For me AI was never truly a threat to be honest, yeah, I had my worries, I still have my worries, but at the end what truly matters to me is my self improvement as an artist, if I will be jobless, so be it, I will still love art and nothing will take it away from me.

"You're in pain because you're fearless." I nearly cried after hearing those words. The past year has been so full of uncertainity not only when it came to my career, but also as an individual. To deal with responsibilities, unforeseen events & cry over the frustrations of everyday life, that was my entire year. To hear you validate those struggles & say that I'm strong really lit a spark in my soul. I really needed to hear that. Adam, thank you for your words & your encouragement. It means the world to me ❤

I have those quiet moments at home in the morning on occasion; sadly my rabbit doesn’t yell at me, but she does dash around the house looking for wires to chew in half 🐇

Speaking as someone who hasn't enjoyed drawing and basically gave it up since 2022, I want to thank you Adam for putting your talent with words into these videos. And as someone who has also suffered both physically and mentally recently, I also want to thank you for giving me a new perspective about hardships and suffering in life. Your channel has been a great help for my artistic mind for years and I'm sure it also has been for a lot of other artists!

And you are our hero too, Adam. Your voice has guided me in the darkness many times. You are a true hero. You are a beautiful person. Thank you for being there when no one, even our families, won't take us seriously and only look at us as failures!

I dont understand the xenophobic fear of AI, its a tool, use it...the tool doesnt destroy the user. I remember being condemned by my peers years ago for using Photoshop to achieve my art.

  • @thediktatortot9645

I've been watching your videos for a while now, but I wanted to let you know that even though I am not perusing any careers (I am disabled & I create art for myself) the advice you give can often help me regardless. I wish there was a way to motivate myself without deadlines, but either way, the advice has stuck with me, even if I don't often get to use it.

  • @cyberzebra1418

The truth is, using AI to make product is simply... BOOORING. as hell. Overcoming difficulties in art is what pushes us and makes it fun. And as long as there's a community of artists, who know the meaning of their craft, and what using our minds to create feels like - we will thrive and do our thing for years to come c:

  • @glorytoukraine5524

Even as a hobbyist, I got worried. You helped me realize I love making art, not the finished product. Same way a weightlifter wouldn't want to get his workout done with a crane. That calmed me down, and helped me be of support for some of my artist friends

Earlier this week I dipped into a video of someone claiming that being an artist is not an identity but just a profession.

  • @verylexish

And there we have it. Another beautiful and warm art hug.

  • @AroxTheMutilator

    Man, that hit hard.

  • @jackmakmorn

    Wow... well spoken, Adam.

  • @Not_Save

Goddammit Adam, you made my eyes wet at the end of the video talking about sucking at drawing, looking at other art and thinking this is what I will never be. Since early childhood i wanted to draw but had a strong belief that i can't and never will be able to, so i gave up from the beginning. 9 years ago i did understand that i want to do art and had a ton of struggles as soon as i started. Still not there, so many times i gave up and yet i keep coming back again, again and again. Maybe one day i will make it, but i'm certain in one thing - i don't want to give up on my dreams. Thank you Adam, thank you for creating a home for souls.

  • @blue_rosa_art

I should know by now, that I am almost 80% incapable in not walking away from one of these videos without crying. I was doing so well until the end, I never realized my soul, my artist soul, needed someone to say I was a hero for continuing to draw, even though I abandoned the dream of living from my art, and even now, as I'm struggling to find work for the last 10 months, art has been the only thing keeping me afloat, the kindness and generosity of people to pay monthly just $5, to see my art, is what's helping to get me over the line right now as I struggle endlessly to find work either in my field (Graphic Design) or retail, but even then, the voice, the little voice, she still wants to try and live off art, to follow that dream fully and completely whenever the real opportunity arises.

  • @axelssantoso5667

thx man , needed this from somebody , wish i could meet someone like you but that just seems damn near impossible , so i thought atleast i hope i can become that person myself but goddamnit is it hard when you feel like your the only one like this , having to step up to become the figure in your life that you desperately needed and wanted all this time . its just that at times it feels like my sense of self and my values/ideals that i hold dearly are slowly but surely shedding away and sometimes i just hope that i dont lose too much of myself going through this storm that i lose who i even am or who i want to be , because at the end of the day im not that strong yet , it feels like you're going down a dark and uncharted path where there's little to no help in navigation and you just hope that you make it out the same , it feels lonely and scary and makes you feel vulnerable man. and i just want you to know you are one of the few things in my 19 years of living that has made me want to pursue becoming more kind , understanding , human and truly embrace humanity and all that it has to offer ( the other being an anime called welcome to the nhk , and some other youtubers ) , thank you man for existing and sharing your presence online since atleast i hopefully can pick up the things that i had lost and forgotten through this road , and again thx so much .

  • @Tahasikeri

thank you for keep producing beautiful videos! I would like to call them soul food Adam, thank you

  • @MarcoAntonio__Art

I have been watching your videos since 2018. Often I thought about commenting on them, but never quite got the courage to do so. But today I couldn't pass without commenting. I just wanted to say thank you, and I don't know another way of doing it.
