Im a little dubious as to how they got so much protein (35g) into that amount of fluid. I knock 3 of these down a day.
Any reason you prefer these to using a protein powder? Might be more cost effective and as another person said, there's a lot of sugar in these. Over 50g a day for you using the chocolate ones.
Forget the rest, I am sticking with Milbona, not only for the taste, which is very important, but for the competitive pricing of the product. Easy to add to my whey powder, to make a high protein, low fat dough type mixture.... yummy!
Hands down - why buy anything else.

yep, gotta shake those HARD to get rid of these lumps- no idea what they are but they have put me off these a bit lol.
Actually the only reason im here is because i was looking to see whether anyone else had this problem :D
🤣yeah they're not appealing are they. Must be the mixture settled at the bottom... but if you forget to shake them, you get a shock everytime 😂
Agree taste great and good value, but apart from artificial sweeteners and milk, the only other ingredient is Maltodextrin which I read is a type of carbohydrate, so not sure where the 35g of protein comes from. Does anyone know? I’m also concerned Maltodextrin has a glycemic index of 100 (50% higher than table sugar) so surely this would cause a spike in blood sugar and the need to chase the hit?
Unfortunately I don't have the answers, have you tried contacting Lidl? That said, I personally think these drinks are good for a quick fix but not ideal as your regular go to protein drink. I've been mostly drinking Organic Whey Protein recently, nothing added and flavourless. Taste much like creamy milk when added to milk.

Always chocolate... but i liked those small banana ones too. But they dont sell them anymore. I never new they made lactose free. But they started cooperating with alpro. so maybe you can get a vegan one.@@GymCompare

Do you know if they Are good for building muscle?
They have a high protein content which is important when used in conjunction with an effective training programme. Drinking these alone won't build muscle.
