Omg, I fell in love with a photo I had come across years ago of the first quilt you showed today. It reminded me of roaming the farm meadows when visiting grandparents who were farmers in rural Connecticut along with a cousin who lived nearby. Great fun days and memories as I was a farm girl at heart. Delighted to now know that I fell in love with a quilt by you even before 'meeting' you on RUclips. Btw, love all of your videos and have 3 patterns between you and Chelsi lined up for 2025!!! And wow, when I came to the Scrappy Trip Around the World quilt my heart just cried out, "Make me, make me". I most often make quilts for others and or donation quilts. I have longed to make this quilt for a long time but upon seeing it done in these fabrics, I know I will relentlessly remember it until I make one for myself. Today I will be adding the borders for our oldest son's quilt. He started as a volunteer, then inched up becoming and EMT and just became a paramedic and also was promoted to Captain at the fire department. I was able to gather up a lot of firefighters, first responders, EMT and paramedic fabrics. I even found the perfect pattern for this challenging collection of fabrics by various designers. Looking forward to finishing and gifting it to him.
Love your fabric choices! The white adds to the fresh, crisp feel of the Trip Around the World quilts. Thank you for sharing your trunk show with us. 🌸💕🌸
Thank you SO much for this video! I find that I have so many jelly rolls, but when I get them home I don’t know what to do with them. You and Chelsea have been such an inspiration and education for me. Thank you!!!!!
Thank you for the trunk show Sherri. Your quilts are gorgeous! I can't wait until part 2. I never even liked a Scrappy Trip quilt until I saw yours! Yours are so bright and colorful! I may have to make one now. :)
Love your quilts! You are very talented... to say the least. I appreciate that you put so many links at the bottom of this tutorial post. It saves me so much time AND then I don't miss any of your ideas/designs either. Thanks so much. Blessings to you and your team.
Thank You for sharing these lovely quilts. I need one for Fall for my husband so will be looking in to some of these books. Will be looking forward to part 2. I'm now to the point I'm buying more of layer cakes, charm packs, jelly rolls, so I have little waste on material. Gave away paper boxes full of materials so it is like starting over again. I do get the Moda 9900 series for accents things in yards to have on hand, but not much else other then some fat quarters too. Looking forward to the next podcast and part 2. Stay Safe till the next time.
Absolutely wonderful video Sherri! Can't wait to make some of these quilts with my collection of jelly rolls! Your quilts are stunning! Always learn so much from you, thank you so much!
Very good information, that Bonnie Hunter quilt has been on my list for some time. Love your Christmas version. Thanks so much for all you do for the Quilting community.
I'd love to do a jelly roll quilt using an actual jelly roll, but I've never come across a jelly roll that I like all of the fabric in a collection. In fact, most jelly rolls I don't even like most of the collection. So I've never bought a jelly roll though I've done some of the patterns in pattern books that call for the rolls. I just substitute fabric that I've cut instead. My strips are usually only 2 inches wide as I also tend to like a smaller finished block. Setting on point is probably my favorite way of putting blocks together. To me, it seems to give move of a feeling of movement and eye interest to a quilt. I really like your patchwork garden quilt, it really added interest with the corner stones being pieced.
Hi, I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but we were not able to see the last two quilts, They were lying down too flat to see them well in the camera. I love your quilts and I have purchased some of your patterns, thank you for sharing your work.
I found I've collected a few (well OK many) jelly rolls. You've given me ideas of what to sew them into. Thankyou (p.s. I'm purchasing your books through Amazon).
Hi Sherry. I love your fabric and your tutorials, as well as your podcast with your daughter. Is there any way you could hold up and open the quilt so we can see the full beauty of the quilt?
As others have said, would like to see the whole quilt and also have you outline the actual quilt block for us. It would be much easier to get a feel for whole design. I was lost and not able to find a single block in any of the quilts, and I've used jelly rolls before so know how they work.
Beautiful quilts. I so want to make the last one with Christmas fabric. I purchased some of the Sweet Christmas collection to make a tree skirt. The fabric I purchased for the back I just can't put it on the back and then lay it on the floor, it's just too pretty not to be able to see it. I think the last quilt will be perfect. I hope you show your finished Snowflake quilt.
I agree seeing the entire quilt and stating finished size would be great. The first two were in books but what is pattern name for others??? In books or your pattern?? Source?? They are all beautiful. Thank you!
I love this! The only thing is it is hard to figure out how many really rolls you need to make. I went to the free PDF and it doesn’t say. I know I am pretty new to this so I am sure the math is there. Can you tell me if one jelly roll will make a lap quilt? I don’t have any jelly rolls in pairs. I have jelly rolls and yardage to match but no duplicates
Loved all these quilts Sherri. One question....do you use a sizing spray on your fabrics before cutting? I'm thinking I'll start doing that as the pieces look so crisp and easy to handle.
Love all of the quilts! I have both of those books, but have not tried the jelly roll patterns. Now I'm going to go back and take a look at those! You mentioned a .pdf for the scrappy trip quilt. I did not see that posted. Is it on your blog? Thanks
Thank you, Sherri!!! I have two or three of your books and quite a few of your patterns, I want to make all of them!!! lol Another great video and I can't wait to see the Part 2 Jelly Roll Quilts. Your Christmas scrappy trip around the world is adorable. Do you need to do anything different when you are working with flannel?
Have your quilts been washed? They don’t look all shrunk up. What batting did you use? I don’t like my quilts as much after they have been washed because they look shrunk and crinkly.
Your quilt are beautiful. However, I always need a queen sized quilt…at least 95” wide and 105” long. All my grown children AND grandchildren have queen …or king…sizes! 55” or 60” way too narrow.
I am wondering what people do with all these small quilts. Doesn’t anyone make them for beds anymore? I have a ton of small ones from my mom and don’t know what they are for
Couldn't see any of the quilts! You never hold them up so we can see them!!! I don't know if you're nervous or what but please just start holding up the quilts or whatever you're talking about. Thanks!! Your videos are pretty good but they could be amazing with some tweaks. Thanks for listening!!! Keep making good videos!!
I agree it would be great if we could only see what it was you were talking about. Couldn’t see a thing and for as many times you repeated your self over and over about each quilt you were still lost for words and had no excitement about any of the quilts. It showed you were not interested in making this video at all.

