My wife and I met some friends in NZ just before the lockdown. 10 days of great adventures. Canyoneering, glacier hiking, glowworm caves, nature hiking and fjord kayaking. I have to say after 40 years of tasting wine, NZ has the BEST red wines and best lamb ever. We would love to go back again

I'm a European New Zealander I used to go to a māori school and everyone said Kia ora I used to say kea oura my parents still say it like that and I'm like ITS KIA ORA!!!! 😂

Bungee make you feel so alive after doing it an I'm sad to say I can't do it anymore since I've had to have two lower back surgery's because of a work accident.
We made rides an other fun things to do that brings you back to earth an feel that oneness with our environment is what keeps us grounded.

That was a serious helicoptor she was driving. Not the regular little ones you see everyone in. She's probably one of their best private flyers as she has 40 years experience on tough terrain, and on a big advert for New Zealand they must have wanted the best.

Spent 6 months in NZ after graduating from Uni in Utah.
Beautiful place & awesome beaches (black sand in West Auckland).
Stayed in Auckland,visited Wellington & Queenstown to enjoy skiing.
Bungy jump was the best!
Hung out with a lot of bouncers (love to drink & dance) who were huge Samoan boys,but the most friendliest guys I've ever met!
Had such a wonderful time!

We also have the ozone hole over us here in New Zealand, so we have high rates of skin cancer to go along with that - so thanks rest of the polluting world :(

@@rhorizon He didn't mock climate change, he used humour to address it ("see you in Ohio"). He did advertise for an air company, but let's be completely honest, air travel is not going to vanish from our civilization. It's here to stay, for better and worse.
We need to find ways to tackle this issue, and highly reduce overall pollution and greenhouse gases emissions, but simply stopping air travel is just wishful thinking.

Brings my heart great joy to see Stephen showing the entire world the beauty of New Zealand & its people. I had the pleasure to visit back in 2014, tried bungee jumping & skydiving plus visited all the LOTR sites like Hobbiton in Matamata & others. Queenstown & Milford Sound blew me away. Cant wait to visit again

@@jillfoster900 I visited Rotorua which was an incredible experience in itself. It was there that I got to eat a "Hangi" at a Marae alongside witnessing the Haka which was a very intense & profound thing to witness in its entirety. I also visited a museum in Wellington which allowed me to learn a lot about the Maori culture & history of early New Zealand so that was great. It really allowed me to appreciate the people, the culture and just the diversity of the nation alongside more things.
I just wish I had more time though as I would've liked to explore more but I'll definitely be coming back again!

My American dad had been to about 60 countries in his life. I once asked him if he had a favorite, one that he'd like to return for pleasure rather than work. Answer: New Zealand.

I live in Northern California and the only Kiwi I have ever met was after I hiked to the tallest mountain in the Lake Tahoe area, Freel Peak. He was at the trailhead when I got back getting ready to go. He liked my hat with the logo “Santa Cruz Surfing Museum.” I thought he was an Aussie, but he quickly corrected me about that. I have wanted to go to NZ and Australia ever since.

Hell no! Thanks to the All Blacks the entire solar system knows what a haka is - it has become as big a cliché as the walking introduction shots that TV reporters require from people they are about to interview. Colbert was right to give that part of our culture a miss.
MarsFKA I mean, I’ve loved this whole series but its not really the NZ I know. A good representation of the typical tourist stuff but Maori culture is a big part of this country and that would’ve been nice to see too, didn’t necessarily have to be about the haka.

We have lots of builders specialising in building wether proof houses ( NZ temperature varies a lot in a day) . We also have a lot of landscape designers. When the border is open they can come here. Our PM is very mean. She only allowed infected New Zealanders into the country. She just keeps spending money and stops anything that can make money for us. What a woman as you guys exclaimed. :)
