Shouldn't the studios be suing Zegler for damaging their films with her disreputable public conduct?
She could get countersued. It would be hard to pull off though, but not as hard as it would be for her to sue them. (Actually, that might not be true, they stated a reason for her being fired that doesn't apply to other employees, instead of just firing her without reason like a smart business would've done.)
I'd argue that what Rachel said was what Disney wanted anyway, they're just using her as the fallguy, then they're going to continue to do what they've been doing until the company's coffers are dry and Disney's legacy dies with them.

I myself was excited to hear of a Latina doing the film (even tho Snow White is German). Then I started hearing there would be no dwarves, no prince story line… and all the other stuff that sounded nothing like the original story line.

Doesn't she realize that by suing the studios she has worked with, the other studios will avoid her in the future so they won't get sued by her? If her lawsuit goes to trial, the negative publicity will hurt all parties involved. Zegler might even sue her own agent as a scapegoat. Her only chance of potential success is to be cast as the villain.
I doubt even then. People just don't like HER in general. I have never been so viscerally repulsed by an actor/actress in my life. I love the Hunger Games and even my want to watch the movie (which I loved the book) is pretty darn low just because she is in it. She really screwed up. I could give her a second chance but not any time soon and with a MASSIVE change in attitude.

In interviews for some reason Gal Gadot strikes me as not liking her, she just lets rachel keep digging. I even wonder if She wasn't trolling Rachel by handing her a shovel with that comment. This whole thing is so much more entertaining than anything Disney/Rachel has made in the last 10 Years.

It probably has to do with this simple fact: after that comment, for the most part Gal Gadot shut her mouth. That is LITERALLY the best thing Rachel could have done in this situation. Shut her mouth. People would have gotten mad about it, had a hissy fit, and moved on. By opening her mouth, she becomes frustrated, then says the wrong thing, which causes fan backlash, which makes her more frustrated, which causes her to keep on running her mouth, rinse and repeat. After that comment by Gal, she has not said anything since, has not backed up Rachel, has not made it her mission to start controversy via her ego. That is probably the main difference.

No lawsuits have been filed. Racial discrimination doesn't hold water (her replacement with Jenna Ortega really kills that, and she has no proof to offer to support that claim), and there really isn't a cause of action for fans not wanting an actor... that's actually a reasonable cause for being fired from films. The level of entitlement is amazing.

The Studios need to countersue for her destruction of profits from the projects she was hired to be a part of. Her actions, her words, her behavior has brought her ruin and she needs to be held accountable. Accountability is likely something she is very unfamiliar with.

The companies would have in the contracts she signed a way to remove her without any legal issues so no she shouldn't have a chance when it comes to suing them. And doing so would only make her a harder sell for future projects as she has already sued companies before for dropping her so no company would take that risk.

Agree, I bet that any other girl who was in her role as the protagonist would have handled it as a unique and unparalleled opportunity, I mean, how many actresses had the opportunity to officially go out as Snow White and thus leave their legacy?
Her strongly negative comments certainly influenced so many people to avoid seeing Snow White. However, in this case Disney also played a very strong supporting role in ruining the movie in the first place. However, with regard to her taking various studios to court for dropping her from projects, I doubt she has a chance of winning. Why? I believe that the contracts offered by the Studio must have some sort of escape clause to prevent this from happening in the first place.

People with eating disorders do tend to be a little off the rails. Rachel Zegler is just taking that to an entire new level. I'm more concerned for her health than her career.
She should just ask Disney for another chance! She’s come a long way and she has a huge following! She proved she could handle getting a role right with the HungerGames movie after the melt down. If Disney gave her another chance and maybe coached her through the role instead of just hoping the magic of Disney air would be the fire to lite the inspiration? But suing Disney is probably going to fan the flames. I believe if she asked for a second chance it would heal the lose she experienced and Disney could gain instead of having even more blowback. Of course she’s going to get more roles and move on, but I don’t think Disney wants this to stain them if she really walks away like this. People will remember this and this will stay with Disney even though it turned out the way it did. If Disney reached out and gave her another chance, it would remain the strong company it encapsulates. Disney is the parent in this, if they forgive her and still have open arms, it would show everyone that their brand is true, the magic of Disney. Like a father to a daughter not commanding their presence but keeping their child’s dream alive. That’s the way I see it. This could hurt Disney if she doesn’t do this movie … She’s young, it was a learning experience. She over came, Disney will look like an awful parent if they don’t fix this… Just my opinion. Disney is supposed to be better than this. They are supposed to protect their talent.. It shouldn’t have went this way to begin with. If they had protected Britney and Lindsay they wouldn’t have ended up shattered. Disney has the power and the means. They have to protect their assets better… these actors and actresses are their brand, their life blood and they keep them forever. They have to fix all of this for their future! They could be better! America and the world needs Disney! They keep the idea of things that we lose as we grow older. It will always be a heart and vein for the world and most importantly America. But if they don’t take care better, and protect their pride, talent and assets, they will lose something very special they could have cultivated. People believe in this company… they have so many people they have to protect and do better to guide. They can if they wanted to, they are being careless with their management. If Walt Disney was still alive, he would never have let any of these fall away as they have… I believe the higher ups may not care as much as it is probably just a ‘job’ to them and not something they are passionate about … the life of their company …

Its purely business. Studios are dropping her, as it is box office poison to have her in new roles for the near future. Its about her attitude and its not racial or toxic fans. She did it to herself in bad interviews with her trash talk. This girl cannot learn from her mistakes.

She is a young, we all say things we regret when we were younger, she will learn and bounce back! The blame rests with Disney who set the tone for the reconstruction of the classic into a “masquerade of wokeness”.
It is one thing Disney trying to reconstruct a classic. It is another thing you are running your mouth and think there are no consequences. I could see Disney looked at the product and realized how bad it is, so they didn't stop her from running her mouth, which will give them an excuse to fire her without breaking contract.
Kind of what Miley Cyrus did to Disney, she acted like she went full Britney, so Disney wanted to distance as far as from her. As soon as Miley got out of her contract, she went back to normal.
So what, young or not. She is not a child. If you get millions shoved in your ass just to pretend to be a princess you should shut your mouth and keep your idealogy to yourself. Do you know how many communits could need this money that just one spoiled adult pretender gets.
@@haoye2413 yes I agree, and Miley seems to have grown through it and have survived … thank god … not all of them survive unfortunately. But when you are young you think you are more invincible than you actually are 😅. I hope she will learn from this and hopefully turn around … and she may not, but I can’t be too hard on her as I was young myself at one time and when I look back I sometimes shudder at some of the stupid things I used to think as well. However, we can both agree that the blame for the fostering of these stupid ideas should lay on Disney.

She'll lose in court, in turn she will be blacklisted just like Amber Heard. She'll never get another acting job and then she'll blame it on us with the meaningless words like "misogyny", "sexist", "patriarchy" etc.
