Every time I watch your video's the more I wished I had my shop & tools again. It was my passion, second to playing. Nothing better than making a perfectly assembled club that really performs! Have been doing some instruction, club knowledge really gains respect. Keep up the high quality work.
thomas ross thanks for the Kind word
We spine fishing rods as well
Great Content.
I just did a shaft swap in a 18 degree head.... UST recoil proto f5 from a UST attas ez. Good combo. I have a s2h2 warbird project I'd like to attempt in a 3 and 7 wood. Next time I'm in Ohio I'll stop in.
BRBA BABR congrats on the change, check out the bore thru videos for the warbird work
Love the channel! I recently decided to reshaft my srixon z565 irons with some TT AMT Black shafts. This is my first reshafting. When I rolled the new shafts on a flat surface I was surprised how much they wobbled. Do you typically check shafts for straightness before installing and how much is ok?
Michael Herring I do check shafts before I install them check the how to build videos , thanks
I have a question for you. Can Mizuno 919 and 921 heads be bought as components and then be shafted and gripped by someone like you?
I do not want to take advantage of you, but most golf shops don't have good info on this subject.
the short answer is no. However I build mizuno from component form we are 1 of 19 ro 20 now that can do that
Question:. Can getting the right weight of shaft help in preventing a shot that starts to the right. Also do you need similar weighted shafts throughout the set?
Matt, finding the right shaft weight can make a big difference. weight can influence club head path and it should be consistent in the same type of club, it will change when going to the other clubs directly
Do you try to match the swingweight to the original club? Installing a lighter shaft in most cases reduces the swingweight. Was this not a major concern for the player?
kate mark it depends on the golfer if the golfer is smoother in the swing a lighter SW will actually make it better. It takes 9 grams in the shaft for a change and one point is typically not felt by the golfer
Help.... i have the same problem but with a Mazuno 3 wood Hi Fli , the c-taper shaft is not good for me. Can i send my in to you to work your magic?
Marko yes you can please email us at clubmaker@mcgolf.net to get things started. I am in Scotland right and will be home in a few days. We will contact via that email when we return
