Batista is so much better than The Rock. Batista actually plays a character in his roles. He nailed the character of Leonard. If The Rock was in this, we just would’ve seen The Rock At The Cabin.
The Rock wouldn't even play a role like this. He's interested in big box office roles.
@@TheRexrapper Which is funny since Batista was in two of the biggest Blockbusters of all time.
Damn
Batista is perfect is perfect to play kratos
@@Smith-rb1qfYeah but the rock only plays action movies where the acting is secondary to the action sequences. Bautista is genuinely a great actor. Blade Runner 2049, this, he actually has range. Rick plays the same role over and over.
I will say, this movie did a good job of not letting me feel like I knew which scenario was going to be true. Couldn't decide which side to believe.
And that's the CHOICE the audience has to make.
I don’t know, with the way that Shyamalan writes characters I felt like there was never any reason for the characters to be lying. It’s just a story that’s poised to be correct and never really presented an alternative
I didn't believe it until the very end when they started believing it.
lmao
Dave Bautista needs to play Marcus Fenix he can play the role and he’s earned it
Bautista needs to plays kratos
@@tonyleidyiii1652 too old now
@@From_Coach You didn't play god of war 4 and 5?
@@sggsdsgdgsd6897 Bautista would be great is Kratos
Why won't they let this man play bane 🤦🏾♀️
OMFG you are so right! He is perfect
Don’t think he’s tryna constantly stay super jacked anymore
James Gunn has plans for him in DC, be patient
I love that idea
@@Masshysteria40 ugh they need to hurry up and give this man a shot already 😫
One of my fave characters all time in any film any genre
I must say that I'm so impressed by this character. From the beginning of the film to his last moment, he kept the positive attitude and talked so calmly, which makes me feel comfortable and believe what he said is trustworthy. All he did was just persuade the couple to make the right decision with his warm voice. He didn't beg or force them to do anything cuz he knew this choice wasn't easy for them or anyone else. The vision showed that none of the four horseman would be alive in the end, their deaths are inevitable but he still chose to come to the cabin and sacrifice his life. He knew it was his responsibility and even before he died, he still had hope in the couple that they would do the right thing, believed in the future of the world. This man is so kind and he was just a ordinary person, a primary teacher, no more special than anyone else in this world. It's painful to see such a good man have to die that way :(
And I'm still angry about Andrew kept denying everything >:( They could have saved more people if the decision was made sooner.
But then we wouldn't have this incredible but heartbreaking movie if the decision was made sooner. Such a great character Leonard was and Batista played him perfectly!!!
Brilliant movie even in such a short time, should have gotten more recognition.
Once I figured out the four horseman of the apocalypse analogy I knew they weren’t crazy which I figured out pretty early on still such a good movie
Bautista and Rupert Grint were the only good things about this movie tbh
Between Bautista and Cena, Johnson looks even worse for never getting better at acting as a wrestler who entered movies over 2 decades ago.
I think Johnson keeps getting work cus of his likable persona
He’s improved.
The rock on the other hand… yikes
Such a scary way for a person
To cut his own throat 😣😖
All of humanity has been judged.
It was a good movie but the ending did not catch me by surprise. I already knew they were either crazy or telling the truth so i felt like i was just waiting for either of the 2 endings.
True but u still didn’t know which way thou lol so it still had some suspense so to say
what about intruders being revealed as homophobes
So you didn’t know how the film would end because you were guessing 😂😂 what a stupid comment
GODDAMN, HE’S GOOD!!!
He’s perfect to play kratos
Dave Bautista Has to be Kratos
Nah Triple H has to be Kratos
the guy who voices Kratos has to be Kratos. he's got the right body and he already has the exact voice, just paint him white and you're good to go
Dave Bautista looks just like kratos that’s why he needs to be kratos
Gah that was a really dark scene….
Especially for a M night Shyamalan movie
M Night’s films are filled with dark scenes
It does have that "The Happening" ambient sound & camera death angles from the woman in the beginning who grabs her hair pen & sticks it on herself in the neck to the traffic police guy killing himself with his own gun due to the airborne toxin 😮😨
Great performance, mediocre ending. I kept waiting for the M. Night twist and all that came is the "four horsemen" reveal which was already obvious after the first death. I kind of wish they ended it with all 3 driving away and then realizing too late that it was real. I love a no win ending lol
I think the problem is more with you than with the film.
@@joaolucasgomes3033 Yes. Having a different opinion is a "problem" for people like you.
this movie good make more in the end!
My new favorite movie
Every time I watch this scene gives me the creeps
Bautista killed tgis roll so damn much I applaud his acting skills an portrayal of Leonard.
