- Can a Station Wagon really be all that impressive? With a 6.1 Hemi V8 and Supercharger it sure can! This Dodge Magnum SRT8 is the complete package. It has an AirBag suspension, complete Wrap, and Magnason Supercharger tuned very conservatively at 500 rwhp.

@@joseduque2534 He's not "right or wrong" as a hellcat magnum has yet to be produced therefore you cannot comment on the sales that it has made, since there are none. He is basically saying he is confident that a hellcat magnum would sell for at least a year... if they made one.
@@joseduque2534 The magnum was originally cut because of lack of sales but if they were to re introduce the car with a hellcat variant, I'm sure the sales wouldn't lack either. Have you seen all the following of the junkyard dave build? Plus Magnum groups on facebook have a collective of over 25k members. I would say at least 5k would buy the car in the group alone. Then you have people not even on social media... it'd sell.

Best magnum I've ever seen. And IF dodge RE-MADE the magnum I'm sure it's gonna replace the charger.
I never owned one but have always been a big fan of these cars. Shame they are no longer being made. Have always kind of considered buying one. Maybe will eventually.
My 07 SRT8 Magnum handles very well with just aftermarket springs, thinking of adding a Procharger soon. Great review, awesome ride.

I have no idea why but I just love the magnum.
The Magnum doesn't have body roll because of the Chasis it's built on... not due to the air bags on that particular vehicle. There is a lot of work in it that Daimler and Dodge did to make them smooth on cornerning. But that particular car is quite nice. Always particular to the Magnums.... so got me one too! Don't settle for anything less than the V8!

It is Sad the Dodge did not give the Magnum a chance. Unlike the new SRTs of today. They are still popular today and still bring top value on clean ones. I have been looking for one with low miles which is almost impossible to find. I wish they would bring something like it back.
I have a blue one, it’s a 2006 R/T HEMI, I bought it 2019 very clean with 98000 miles, cream interior. Now I have 10300 miles in it. I changed the cream interior to black, I have 22 inches rims black, lips splitter, I changed headlights and rear lights and more. I love it. Good thing is I barely drive it. It parks under my carport covered. I would like to know how he made the front bumper like this? Cause I want to make mine just like this too

I think the car was awesome and I really enjoyed this review. In the beginning of the video I had a hard time hearing exactly what you were saying so maybe the volume levels need to be adjusted? Another thing that could be just a pet peeve of mine is you were saying umm alot and it distracted me a little(maybe that's just me). Overall though it was well made and I thought the camera work and quality were great. keep up the reviews I really like these!
Thanks for the input Randy. I forgot to adjust mic levels on the first part - amateur mistake. I'll try to keep the umms to a minimum next time :)
+keola36 For one of your first reviews on the channel it's great. one of the things I did that helped me from saying umm was instead of saying it I'd just let there be a slight pause. It helped me out alot at work but make sure you don't let the pause go on for an awkward amount of time

I absolutely love the look and apund of this car and I might sound cheap saying this but ive heard it has a lot of mechanical problems.
That may be why Dodge cancelled production of the Magnum.
@@stonecold7919 not quite, production was cancelled for two reasons. For one, the recession. And for two, they didn’t sell as well as Chargers or 300s

Top speed isn't limited to 169 mph, where the hell did you get that from??? I did 175 mph in mine bone stock and you can check videos all over here where guys are into the 170's all day long with zero mods.
Sorry JC, The first 2 sources I found stated the 169 mph top speed and one of them was "Car and Driver". I'm not doubting that more can be achieved, thats just what I found after a quick search.

It's "Drag limited" to 169, therefore if you have a wind pushing your behind, or aerodynamic appearance mods, im sure above that is possible. Any other way you aint getting much past 169.

He stated that it was limited in which it's not. These cars surpass 169 mph all day long in stock form. Now it might not go much faster @ 175 in which I've done a few times, but my point is still on key.

I have a bone stock Magnum R/T. Can't wait to graduate college so I can start putting some money into it. I want to Bore and Stroke the motor, maybe toss a nice wrap on it. Already have lowering springs and I put on 2013 challenger factory rims. Everything else is unmolested. I want it just basic and nice looking, nothing this crazy. Maybe swap out the springs for bags, but I can't quite justify the cost at the moment.

Why not put a Hellcat SRT8 or Hellcat Demon SRT8 crate engine kit under the hood, as well as some chassis modifications and muffler improvements as well, EOtekk?
The first step I'm doing is a full exhaust with headers. My factory system is starting to rot out. The springs I had were too low and way too soft, I just replaced them with SRT Challenger springs with stiffer shocks on all 4 corners. Also put on copper Hellcat wheels. Next is new headlights and I'll probably get the same set as these. Last mod will probably be an SRT bumper.
My goal is to get all the aesthetics in order before I start doing performance upgrades. It has nearly 150,000 miles, so I want to squeeze out as much life as I can out of the thing. I don't think I would be able to afford a full engine swap. I'd like to do a naturally aspirated stroker build because I can use the same block and transmission. Haven't decided on a 392, or go balls deep and over bore the cylinders to a 410. I don't really want to spend more than 10 grand on the thing. I basically got the car for free, so I don't want to go any higher than the total value.

Why is speed such a big deal??? What's the point of "flying" pass traffic to the point where you lose control of the vehicle?
I own a 14 charger and the main reason I got my car is for the style and look. That's it. I don't need to drive 400 mph. Why? Innocent people die everyday due to people who just have a lead foot and not to long ago, my son was a victim of a hit and run driver, SPEEDING AND INTOXICATED, and the driver left my son on the concrete sidewalk and drove off like nothing happened.
I don't drive like a manaic. I don't need to fly down the road to get attention. That's what my mods are for.

I speak from watching experience of pure speed freaks from when I was in the military and how they would speed around the base, endangering innocent bystanders or pedestrians lives.
The guy didnt look like he got the car up to 100 mph he looked like he got it up to 60 mph and then let off stop being a buzz kill and enjoy the video of a cool car
Skill and control are required but with those 2 things going fast is fun and exhilarating. It's not for attention it's because we love it. I do my speed runs on back roads with nobody around specifically to avoid attention grabbing
When a person like going fast or likes speed he or she likes it personally. They don't do it to show off. I am not saying drive like a dick and run over people for personal pleasure of speed. Some people like doing 20 under the speed limit and some like doing over 20. To each its own. It's not necessary that everyone should think like you or think like me.
