If you you are after Lunkers, you can join a Lunker farming group, and skin all the fish you tag. (Don’t dps, use your spear) Got a few of the skinning skill point items too.
The section about Curious scraps is incorrect. They are also a weekly resource the same as the epic Curious Hide, which is why you were farming hundreds of mobs without getting more. If you read the section on curious scraps in your skinning journal there is a counter that tells you how many more curious scraps you can find per week. Your last 'curious scrap' loot will always be the large curious hide. It is your reward for getting all of the weekly skinning done for the week. Your section on the 'Mastery' sub-specialization for bait crafting is also not quite right. Or at least could use more detail. It is not just about creature type, using bait in very specific map locations draws in skinning-only rare mobs that always drop multiple hides when skinned. For example the Steelcliff Passage in Thaldrazus will always lure in a rare Rocklion Matriarch. The Sylvern Plunge in the Azure Span will always lure in a rare Iceclaw Matriarch, one of those frost bears.
@@inorogNL Found another one. The Lilac Ramble in Ohn'arhan Plains summons a rare porcupine. This one is actually pretty valuable, crystalspine fur is expensive on most servers since there aren't really quests anywhere to kill porcupines.
@@dai8217 tnx I was going trough the zones in O. Plains but dis not made it to that one 😁 also (if not mistaken) there is some kind of daily cap on special mobs. After 5 kills or so I only got normal mob afterwards.

Skining specialisation question I specced into bait crafting and last nide gives me ability to summon special creatures at special locations. I can not find any info on where these special lications are. Anyone can help me out?
I started picking up skinning on my pvp realms so I didn't leave a trail of dead animals leading a stealthier rogue right to me. Little bags had me having to a bank alt every mail box. I'd have loved the 32 slot mats bag and interact on soft targeting. :-)
Hey dude, what addon do you use for your Damage numbers??? It looks like a fancy version of WoW's standard, I tried MikScrollingBT but wasn't for me. I like the look of yours. Also thanks for the guides for DF, having a great time watching them all as well as your tierlists!
@@MarcelianOnline Thank you! I found that video shortly after I asked this. I don't know how I missed it! I've been watching them all haha. Thanks for the reply! Have fun!

The bear form is from a legion Artefact appearance, I don't think it's available anymore, but the mage tower challenge rewards something similar, in a different colour!
@@MarcelianOnline items like skin, herbs, orbs and others has the same Price region wide. A cobalt ore will cost you the same in Thunder Lord as in Uther.
Hey now! Excuse me!!!! I’m not here for skinning! Jesus. Always making assumptions. Why then am I here?! For that sweater! Now I must own it. Yes, that one specifically. Mwahahahah!
@@MarcelianOnline for those who enjoy professions and all of it's intricacies I can definitely see that. However, as someone who has limited time in a game and needs to split it between m+, some pvp, and maybe the occasional raid. I don't have enough time to commit to learning a fairly complicated crafting method. it's great for those who enjoy delving into crafting. but very poor for anyone who only wants to make a few things for self sufficiency. L For context - I generally do herbalism and alchemy to sustain my own consumables. Occasionally a leatherworker + skinner if theirs strong enough gear (play mostly leather classes). the only thing I needed to do was look up a guide on which herbalism paths exists for each herb, or a small area to focus on for skinning. As you generally only needed a few different things. Even in this guide which is pretty comprehensive for skinning, and 40+ minutes long. I still don't know which locations marked on a map to go to for farming something required. Just the general "go to onaran plains" maybe a mob type, but no specific spots. Even the rare items that are needed can't be focus farmed at all. Which makes it take simply too long for anyone who has relatively limited time. not to mention the whole crafting order thing. Even if I get the matts, I've got literally no clue how much to pay to craft the item. It's not shown anywhere. At least when something can be sold on the AH, I know where it stands in relative value. I even looked for the gems for my neck piece, and you can't even get them off the AH. Not even the gems. You need to crafting order them, with nothing anywhere telling you how much to pay for them. (the biggest frustration of the entire thing is not knowing the price. I probably wouldn't dislike it soo much if I could just see the cost directly. Not knowing if i put something up it'll be ignored, or not knowing if I'm overpaying/underpaying etc. . . Just let them be sold on the AH already.) even ffxiv which has a relatively involved crafting system, wasn't this complicated. Nor was it so hard to just find direct information (e.g. farm here for this item, this rare item is dropped roughly here. best place to farm large groups of x mob are in y location).

any alt catch ups for professions?
Thanks. What mod are you using that showed the locations of the skinning professional masters?

bodies remain visual for other players. I was killing stuff to skin then saw another player skin thin air, he said as long as we both tag mobs.

I thought the AH was national now? So a whole AH system for EU and another for US etc
It should be, but there may be delay or maybe it just didn't work that way when we tested prices on 2 servers.
You can no longer share bait skinning. I tried it just now. :(
how to make standing bear like min 3:06

BTW the servers are all synced to common prices at the auction house. so there is no diffrents marcelian :D
Technically yes, but when we tested 2 servers prices, they were different. Perhaps there is a delay updating?
Then why is Stormreaver so much more expensive for certain items than Area-52?
@@Dea7hWarran7 Because not all items were shared on the servers at the auction house. These kinds of things like mounts, boes are server specific.
