When you are talking about all the great Cowboys players Darren Woodson is one of the best to wear the star. Can't say one negative thing on or off the field.
@@stylicho the Woodson hit was October 27, 2002. The same game he broke Walter Peyton’s rushing record and the same game Woodson became the franchise leader in tackles.
Met him once when they still held training camp in Austin..He signed a collegiate football card I had bought of him at Arizona st....This guy played hard and gave everything he had every Sunday..
Aikmen, Emmitt, Irvin, Hailey, Prime Time, and even The Great Wall Of Dallas, are the names you think of 1st when talking about the 3 time SB winning teams (and should have been more if Jimmy Johnson stayed) of the 90’s. But Darren Woodson was the most underrated player on those teams. Dude was just a smart, hard nosed, great safety.
My Favorite Dallas Cowboy of all time. I have his official #28 Jersey. This guy was "The Total Package" = ball skills, tremendous hitter, great tackler, football IQ. Most Underrated player from those Championship teams. oNe LovE from NYC
@@DC4L99 For curiosity, are you working in the highlights video of Erik Williams prior to his 1994-95 midseason car crash? Also, could you please make in the future more highlight videos of Troy Aikman, Daryl “Moose” Johnston, Larry Allen, Alvin Harper & Jay Novacek?
This man being left out of the HOF when he was worthy of being first ballot calls into question the legitimacy of the process in which players are selected. This dude was elite from start to finish. Pro Bowler, All Pro, 3x champion, captain of multiple #1 defences and Dallas Cowboys all time leading tackler. What more can you ask for from a defender...
College LB turned NFL safety and defensive captain, managed to be one of the hardest hitting safeties and also be speedy enough to play slot/nickel corner.
One of the best safties of his era. On a side note. I wonder what the outcome would have been if Woodson and Marshan Lynch collided on the field. Woodson packed a wallop.
Most underrated guys on the Cowboys may have been Jay Novacek but the movie Troublesome ever had safety that we ever had is Darren Woodson hopefully now Donovan Wilson will help us remember just how great safeties supposed to be
I remember he got the tackling record but of course it was the same game Emmitt broke the rushing record so it was overshadowed but woody was a great player on defense...I loved watching him play
@@bigred9991 It was listed on a football card I once had of his, a local news paper reported a similar time when discussing his skill set, and I had seen a video of him stating his own speed when talking about Micheal Irvin's early days in Dallas since Micheal wasn't as fast and practiced against him.
Remember watching those chiropractor commercials growing up and seeing Darren in his jersey selling the business. Asked my dad who he was and if he was any good, and he’d say “that was one bad son of a bitch!”
Oh the Glory days. That dude is one of the most stand-up men you'll ever meet
It's a crime the man isn't in the Hall
Drew FACTS, hopefully he gets in one day.
I agree with you and I'm a eagles fan and that's very hard for me to agree with anything to do with the Dallas cowboys
I love Darren. But there's two bigger travesties in that department. Ed Too Tall Jones and Harvey Martin
He on his way now
At this point it’s rigged SMH

My favorite D. C. of all time! There will only ever be one Darren Woodson. Should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Same here named my son after him
My favorite Dallas cowboys of all time. He definitely deserves a HOF bid.
Mine too. Heart and soul.
The most underrated Cowboy with Jay Novacek of all time
Agreedddd Novacek was a beast of a TE
Don't forget Moose Johnson!!!
I’ve been looking forever for the broadcast video of that LEGAL hit Woodson laid on Jackson vs The Seahawks. Great video.
turnupthesun81 Thanks, that was a great hit. Very underrated player.
I need to find out what year this was. I don't remember the refs ever throwing a flag for a hard hit until James Harrison with the Steelers
@@stylicho the Woodson hit was October 27, 2002. The same game he broke Walter Peyton’s rushing record and the same game Woodson became the franchise leader in tackles.
I’m just gonna flat out say it: DARREN WOODSON DESERVES TO BE IN THE HALL OF FAME!!
#ChangeMyMind
Agreed 💯.
My late grandfather was such a big fan of Woodson. “We haven’t had a good safety since Darren Woodson. He would damn sure lay the wood on someone”
🤣😪
A GOAT WOODY always tried looking for his highlights thanks for this man 🤙
Sir Gio Thanks Gio, Woodson should be in the hall of fame.
@@DC4L99 no doubt DC4L 🤙
Guys like this Jerry doesn't get anymore
Hustle Man FACTS, Cowboys haven’t had a safety as good since.
@@DC4L99 he'll get there. Tbh, Too Tall Jones needs to go in first. Heck he needs to be in the ring of honor too!

Got stuck in the thigh from Woodson. I made a point to tun over Felipe Sparks. KOFA high school Yuma Az

Easily one of my favorite Cowboys ever. Goated ⭐
Yeah he was a great safety.
Put this man in the hall of fame.
Da man,da myth,da legend. Top 5 S in NFL history
Bro. Most kids don't know about this dude. But he might be the hardest hitting safety in nfl history.
Easily!
How the hell is John lynch in the HOF over Darren Woodson....
Really? You have to ask? 🏈 politics.

El mejor vaquero de la historia
Best safety Dallas has ever had and the way that they ignore top safeties in the draft probably will still be the best for a long time time to come
3rd favorite Cowboy of all time behind Micheal Irvin and Larry Allen.
Thanks, DC 4life. Keep with the great work!
JuanAMJ159 Thanks Juan 👍.

One of the best to ever do it
He was one hell of a runner on the ball for a guy who played defense... :-)
Last time we the cowboys had a strong safety has been none ever since he retired
He was a free safety
we had some really good ones.. washington. everett. marion.

@2:33 the announcer said "Methusala can still apply a pop" lmao 😃
HOFer everyday of the week and twice on Sunday
Mark Soliz Yep, Imo he’s the best safety in Cowboys history. And that’s no disrespect to the great Cliff Harris.
Deserves to be in Canton
Was that his touchdown. Crazy
Jimmy is not in the ring. And there will be no championship until he is given that much deserved honor. That is the curse; Jerry’s ego.
Could be.
He will be now
One of the best safties of his era.