The ending of this movie gave me mixed feelings, but the more I process it I guess it's a good movie because it made me think and have to choose between whether to believe they were being serious or faking it. I got the 4 horsemen thing early but I figured that was M night trying to trick the audience into believing they're serious so it's more tragic if one of them had to kill the other, and if it did happen, I figured it was going to be the taller dad character shooting himself I didn't expect him to actually shoot the husband, the girl actress is very talented and did great, and the couple were also both great actors who made me invested and care about them. That's kind of why the ending made me feel mixed because I liked the horseman characters(regardless if they were right or not) because maybe they were just crazy and tricked into thinking it, so in the end I felt kind of a bland feeling for a bit because of the fact none of them had to die and they all died and the world was smashed apart by all the plagues, all for him to do it anyway in the end. Just left a sour taste in my mouth, but honestly there's not a lot of movies like this recently and it really got me thinking during the movie of what will happen next. All around.. 7/10
I loved Bautista as Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but this role really showed off his range as an actor.
What didn't make sense to me is if the intruders killing each other one by one is what would spark an event then why not just.....you know...not kill one another?
My personal head canon is that those events were going to happen anyway, and the 4 horsemen dying was just a way to signal the urgency to the family
Because... they were hoping the pair would believe them and obey and make the choice so that they wouldn't have to experience a gruesome death. That's literally what they said at the beginning of the movie. The plagues, after each death, served as a countdown and signal to the lovers that what was happening was real.
Obviously, God is in control of the situation and carried out the task they were instructed in giving.
He’s such an underrated actor. He built up so much tension in this movie.
Qué mal rollo da su interpretación. Gran trabajo
ouch.
C the angle come down at 1:47 right hand of the screen bottom right!!!
There is nothing more gratifying to my soul than being the reason for a child's smile.
To be the spark that ignites all their hopes and dreams. We owe everything to these children.
This company and its toys are nothing without them. That is why it is with enormous pleasure that as the founder of Playtime Co. I anounce... Playcare!
Our very own on-site orphanage. A child should never be left unloved. Never without a hand to hold when they see a monster in their closet.
May Playcare bring joy, inspiration and smiles to every child who enters these doors.

You just go around copy/pasting this bullshit in every video about this movie? You think it makes you look intelligent? We all have access to Google, kid.
I'm thinking the Apocalypse is gonna bee way more terrifying.
Oh ok looked it up, in the book wen dies from an accidental gunshot, Leonard realizes it didn't count because they didn't officially choose her to die so Leonard takes his own life and somehow that fixes everything. I think i like the movie version better
Was there a plain falling from the sky
Plane
This guy looks like a ad for the world strongest Peto
Okay, dumb question. Is that Batista the wrestler?
yes
@@nothingbutnet35 Awesome!
there's this thing called Google. It's for people who know they have a dumb question, but not for people who just want to post it anyway.
No it’s Patrick.
I thought it was Danny Devito 🤷♂️
so drex any last words
If im not mistaken i heard that the daughter is the one that dies after accidentally one of the fathers wrestles with one of the horsemen and the gun goes off killing her, i think it Leonard which takes his own life out of despair and regret.
This is just Raiden from MK11 talking about sacrifice on chapter 1 of Cassie Cage
Drax what did u do?
Bro this is the rapture from the Bible it’s scary but that’s how is gonna be planes falling from the sky scary asf no cap
Well I haven’t seen it but thanks RUclips guess I won’t
Why not?
You got lucky then, seeing this in the cinema was a big regret, awful film.
i dont ever wanna hurt god like this ...
You have to wonder about Hollywood promoting sacrifice. I believe the apocalypse can be removed if the balance is put back, but that means people you love have to return what they've stolen from other souls.😢
“And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.” Revelation, Chapter 6, Verse 8
So why did they all have to die? I hate that this movie is about to make me go read the book, i have stuff to do
Funny thing is this is one day going to be real but much worse..,
Funny thing is,that one day this is going to be real but much worse..,

This movie was hot garbage
This is a greatly written movie.
Ummm, Sabrina kills him a bit after Wen was shot dead. Way to ruin it.
That was in the book.
The author reported that Wen's death was a complete deal breaker with studios, it had to be changed before anyone would adapt it.
@@JamesTobiasStewart yup, the movie was doomed from the start.
@@alexfroelich3404So you prefer the book ending?
I saw this in the theatre & frankly I thought it was a pos. Waste of talent & waste of money.
Oh come on, it was actually good, you must be a fan of After Earth if you think this was a POS.
@@DM-uz7lf nah it was corny and bad acting and nothing cool
@@Bizzy3663 You write like a 16 year old.
Yeah no comment
Bad acting?! The acting was probably the best thing in this film. All of the characters were believable imo. I neved felt that 'I'm watching actors and not characters' feeling.
Ill probably get blasted for this but this movie was terrible. Great story, poor acting and execution all the way around.
The book was much better, more suspenseful. Dave B. Is an incredible actor with really helping the Leonard character stay true to the book.
Movie sucks