All of your quilts are beautiful! I agree, I would love to see the whole quilt. Especially that Trip Around the World Christmas one!
I wish you would show the whole quilt! So many pretty quilts, I’d love to see the whole quilt!
We’d love to see these quilts! Please hold them up next time!

Gorgeous quilts! Thank you for sharing.
I’d love to see the quilts around the world to see the whole quilt. I’ve been wanting to make one and your’s look beautiful!
Love these! Inspirational!
I would love to see the whole dreamin’ quilt made from the farmhouse jelly roll collection.

Thsnks for sharing. I have lots of Jelly rolls
Thank you for sharing and for the handy PDF

Beautiful pyachwork design
Hi Sherry. I love your fabric and your tutorials, as well as your podcast with your daughter. Is there any way you could hold up and open the quilt so we can see the full beauty of the quilt?
My biggest problem with jelly rolls is that i forget to buy coordinating yardage for the borders n binding. These are beautiful fabrics and quilts.
Love love love!
Lindíssimas! Difícil escolher, qual a mais bela?
Parabéns!

I hope you show your finished Snowflake quilt.
When you use flannel for backing do you wash and dry the fabric first so it doesn’t shrink?
How much fabric do we need for the backing??
I wash AND dry flannel 2x B4 using. Experiment with a yard and see how much shrinkage you get each time.
I agree seeing the entire quilt and stating finished size would be great. The first two were in books but what is pattern name for others??? In books or your pattern?? Source??
They are all beautiful. Thank you!
She put a link to all the patterns below the RUclips video. Hope this is helpful. :)

I would love info on that red houndstooth flannel fabric! So perfect for a backing. Where can I find this?
Love all of the quilts! I have both of those books, but have not tried the jelly roll patterns. Now I'm going to go back and take a look at those! You mentioned a .pdf for the scrappy trip quilt. I did not see that posted. Is it on your blog? Thanks
Wish we could have seen more of the Christmas version of Trip around the world, not just flannel side.
Do u have a post showing your entire trip around the world quilts? It wasn’t in the web page. Ty
Where can I get the Driftwood Drive pattern?
It would be nice to actually see the quilts!
I’d like to know how to make yourScrappy Quilt Around The World.
Love these, thank you 😊 How do I get your pdf for the Bonnie Hunter trip around the world?
Do you have a tutorial for your wide binding?
What are you using for your light off-white?
Can you send me. The pdf for Bonnie Hunters Trip around the world quilt?
I’m not sure if I understand how to get the white pattern on the quilt. Would I have one strip be all white for each block?
For a beginner to make a jelly roll throw how much backing is needed??
What is the name of the first one?
Have your quilts been washed? They don’t look all shrunk up. What batting did you use? I don’t like my quilts as much after they have been washed because they look shrunk and crinkly.
Do you sell those quilts?
Your quilt are beautiful. However, I always need a queen sized quilt…at least 95” wide and 105” long. All my grown children AND grandchildren have queen …or king…sizes! 55” or 60” way too narrow.
Where is your link for Scrappy Trip Around The World quilt?
❤️❤️❤️
Could not see the patterns in the quilts. The camera angle was wrong since you did not hold them up for a full view.
Couldn’t really see the quilts
I am wondering what people do with all these small quilts. Doesn’t anyone make them for beds anymore? I have a ton of small ones from my mom and don’t know what they are for
I tried to get the PDF, but it didn’t take me to a ODF...😔
A little more information about the quilt being shown would be nice too, besides being able to see the whole quilt

I think it is a pitty that the used fabrics are very much the same in every quilt.......maybe you could start with leaving out the white......🌷🙋🏼♀️
