    I'm using your vids as research for a much simpler 1/550 Hobby Boss kit. Very thankful for them.

    I have immensely enjoyed watching and learning how to build the Titanic from you, Ben. My biggest takeaway is that I have no chance to finish mine. 😄 You've made a museum piece that I hope survives for 100s of years.

    love the detail you got going on, but I do have to point out the orange on the cargo hatches we’re in fact black, not orange, as seen in recent evidence.
    Apart from that, great model

    • @TheMidwestModelShop
      @TheMidwestModelShop  Год назад

      That recent evidence has a lot of holes in it. My client wants it painted like the Ken Marshall paintings so that’s why it’s that way.

    Hi Ben, I really need you to continue with your other build!! I am a novice and pretty much at the stage you left on with B deck, so any tips I can pick up as you go up from there will be invaluable, especially on lighting. The stuff you have done to date has been invaluable.

    This has been amazing. I watched the Missouri build and thought it was excellent but, I think this one goes beyond that, maybe because you have been working on two? Not sure. But, the detail and reconstruction to put this together has been amazing. Press on.

    Hopefully we get to see how you continue ur personal Titanic build since I'm interested in doing a mix build with A deck promenade superstructure using the brass and keeping B and C superstructure using the trumpeter plastic parts.

    Beautiful! Wonderful detail, including the correct stud link anchor chains, hard to find for smaller scales. If I'm not mistaken, the anchor crane was meant for the center anchor. I'm not sure how it was supposed to work on the real ship and where the chain goes (probably through the oval hole in the bow). I just know that it must have been a lot of work for the sailors. Thank you for walking us through the entire built. This looks amazing! I trust the model will make it safely to your client. I'm sure he/she will be very happy.

    I love watching your builds. I wait patiently for the next video since finding you building the USS Arizona, the USS Missouri, now 2 same, but different Titanic models. I do have a question for you. I just watched a video from another RUclipsr, about 250 new models from various makers including Trumpeter. He showed 3 Fletcher class Destroyers, USS Fletcher, USS The Sullivans and USS Stevens. I then tried to find online sales of Trumpeter models with no luck. Where do you get you Trumpeter models from?

  • @chrisserfass8635
    @chrisserfass8635 Год назад +1

    You should show us how big the Titanic is compared with the USS Missouri that you have built. Because they are both in 1/200 scale.

    • @TheMidwestModelShop
      @TheMidwestModelShop  Год назад

      I don’t have the Missouri anymore. They are the same length, but the Titanic has a lot more mass.

      Wie lackierst du diese Details so perfekt... Ich baue eine hachette und habe acrylwasserfarben und einen Pinsel... Bin neu im modelbau... :(
      Sind das alles original trumpeterteile oder teilweise dazugekaufte?

      Well I’m glad you’ve started building!!! You need to get some model paints and more brushes. You can get water based paint for easy clean up. Try getting Life Color Paint. A lot of these parts are aftermarket and a lot of them are the original kit.
