I've been wearing this watch every single day for the past 3 years. Snow, beach, water, office, everywhere. I've truly beaten the shit out of this watch. I'm sometimes tempted to pick up something more "premium", but I always snap myself out of the idea when I think about how perfect this watch is. At this point, I'm convinced this will be on my wrist for the rest of my life.
You’ve reconfirmed my opinion that this Sinn superbly executes many of the critical elements of a versatile field watch, while still offering its own unique distinctions. Perhaps it’s distinction is the result of its elements being very cohesive. I appreciate its clean design. Thanks.
I've had a Sinn 756 for about a decade I love it as it doesn't draw attention apart from the good type it still looks amazing with it's tegimented vase
Having tried this on recently, l was very impressed with how it wore and it looks so much nicer in person than seeing it in photos. My Sinn 856 S UTC gets just as much wrist time as my Submariner 124060 and has been a mainstay in my collection since 2019. I’m between adding either the 556A, Tudor BB54 or Sinn 856...
Owned this watch for 4 years now and love it, but!! I must have got a faulty movement as it was sent back twice under warranty, suddenly losing time for no reason. It went well for about a year, then the same thing happened again. Ive now sent it an independent watch repair (Perpetual Time) and am awaiting its return. Everything else you say is spot on. I have the ine with the red seconds hand and that to me adds anither aesthetic that really works. Great reviews, thanks.

Wow it sounds like the perfect companion for you.
That’s the dream 😂 well done
Buy one thru me,
1: 556a
1: 556a rs.
Both new taps, papers, box, certificate card. I also have many other timepieces.

I've got a 556A RS, I think the pop of red adds a bit of life to an otherwise monochrome face.
I agree, the red seconds is a nice touch
LIKE IT! Clean and easy to read. Small date window, OHH YYEEEAAAHHH MOOOOORE please. T)
A great explorer alternative! Keep up the amazing videos!
Explorer esque, yet still quite unique. Thank you for the support 👍

Well said, it's extremely well designed.

The Sinn 756 is a stunner!
Did the bracelet get an upgrade? Yours looks a lot chunkier than mine (bought in 2016) and has a different style of extension clasp.
@@tom7245 I'm not too sure, but I know they recently revealed a new clasp, which is different from the one I have.
try the berny version
I was interested in the 556i, but the 556a is growing on me.
Both are fantastic options
A field watch that can be used as a diver

Might want to check the electromagnetic levels in your whereabouts.
Love the H link bracelet
Looks great and wears great!
Is the lume that bad?
Does this watch wear larger than the 38mm case as it has a thin bezel? Thanks!
I'd say it wears true to its size. While it does have a slim bezel, when you put it side by side with a 40mm watch, you will notice a difference.
Glad to see this doesn't have the gold toned rotor. When did they switch to rhodium?
I'm not 100% sure, but maybe late 2022
The rotor on mine is gold colored. I wonder when they changed it
I'm not 100% sure when they changed it, but I think it was sometime around 2022
@@welcomewrist Sinn 556 with ETA 2824-2 had gold rotor, while the SW200-1 has rhodium plated.
now make one in gold , or titanium please ,,,
Gold would be interesting
@@welcomewrist Titanium would be interesting.
When it comes to the date window, do or do not. There is no in between.
Sinn needs to bite the bullet and get a chronometer in here. At the very least, this watch deserves a higher power reserve.
A higher power reserve would be nice
It's my understanding that Sinn modifies the top grade movement so that it runs to chronometer standards. Cheers.
If only it was 40-42 mm
That would be nice to cover all wrist sizes
Check the 856. Looks the same at 40mm.
@@RowanTiangco Good call!
No lume on seconds hand 👎
Useless
For what exact purpose is that so important?
Do you run track events during the evening or so,at eclipse? 🤣
🎉
Why is the rotor not golden in colour as seen in other 556A, 556ARS 556I and 556IRS?
IS IT A NEW MODIFICATION, AND WHAT MATERIAL IS IT?
@@thomaslam9942 It´s a design change. The new silver rotors are rhodium plated.
