You are so right on this point Ann! Walking really does clear the head. We need to get our heads out of a rut. Put one's thinking onto a different track and be amazed at the sudden progress in our perceptions. Priorities can be reorganised as we walk, because as we walk we suddenly begin to see many 'unrelated' things from different perspectives. New connections & relationships start to become obvious!
That is a great accomplishment you've made with doing over 100 kms every 5 days. Due to physical restrictions, I am limited to getting exercise around my yard as I need ankle replacements. I do wholeheartedly agree with you that walking is good for every part of our mind, soul and body.
You are so lucky being able to walk out of your door. We live in a semi-rural part of wales, on a road where people drive too fast, with no pavements…so have to start every walk with a car trip to somewhere. That said we do live in a beautiful part of the world, river, valleys, woods, so every walk can be different. Love walking.

I noticed this as well and so I did a little experiment where one week I would walk over 10,000 steps a day and one where I walked fewer than 8,000 a day and the difference in my mental clarity and physical state between both weeks was astonishing. I felt so much more enclosed, anxious and mentally stuffy during the second week. It’s wonderful how something as simple as walking can make so much of a difference:)
I stayed in Airbnb and booked ahead, so I knew where I was aiming to get to each night. I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of camping on my own - maybe one day. I like the concept of it, but in reality I don't think I'd sleep.😂
I’ve started walking everyday and have found its improved my mental health tremendously.
Fantastic 🥰

Thanks, I actually only did 130 Kms over 5 days, but that was a challenge for me.👍🥰 Good luck with your own walks.

Wales is a beautiful country. Thanks for commenting. Xl🥰
Yes I agree with this. It's the habit that makes the difference. I knew a guy that lost so much weight just by walking the dog every day!
Thanks Jay. 👍🥰
