Valheim is currently available with PC Game Pass, or for purchase on the Steam, Microsoft and Humble stores.

This is going to help out multiplayer in so many ways! Especially with cross-play. Keep up the good work, Iron Gate! Not everyone will appreciate all the work that goes into the business side with a company like the X soft. Hope ya'll got a solid cut, and I look forward to being able to game with my console-only friends!
How does it help multiplayer? Is there some matchmaking where it throws you into random world every time you start like f76?

Valheim might be my favorite game that has released in the last 5 years. It's competing so hard with Red Dead Redemption 2, and I think it does in fact top it. I've got another run going with some buddies right now, and I've played for about 200 hours on steam. All of the content updates have been amazing, and I love to see all the sneak peeks of what the Valheim team has been working on.
I'm very excited to see what comes next for Valheim.

Yes it will be. They’ve already been prepping the cross platform stuff with beta testing.

So Stoked! i have it for PC but most of my friends have Xboxs so i didnt sink as many hours as i wanted to into the game. But Im So Hyped for this and have my buddies all ready to jump in! Super Excited to drop 100's of hours into the game!

Enjoy the game, Xbox players. Valheim has very much become one of my all time favorite gaming experiences. It’s one of those games I feel I can just continuously play this game over long periods of time. Finish one playthrough, start another.

Although I'm happy for other players to enjoy and play the game on different platforms. I hope the developers have deployed something about the frame drops and the instances whenever players are on their base. It was a plague on pc, especially playing with friends or community servers.

I am very happy that Valheim is also available for other platforms. Everyone deserves to play this awesome game! However, I ask you to never change Valheim with a focus on consoles, but to continue to perfect it primarily for the pc. I don't know of any game that has been improved through a console import. All was fundamentally deteriorated. Please take this to heart, dear Iron Gate developers :)

Actually, making games for pc first then porting them to consoles is what's caused so many delayed and bugged launches, theres a reason a lot of devs are going back to developing games for console first, then porting to pc.

@@Andry895 The point isn't that it's easier to develop games for the console. It's about the fact that the UI and all game mechanics suffer because of console import.

When the game was relased was pretty fun, now it has become kinda tedius with a lot of waiting, like every other survival game.

@@gimmeonion to use the harvests from the plains, you have to wait the thing to grow and the you have to wait to get the procesed goods, and you need a lot of it, it dosent make it hard, it turns out tedius and boring, back when they relase the first version they said how they wanted to avoid this, but they fucked it up more with the food update. Sorry for my bad english.

@@gimmeonion not really, at least how the game is now, to go to the mistlands you need high tier food yes or yes, most of them use a lot of flour, wich you need to grow first and then put on the mill, it takes 2 days to grow, and depending on the wind 1 day more, maybe you can build things while you wait but at that moment you probably dont need it.

@@sammyshehole It's hysterical how many QoL mods are needed for a truly good experience.
Disregarding the tons of mods that add insanely cool and new content, but the QoL mods purely make the game 10/10. Without them, game is like a 5/10, just because there's so much clunky stuff.
An example is, in Valheim repairing equipment takes Zero materials, it's always free. But you have to click "Repair" for every item in your inventory. That's annoying.
There's a mod that upon interacting with the workbench/forge/etc it automatically repairs all gear associated with that particular workbench, saving 10+ clicks every time.
Another fantastic QoL mod is Eternal Torches. Have a large base? Do you use dozens, or hundreds of torches to light it up? or light the roads up you've made spanning across the island? They use resin to fuel, you'll have without farming thousands of resin, they just bloat up inventory and chests.
Their only use is to re-fuel torches and stuff. Imagine, every couple of weeks ingame having to refuel, manually, every torch. It's obnoxious. Eternal Torches makes it so Torches have infinite fuel. Purely QoL.
The in-game's auto-run is absolute garbage. Can't even change directions, you have to disable the autorun, change direction, then re-enable. There's a mod that lets you actually lets you change the direction you're heading while auto-running.
I can list off 30+ mods that only do small things like this. They don't add nothing persay, they just make the game feel 10,000x better.
So yea, console sucks. Set aside the other 10,000 reasons, the fact PC games are easily moddable makes it the greatest platform ever.
Im still confused why the mistlands have so much thought put into them, but the plains still feels like a largely unfinished biome
