Unfortunately I don't have the answers, have you tried contacting Lidl? That said, I personally think these drinks are good for a quick fix but not ideal as your regular go to protein drink. I've been mostly drinking Organic Whey Protein recently, nothing added and flavourless. Taste much like creamy milk when added to milk.

1 Euro? What a bargain! Didn't know you had Lidl in the Netherlands.

They have a high protein content which is important when used in conjunction with an effective training programme. Drinking these alone won't build muscle.

Any reason you prefer these to using a protein powder? Might be more cost effective and as another person said, there's a lot of sugar in these. Over 50g a day for you using the chocolate ones.

I think so, because you will gain some water retention in your muscles. Always consult with a relevant medical practitioner or heath expert before starting any new diet or fitness regime.

You're right, the chocolate flavour has 17g of sugar. It's easy to miss that the nutritional information gives the values per 166ml and the drink is 330ml. I think they're good for an occasional quick protein boost, but if you're consuming protein drinks regularly then a flavourless protein powder would be the better option.

🤣yeah they're not appealing are they. Must be the mixture settled at the bottom... but if you forget to shake them, you get a shock everytime 😂

It's a great way to get that extra protein in without it being a chore. I definitely prefer Blueberry over the other flavours, but Raspberry is a decent alternative. Would love to hear what you think of them after you've tried them.

What's your favourite flavour @matejklan592 ? They seem to have stopped the lactose free ones which I liked.

Always chocolate... but i liked those small banana ones too. But they dont sell them anymore. I never new they made lactose free. But they started cooperating with alpro. so maybe you can get a vegan one.@@GymCompare

If they had added protein they would list it in the ingredients, but as they are showing a high protein value it must be naturally occurring in the type of yoghurt. Whey is just a by-product of the production of milk products, that's why you'll often find that added to things like "protein cookies" or "protein bars" because they don't naturally contain protein. The same as steak being high in protein but doesn't have added protein. The Graham's yoghurts they used to sell were 'quark' which is a type of cheese high in protein. The Lidl ones may be the same although they just say "yoghurt". You're right about greek yoghurt, but there are other high protein types like Skyr etc. I'm sure it'd be pretty illegal for them to give a protein content value if there wasn't any. @@GymCompare I hope that’s the case. I’m sipping on mine on my break as we speak, haha. Lidl have had controversies with inaccurate ingredients in the past, specifically their baked goods - search “sustainweb lidl sourdough”. It’s a problem when people have specific dietary needs and can be harmed by eating a product that e.g. contains 100% wheat when it is marketed as being without. I don’t doubt other products can be an issue next. Hopefully the retailer is being transparent on its product ingredients, including this product marketed at a premium for a high protein content. The passionfruit, mango and papaya one does at least taste good.

@@user-nv7uq3zj5e Let's hope so then! It looks like they've copied the recipe from Graham's as it's almost identical and which sold well but had a few issues. I prefer the peach one myself. They are a little on the sweet side but are more cost effective than alternatives from Arla etc. Thanks again for your thoughts.

Too much sugar in them 12 g sugar too much. I just bought a few of them had one but won't be drinking any more of them
