Yes!!! This is so much more important than people seem to realize. A great deal of those who choose to commit mass shootings do it for the infamy and just a desire to be recognized/immortalized in some way. Refusing to identify would go a such a massive way in curbing these types of acts.

What are her plans to improve health care funding for men and raise awareness for prostate cancer, decrease suicide rates for men, decerease homelessness for men, further men's education, provide support for male mental health, provide paid leave for men taking care of children, change social stigma for male victims of violence perpetrated by their female partners, and stop the non- consensual mutilation of male infant genitals (circumcision). I've never seen any head of state (man or woman) advocate for men's rights.
I've actually never seen any head of state run a campaign or platform or mention in any interview, speach, or debate what they will do to improve the lives of men. The focus is always on women. People and media seem to cheer for and embrace female leadership because it is new, different, modern, and will bring on social equality. We Australians are extremely jealous. She is such a great leader and keeps making an already great country even greater.
@@MichAndo2712 I really do think it's because Australians are tied down with trade deals with China, that's why the govt are not reacting to covid-19 trying not to piss off the Chinese. Watch "The claws of the red dragon" on YT from 'China In Focus'. Its about Haiwai. I know the govt already tied down (signed contract) with that CCP owned Giant company in Australia. I am scared for you guys, if you haven't figured out what I mean, watch the 1 hr film (based on real/most likely events unfolding since 2018).
I voted for the first time in the New Zealand general election last year - British by birth, moved here in 2017 - and I voted for Jacinda not just because she has handled one crisis after another with an expert hand but also because she's a human being who doesn't see herself as being any more special that the rest of us.
I think that observation is important. Politicians generally look out for themselves and their careers, regardless of how much they profess caring about any issue that serves the public.
I live in the States now, but as a citizen, I still vote in the elections. I really like Jacinda, but I especially like how New Zealand's system has you vote for a party and not for a person. I personally chose to vote Greens, which is more left than Jacinda's labour party, because I know they will caucus with labour and because they represent my values more. Having a system where you can vote for your party knowing they won't win but will get proportionate representation and that it won't result in effectively boosting the opposing party's power, is such a relief. Imagine if you could vote for Bernie in the last election without worrying that it will take a slice of the vote away from Biden and give the election to Trump as a result? America's system is so broken. Republicans have only won 1 popular vote in the last 30-odd years, but they've maintained power for half that time, and represent far less Americans than their Democratic colleagues. It's such an unbalanced, unfair system, one which brought about terrible outcomes today.
Bet you feel like an idiot all these years later seeing what a complete piece of shit Jabcinda Arden really was.

We don't really treat "Celebrities" like a disease or anything. Everyone sorta knows everyone here (I am not joking. In primary school we did a project to get in contact with famous new zealanders by talking to someone who knew someone who knew someone who knew someon and so on)
I've heard stories of her pushing her baby in a stroller on the Wellington waterfront, and stopping to chat with other mums about raising kids. She's also been seen in a few grocery stores and people like to stop and chat with her, she's a total gem.
Yes because unlike America. New Zealand is a first world country.
@@Fithful SAME. Ended up getting my letter to Keiran Reid
This lady is absolutely awesome. New Zealanders, you guys are SMART!
I'm an aussie, I wish she was our prime minister too. She is amazing
Man, this woman makes want to be a better person than I am. Truely inspiring.
I wish this statement was also made by other prime ministers/presidents. 😕
Yet, it seems men are somehow left out in that equality equation. I would have loved for these young, female, heads of state to step up and say hey these are issues affecting men and this is what I am going to do to fix it.
That's probably the best we can hope for in a leader.
Alfred Sung I am a woman and i think you’re right, leaders must care about the quality of life of all their citizens, men, women, children, etc.

She's not actually the head of state - that would be Queen Elizabeth (the Second, if you're English or the First if you aren't and live in another country which is part of the Commonwealth) - just saying, from an Englishman who lives in Scotland...
