Yes! Definitely would watch a series about individual professions! Also, I'm seriously puzzled that you only have 151k subscribers. You put out better content than almost any content creator short of people who only put out information on a specific role or class. Keep at it!
I personally can't stand the high energy, loud super hyped personality. Many WoW players are older (30+) and his style of RUclips is more in the style of the new generation. imho. This could be a reason for the subscriber number. The content of the videos is great btw.
Some of the big issues I have with the updated system is: 1. By the time I will be able craft the high ilvl stuff I’ve already progressed into M+ and raiding making the items redundant/useless. Tier sets ya know 2. Eventually all the specialization talents will be unlocked meaning specialization will eventually not be a thing. 3. The only reason the work order system exists is because blizzard wants to let players bypass the BoP aspect of the gear, if they want to do that just make the gear BoE? It feels redundant. 4. The work order system had the quality select removed from public work order during the last week of the beta, only the second week of them testing it, I imagine they did that because the data showed that the only work orders being placed were the max quality/ilvl. Most people don’t care that it can be upgraded later “if I’m having it crafted now I want it to be the best version of the item” 5. Building off of #4 if the only quality of items players want is max, why bother introducing it in the first place? FFXIV removed the quality system in their most recent crafting over haul because they straight up said no one wanted the items unless they were max quality. I like the idea of crafting talents and specializing but every system that has had any kind of none refundable point system has been changed to make it refundable and for the betterment of that system, Legion Weapons, Azerite Armor, Shadow Lands covenants. For me crafting has been the worst part of dragon flight the UI changes are great but it is too slow to keep up with other content and just not worth the time or effort because none of the professions make any money at the moment.100/100 mining 75/100 engineering for reference. *edited for grammar
Initially the new crafting system did my head in, but thanks to videos done by you I now understand it a lot more and am getting the hang of it. Thanks again for your great content
been returning to WoW recently and this profession system changes are one of the best W's blizzard has taken in years. Its just amazing how the progression works and how it rewards you for putting the work to improve your ranks and skills, now you can really play the game focusing only on professions. Nice video!
I would love to see detailed professions videos as well. BTW, I’m 46 and You guys are no where near over the top with content presentation 🤣🤣 keep up the good work!
Thank you for this video. I have always enjoyed the crafting aspect of the game and the new systems seem a bit daunting. I would love a crafting vid series as I tend to level alts and level every craft.
My only problem with the crafting specializations is that there are some extremely suboptimal spec trees to go down that will hamper your progress drastically. I chose a spec based on Icy Veins' recommendation for M+ raider engineering and it was a complete waste of time. Their recommendation left me with none of the synergistic features I would have gotten from other paths, and in fact was basically the opposite of how I would have built otherwise, bottlenecking me into a spec that in hindsight was probably the worst possible way to go. This wouldn't be quite as bad if there were a method to respec your points, perhaps by crafting or farming a specific item with your profession that allows you to redistribute them, but as it is, if you made a mistake you get to live with that mistake forever, or at least until you have so many points that it no longer matters.
You don't need any specialization to gather rousing order from titan-touched mining nodes. That spec branch only increases what you get from it and some other buffs
Definitely make a series with all professions, while this helped a lot, the system is super convoluted and I feel like I also need videos of my professions of choice.
I didn't think I would play dragonflight but I've basically heard nothing but good since it's release and the new crafting looks heaps of fun! Leveling a new character and I'm lev 58 currently onto dragonflight this weekend !!
Definietly love the new proffession systems. Ive had a blast messing around with all of the «new» proffessions. Although, If they dont do anything about the auction house being region widee pretty soon, proffessions will die out as soon as its been tested.. there is no form of server economy (the marked is floded with every crafting material, gear, resources etc) which makes proffessions boring AF in the long run after everything has been tested out, as theres no «carrot» for proffessions. Every piece of gear, every resource, everything is so dirt cheap. (And tailors has taken the biggest hit) And will remain as long as you’re tied to the entire european marked. Its not even worth farming anything because it sells for way less on the auction house then the time and effort it takes to farm it yourself..
@@MarcelianOnline yeah sadly :( hopefully they are recieving feedback and are willing to revert the region auction house. Its going to make a massive change for the longevity of proffessions. AAAAND, its going to benefit blizzard aswell as they could be selling more tokens with some auction house price changes for the people not willing to do proffessions :D
Got a question - do you guys know of any addons to expedite the crafting processes - for example fulfilling crafting orders at speed rather than all individually crafting them . I haven’t been able to find any & it would be super helpful, cheers & hope you’re both well .
Nobody is interacting with the public work order system, because you can't set a minimum quality for the crafted pieces. Unless they change the public work order system, I'll never place a public order the entire expansion. Who wants to get a random ilvl piece 372-382, when it could be a guaranteed 382?
definitely needs some work, on the flipside, I know people that have successfully crafted and got crafted items through public orders, but had to resort to Trade Chat to establish a relationship between the crafter and the customer, which is clearly not what blizz intended with this system. Still an improvement, but has to have some of its bugs aired out
@@MarcelianOnline The easiest way to fix it, would be to let us select a minimum quality on public orders or give crafters a way to advertise their skills somewhere other than trade chat. I love crafting and the new changes, but it's a hassle tracking down the right people to make things at high quality through trade chat.
Clearly would need an individual profession guide, with location map pings, addons/weak auras, order to craft stuff based on how easy it is to farm the mats, and more.
Does anybody know much about gathering professions? What I don't understand is this - for each type of draconium deposits I have 180 skill and it says you need 155 skill to start gathering it at HIGHEST QUALITY, yet I still only gather quality 2 draconium ore. Why?

@@MarcelianOnline so let’s say I bought a tailoring only cloak, if I drop skinning, use tailoring until I upgrade, then go back to skinning, I’ll retain 100 skill and my knowledge??
some people make out the new Profs like it's rocket science, but it's really not. it's also not mindless and dull either, which it was getting to that point sadly, i really hope that Blizzard ignores those who think it needs dumbed down again because Minecraft is more complex than WoW at times, gotta use that cranium.
Haha you guys and your English. Makes me chuckle everytime. "we have every information" lol. It's "we all information" A for effort though and great video
Took engineering and I really regret my choice. Not much worth it as a DH.
