However, it would be a stretch to have him survive all the way to the second game. He is directly hit with a Deebee drop pod and the wall he was on was set on fire during the course of the battle. Assuming that the invading Deebees didn’t or wouldn’t kill him when they had plenty of opportunities to do so, he would be severely injured and/or burned when the swarm arrived. The swarm’s attack was stealthy and sudden. From what we are shown, he would not have time to acquire a weapon even if he were healthy. Realistically, if he survived the Deebee attack, he would likely be in an infirmary or hospital; not near an armory. On top of that, he would likely have been further injured during the Swarm’s attack before finally being snatched. If it were Marcus or Oscar, I would be more inclined to agree that he could survive. Both of them are old gears who survived facing both the Locust and Lambent; both of which are way worst threats than the Swarm currently. But Gary was not even a COG gear and the worst enemies he faced were deebees with shock enforcers. Oscar was also quite lucky to cut himself out of the Snatcher. Marcus, who we have been with for three games and several books, couldn’t do the same.

He thought it remained undiscovered (keep in mind this would have been not long after the first Christmas since the game's release). I did a bit of research and found a video of someone activating it. So, that's my claim to fame: I informed an easter egg creator that their easter egg had in fact been discovered. Hoorah!
I was getting some metroid vibes when picking up the memento mori boltok, reminded me of the super metroid sequence where the metroid gave his life to shield samus and you are given the rainbow beam, such a cool sequence! of course it was ruined when JD said "Oh look what I found"

Only two easter eggs worth the time, "Dom's Toms & Memento Mori", linked to Cheevo. "Memento Mori" IS awesome; kills Brumak with ONE SHOT & most enemies with a single smack.
Overall this is a good video but it would've been better if the video was shown in chronological order so I can attempt the easter eggs in one playthrough instead of jumping back in forth through chapters.
