While vacationing, a girl and her parents are taken hostage by armed strangers who demand that the family make a choice to avert the apocalypse.
I like to think that every Family in the world heard that 'knock on the door'.
It's not just this one set of people, all of humanity is being tested all at once.
What we see is a microcosm of all of us, focused down to the story of this one family.
I liked the movie. My take away was there were no bad people and hard decision were made
People blame the apocalypse when in fact it's just Boeing being Boeing.
This is one of those movies to just need to watch.
I really liked this movie, thought the ending was great. You dudnt know till the end if ut was real or not for the characters

That it was really happening. Its a good and quite quick movie.

That they both wanted to put on their boogie shoes, and dance with you !

Four strangers tell a family consisting of a gay couple and their daughter that God has judged Humanity and will unleash an apocalypse that will kill all of humanity except their family. However, the apocalypse can be averted if the family decides to kill one of it's own members.
Understandably, the family is skeptical. The truth revealed by this scene is that the apocalypse has been averted by their sacrifice.
I'm an atheist, but I was under the impression that the story of the binding of Isaac established that the Judeo-Christian God doesn't want human sacrifice.
