Upgrades to make it more versatile! And some fender modifications for a clean install. Probably could use a spring and strap to secure the hoses (similar to the Mack and its hoses/cables for the trailer connections) on the back.

Mike, head down to the Derby store lot and take one (even both) of those C&C Equipment mud flaps off the lowboy (The other Mike will not mind-Clint might😂😂 ). Use them on the underside of the fender to protect the hydraulic lines and controller from debris coming off the tracker tires. It's amazing how a stick can ruin a $100 hose (that we just don't have $100 to replace them with)!
BTW, can't wait to see your little tracker use Mike's new Tile Plow! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pipe Thread Tape- works well and little risk of contamination. Just put it on so when you screw the fitting on it does screw the tape off.

Hello; I understand that this is all new to you. You should use stainless steel pipe and fittings when ever possible. Galvanized pipe etc. is bad because the galvanizing will flake off got into your system. If you have to use brass. Does that have an hydraulic filter? If not I suggest putting one in the return line. I suggest that you consider some sort of cover for the valve area. The elements will really mess things up over time. Good job.

The next time you need hydraulic fittings and or hoses if you haven’t already tried you might check Surplus Center on line it’s where I been getting fittings and hoses for a long time they are dependable and much cheaper than most places. You mentioned many people say not to use thread sealant but I think what they are referring to is Teflon tape. I always use hydraulic approved sealant and have never had a problem. I have a John Deere 1023E that I added the power beyond too and also added a separate electric power hydraulic pump unit that I use on my top link plus a diverter for other rear accessories and it’s much more powerful than the tractor hydraulics

Hey Mike. Just FYI from this old guy, I use mechanical hydraulic systems vs electric over hydraulic when I can. Way more reliable and easier to troubleshoot. Your welding skills sure are getting better. Just takes practice. I bought a cheap set of transfer punches from HF...game changers in fabrication. I also love using the rotary burr tools for deburring edges in tight corners. Hydraulics ain't rocket surgery once you understand them. You have to be careful with them, but they are pretty straightforward. Nice job on the installation/fabrication. Stay safe and thanks for posting.

The fitting on the top of the lift cylinder is to prevent hydraulic lock from oil that has been collected as a result of the scraper ring still leaving a tiny amount of oil on the top of the piston. This over time can build up and cause hydraulic lock if you don't have any way for that built up oil to go.
If in doubt apply the Pythagorean Theorem " The angle of dangle has to equal the lust of thrust providing the urge is constant.
    I hope this helps.

Mike, that turned out awesome!!! When I had my 955 I had the factory power beyond because I had the backhoe. I often wondered if it would have had enough power to run a 3pt mounted log splitter. Never got around to trying that. I sold that 955 to a retired Lieutenant on EPD. I’ll just tell you that when your on the Lloyd going into Newburgh right off the Lloyd on Bell Rd is a place called Sisco’s American Hose & Hydraulics. Those guys are fantastic. They have helped me out with quite a bit for my old 955 and my skid steer. You ever need anything that’s a good place to stop sometime. Keep up the good work my friend.

Very nice job indeed Capt, very professional and clean look not toention the protection provided from branches and vines in the woods. The video was certainly worth the wait. Big fan of the k.i.s.s fashion in which you did it. Only makes sense to stay mechanical on such a machine not to mention the added ruggedness, reliability and simplicity of such a system when it comes to standing the test of time. Just gotta be sure to shut machine off before unhooking power beyond kit. My old man made that mistake once with his JD 1070 and the pump was not happy by anymeans 😬. Cap’n, I’m not a hydraulic expert nor do I play one on RUclips… but looking at your plumbing from my arm chair here in the Ozarks… it looks perfect!
Under mounting the valve was the right way to go. The hose connections where you can easily access them is smart. (Something Kubota could learn from. My third function hoses require hands about the size of a mouse to install.) Your body work looks great… and leaks? Well sir, that is part of the rust retardant plan.
A forklift mechanic that I worked with gave me advice on thread seal for NPT fittings. He said, put a small bead around the male end. Start it about two threads above the end. Once tight, wipe the excess off so it won’t accidentally contaminate the liquid if you ever have to take it loose. So far, it has worked for me on oil, water, air and gas lines!
Cap’n you’ve opened up a ton of options for the 755… I can hardly wait to see what you fab up next!!!

At 8.26, " I wish I had a good way to hold that back together" Try poking it all back through in the right order as you did, then using a reasonably large Cable Tie/ Ty-Wrap/ Buckle Tie, or whatever you call them over there and put it around the thread tight to the washer and pull up TIGHT. Leave the 'tail' long, less scratched arms that way, and the buckle/ratchet chamber/ zippy bit should stop the bolt or screw going back through. you can use as many as you can, all at differing angles to make sure, but not often needed if they are at least 1ft /300mm long, as the size of the buckle is usually ok. If you don't have at least one pack of ties of that size, yo have not lived the life of a Field service engineer, I've used so many as temporary help, and occasionally one or two as permanent solutions (daisy-chained to hold cold/warm hoses out of the way of moving belts etc), over the years, and they are thermo-plastic so can be easily recycled.
And those self-locking nuts with a ring of plastic in them 'Nyloks', If you have to re-use them, and they have been re-used before, the stores are closed, it's raining and 10pm and the job can't wait, put them on an anvil of some sort (a flat rock will do) and TAP the top down on one side to squash the plastic so the screw thread has to cut again. Don't squash all around, the screw will push all the plastic out and waste your time! You can only do this once up to about 5/8 or 16mm nuts, but they hold ok for years when you do.

Hi Mike! You know I have been waiting for weeks for this video since you hinted with that valve at the Derby that day! Lol! You did a fantastic add on and you are going to wonder how you got along without it for so long. I use my setup almost daily for some kind of implement. I put a cylinder on my top link and the left 3 point link and the things you can do with a box blade are amazing. Only suggestion is put all female couplers on that valve. Maybe it's what works in your area but around my parts there is alot of agriculture and every implement is set up with two male ends. I can hook to anything i beg borrow or steal Lol!
