilester can carry you over albeit slowly.
