    Just bought my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Reserve HEMI in black!!! Orders my K&N Air Intake for it, Thule Motion XXL Roof Box, and appointment made for Ceramic Pro for whole body done when we take delivery in December while in transit! I haven't owned a Grand Cherokee since 1994 and that was the black Limited with the gold trim! I love the 6 seats due to having kids! We got rid of the Mercedes GLS 450 since the lease ended....for this new model Grand Cherokee it kicks the ass of our standard GLS 450 in all the features and tech for $10k less.

    Both the interior and the exterior of the Grand Cherokee-L are great! This vehicle is a home run. The only two things I’d nitpick are the badging and the rear wiper. Removing the badges would be a much cleaner look and the rear would look nicer if there wiper was hidden.
    I own a Jeep and it’s unfortunate that Jeep hasn’t improved its pickup when you smash that gas pedal.

    JB I don't understand why the limited trucks don't have rear handles that's unlock and auto windows keyless all around should be added auto windows I also wish if you did not have child lock or you could choose in setting that if back doors get opened they unlock because if your in back seat you have to wait for the front seat to get out also 25 cents closer to saving for wagoneer because why not wait I feel idk how much that would translate to but more then 25 cents for me Canada lol

    I'm so happy to see that Jeep took the success of the WK2 Summit Signature model and turned the wick wayyy up even more on the luxury and quality. My feeling is that the 3.6 and 5.7 both may be placeholder engines for the GC. The 4Xe is already confirmed, and the Hurrican 3.0 straight 6 is said to debut on the SWB GC. Overall, Jeep really created an even bigger class all its own. They do not label it as a luxury vehicle, but its intentions are immediately clear. The closest "mainstream" vehicle to this is a Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy trim. But parts-quality, design, and small details are greater on the Jeep. $67k is a lot of coin, but this is a LOT of vehicle, considering the class-exclusive air suspension and stout(REAL) 4WD system(ELSD and a real transfer case w/ Lo-Range!). I think it is a hit!

    Hello JB Reviews. Once again. Good review for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. This top dog trim level Summit Reserve in terms of luxury looks along with feel will give the interiors from the Cadillac XT6, Lincoln Aviator, Acura MDX, Mercedes GLE, BMW X5 and Infiniti QX60 a run for their money. The legendary 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine is optional for this Summit Reserve trim level along with the Summit and Overland, but for the Summit Reserve Jeep should've made it the standard engine. I definitely agree with you on that. With six trim levels available Jeep has everyone covered. One thing Jeep has over the competitors is overall flexibility. Flexibility from all aspects. I'm not sure you were aware of this feature on the Jeep Grand Cherokee L, but the top three trim levels Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve have a hands free foot activated lift gate. Based on a demonstration from another You Tube channel reviewer video I saw earlier this month as long as the key fob is with you just move your foot in a kicking motion under the middle part of the bumper and that's it. The lift gate will open. Maybe you or your wife can demonstrate that in your next review video for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L.

    Nice video. I agree, if I get this I would probably go V-8. I just wonder if the grand cherokee l sales will be affected because its in the middle (between grand cherokee and grand wagoneer). Think family of 4 might go smaller and larger families might go grand wagoner.
    Face alot of competition both inside brand as well as outside.
    Regarding the rear seats. I thought it was a button you can press next to the second row to let the backseat up and down. Just think most people want easy of use and having to go to the back to let seats up and down might be a deal breaker

      I believe the JGC L may very well be the best selling Jeep. The Wagoneer will be 10" longer and 5" wider. Yes, there is a latch on the upper of the seat that allows it to slide for 3rd row occupation. Jeep will own the midsize market with the two different versions.

    • @hellkitty1014
      @hellkitty1014 3 года назад +1

      @@Icetillidie worth is in the eye of the buyer. Also, the Overland compared to this would be about $63k, and at that point, you're splitting hairs. Take for instance today's pickup truck. An F150 Lariat has 95% of the Limiteds offerings, but is some $15-20k cheaper. Jeep is no exception. They know there is a large market of people out there that like "maxed out" mainstream, i.e. Suburban High Country/GMC Yukon Denali
      / and Expedition Platinum vs the Caddy and Lincoln buyers. Jeep kinda figured out that there are two types of high end buyers during the run of the WK2. The Overland Summit was the top dog until Jeep made the Summit a sub-brand in 2014. They haven't looked back since.

The screen is not very responsive, very slow. The AC output is weak and fan is loud even on seting 1. Backseat never cools down. Now sure what paint they used but it's AWFUL. 21 inch wheels and running boards are not compatible with off-Roading. 30K more for 5-10k in upgrades. Same under-whelming engine, not even 300 Hp of torque, for a upper level model trim, doesn't make sense. At least the Germans give a superior engine option when they bump the price up this much over the base. Garbage. Are they still using the cheap water pumps from the Chrysler 200 on the Jeeps. I Just checked an Overland trim model out and was disappointed.

    • @jefferybaxter1225
      @jefferybaxter1225 3 года назад +1

      The running boards are optional. They don't automatically come with this trim level. None of the other trim levels come with that either. If the buyer wants the running boards the Jeep dealership will install it. As for the 21 inch rims there's no surprise it's on there. This isn't the first time 21 inch rims are on the Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. In general regardless of automaker, high trim level SUVs come with 20 or 21 inch rims. The BMW SUVs, Mercedes SUVs and other automakers with SUVs are doing this. Larger rims adds a bit of luxury appearance to the vehicle. As for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L the rim sizes available throughout the six trim levels are 18 inch, 20 inch and 21 inch rims. The Summit Reserve trim level has the adjustable air ride suspension system, so it'll do good off roading. I currently have the third generation Jeep Grand Cherokee and I only changed the water pump once which isn't bad. The vehicle has slightly over 170,000 miles on it. In general throughout the life of any vehicle if the water pump gets changed either once or twice that's not a bad thing. Components wear out over time. A component like that and couple others are not built to last forever. I have intentions on getting the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. I will get it in the Overland trim nicely equipped with the legendary 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. The towing capacity with that engine is 7,200 pounds which is more than most of rival competitor vehicles. At the moment to start things off there there's the V6 with 293 HP. It's not 300, but it's close. There's also the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine with 357 HP along with 390 pound feet of torque. Later on this year there will be a hybrid powertrain. Sometime next year couple more powertrains will be available.
