The cherokee l does not look like a jeep design to me. To be honest i think the newest version was originally slated to be the durango or a power wagon. Everything about it has a retro dodge feel to it.

why do you compare a laredo to a summit? My overland summit from 2013 has the same functions as the summit from 2021 (for example chrome, door opener).
Excelente video, muy bien explicado las diferencias entre ambos modelos. Grand Cherokee se ve muy atrasado en comparación al Grand Cherokee L, parecen de generaciones muy distintas.
I don’t understand why you compared a older Laredo to a new summit. A 2021 GC 2 row summit would look better side by side, or use a GCL Laredo to the older model Laredo.
It is astonishing the quantum leap that Jeep has taken with GC. While the WK2 did indeed immediately invalidate the WK, this model made huge strides in quality, features, and overall cohesiveness within the package. One thing that seems to be forgotten is that the GC is now atop the amazing Giorgio platform, introducing driving/handling capabilities likely not seen on a Jeep(this side of Trackhawk). It is also the first GC that lost weight compared to the previous generation, despite being FIFTEEN inches longer than the WK2. Jeep should be applauded here. These will sell like crazy, if the 10 year run of the WK2 serves as any indication.
We had 9 on our lot everyone has sold within days of hitting the lot !!! They are definitely a huge step forward in quality and fit and finish.... The biggest problem with the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is ... Still the same not very reliable 3.6L engine! Everything looks amazing but that engine is mmmm a GM engine. And I owned a 2011, 2015 Jeep and a 2018 Durango. The engine had always little problems, and then one day one big problem, usually with the cooling system oil/coolant. I'll still buy it, because I like the looks and in the end that's all that matters ;)
Pretty unfair comparison. You compared the lowest trim 2021 with the literally highest trim on the 2022. You also compared the 2021 to the long wheelbase 2022. I had a 2018 summit reserve - the leather wrapped lower interior bits vs the standard plastic really uplift the interior. You forgot the most important update. They finally added keyless lock and unlock to the rear doors. Even the 2018 Summit reserve only had this feature on the fronts.
