Lenovo Magic View Dual Screen Smartwatch Prototype Hand On

- Lenovo Magic View www.mobilegeeks... Lenovo showed off a prototype Smartwatch called the Magic view. It comes with what is a essentially a Moto 360 with a smartglass display mounted below. To engage with this second display just raise your wrist to your eye and you're going to be looking at a 15 inch monitor. The street view is interesting because it uses the gyroscope to look around the venues. The Sports feature lets you look through photos by swiping along the top. Nicole shows you what she looks like using it and how you can interact with the Magic View.
There is no word on when or if this device will be coming to market, but I have to commend Lenovo on pushing the boundaries of the human computer interface.
The good thing is that lenevo is really trying to do something different, which is cool.
You probably have to test it in person.
I like the peeking into the little lcd extra display part.

minatoXkuchina I also don't understand what's supposed to be so great with these devices. Right now every smartwatch is just like an extended fitness watch, using not a single new technology. The only new feature are the switchable watchfaces.
SaHaRaSquad they are forcing this "new" market on us cause the sales of smartphones and tablets are dropping. So now they try to sell us old tech. I am a sportsman but never had the urge for a fitness watch. I have my polar watch for about 8 years that does not need to be charged and does what it has to do. but if they do the right marketing the mass of people will just buy anything they are told cause today´s society is controlled by media.

Cool watch with the second screen but if i want to look at private stuff on my phone I just use a screen dimming app that makes the screen even more darker than the stock adjuster on the phone.
A watch that works in perfect tandem with a wearable headset to display images, and video, while also having a phone to text and use apps would be perfect.
We all should thank the camera man !!
Now imagine if you could to that and send images, maps, videos wtc to your glasses? Awesome.

how do i restore this to factory settings.
i have try volume down plus power buttom but the after that root factory settings is done, i still get the blue screen after reboot.
please anyone with help options?

Good prototype hands-on. But isn't it strange or complicated for a person to view images like that? One main screen is enough. There will come a point that the other screen will become useless. I wanted to have a smartwatch that has a one of a kind features like the block modular smartwatch.

Jur O. dude, i'm just pointing out that it has one because it was one of the downfalls of the moto 360. This watch is what? 2-3 years after the moto 360 so the technology should be there to for it not to have a bumper.
Look at the Urbane for example, completely rounded display, even hawaiwei have made one with a completely rounded display. It's like releasing a phone with Symbian OS. It's just old technology.
In reference to your comment about "guys like me destroying the industry". I doubt that they're going to miss me not purchasing it much, and big deal - we want something new from a technology company in actually a small market (android wear).
This watch is not just a watch, it's a piece of technology hence the expectation of something new.

adir mugrabi its a prototype they might be showing that its possible to sync the watch and glasses interface and uses. imagine using a thinner g glasses coz all process are done in the watch. :)
No matter how useful the second display is, it will make anyone look like an idiot in public, specially with that gyroscope 360 spin movement...

Haha what is the point of that second screen lol. All it reminds me of is the old viewmaster toys. if I wanted to look at pictures of places, I could do it with a viewmaster for alot cheaper and in 3D too! Haha silly lenovo.

Meh, doesnt look like Android Wear and I have lost all faith in lenovo since they failed to miserably with the Thinkpad 8... Its gonna take some serious fucking tech to get me to like their brand again. A bulky, proprietary watch that makes me look like more of a fucking nerd, as I put my eye up to the tiny screen while I walk down the street, not gonna do it...
