TN Whitetail Freak super excited that we could help a fellow filmer/hunter our! We will be releasing a video that goes more in depth on editing and controlling lighting and everything pretty soon.
Cool video man, if you could upload a couple clips showing how well the iPhone camera set up that would be awesome. Also in some low light conditions. Cool video man
Jeff Freuler got ya. That’s awesome man! Any way we can help just let us know. E will also be doing tutorials on how to edit your hunts. Editing can be so frustrating and intimidating. We wish you the best of luck this season! Please keep in touch and let us know how you do!!!
I’ll be curious to see the light collection capabilities and how the sensor versus the lens attachment you use affects video... really cool though, nice video, looking forward to the updates!
Great video! I have been looking to start self filming and trying to talk myself out of buying a $1,200 camera and I think you just did that! However, am I seeing it correctly that if I have an I-phone 13 pro I DONT need to purchase any of this to achieve the same result? Thanks in advance for the response!
Bob Walker thank you man! I have edited a few things, mainly for this tutorial and I’m very encouraged with what I can do when I scale the clips a bit.
Nice! I've been trying to figure out a way to easily get into filming. This looks like the ticket! Can you post the link of any videos that you captured with this setup?
So im looking in the website and it says Beastgrip cage for iPhone 11 pro...i just got the iPhone 12 pro. Any idea if the 12 pro is compatible with the 11 pro beast cage?
Is there anyway we can private message I have some questions! I love the video and really appreciate the idea I can’t afford a camera right now and bow season is right around the corner!! I clicked on the camera arm link to order it and it says not found!
@@theMobileHuntersEXPO thanks I’d even being willing to meet up and shoot some videos together up here or down there I have some awesome private and public land spots in southern Wisconsin!!!
I received my beast cage for iPhone 11 Pro today with the pro series 3x tele conversion lens. With the lens mount plate located over the 1x camera of the IPhone I have no issues at all but if I swap the mounting plate to utilize the 2x camera of the I phone I get a grainy black picture. Do you know why that is?
I’m looking to film hunts on the side. I already shot my buck this year so looking to spice things up and hone in on video. That being said, would a tripod make video more stable? I noticed some shake in the video which I would like to prevent from happening as much as I can. I have a gimbal but the cage with the lens you suggest won’t fit in the gimbal I have! So, I want the lens but don’t want shaky film. Any thoughts?
Fueled by the Outdoors just at the end of the video when you show the deer. I can foresee me moving my camera arm and the video turning out shaky (I’ve never used one so not sure how stable they can be). It’s def not bad and can be somewhat fixed in the editing process but, just trying to weigh all my options before diving in.
Hahahahaha. I was gonna say. We worked very hard so that didn’t happen. Lol. Yes that was freehanding it from the car. I’ll have lots more examples after this deer season. Feel free to join our Facebook group “The Elite Outdoors” and friend me if you like. Christopher Leppert is my name. Any questions you have, please just ask. Yeah it looks like they stopped selling the 3x for some reason. Though the 2x combined with the new 3x native lens on the 13 pro max would be the same.
@@theMobileHuntersEXPO ok. Hey thanks for the info I appreciate it. I’m looking for a remote of some sort now so I don’t have to touch my phone. They have a bunch for the shutter but I would like to find one that will zoom in and out but if not no big deal. I found one that is waterproof and it has a bike strap that would be handy for the head handle. If you know of any others that would help. Thanks again. Support from southern indiana
Yes absolutely there will be a part two! @@theMobileHuntersEXPO are you guys close to posting anything demonstrating more info on this set up. I’m really interested what it looks like zooming in on wildlife at different distances with this lens. Just how far do you think you can clearly film a deer from with it before getting too distorted that type of thing. Really close to pulling the trigger on this set up but that seems to be the only thing holding me back . Also if you do make another video going more in depth in this you mentioned having different apps. There are plenty of setups that are the same price or even less expensive. But this works for us better as bow hunters in thick cover usually. No need to zoom. And we can hunt in any weather without the worry of ruining our equipment.
