I played this game as a child (I mostly drove around and ran pedestrians over because I didn't know what I was doing lol) and I have so many nostalgic memories.
Would be dope had rockstar released a modern version of this, i enjoyed working for gangs and making enemies only to be neutral or allies with them again
I think back then when games weren’t as realistic as today a movie like that before the game made you fantasize that your were there while playing the cartoonish game 😂. It was like that for me. Same when playing Pokémon in my head that world was like the cartoon but graphics were 2D 😂. If you didn’t watch the intro the game wouldn’t have made any sense either
it's a cinematic experience of what the game is about. You work for gangs and then betray them, they turn hostile towards you and then you work for that other Gang that you were hostile to before until you betray them again.
I just got this for Playstation to play for the 1st time, then I read that THIS setting, Dusk is only availabile on PC or Dreamcast. Biggest bummer ever so I ordered a PC copy. Still have yet to play 1 or 2 lol

I’ve never understood the connection between the intro and the actual game. I still cannot wrap my head around it

its like gta 4. you have to get used to it ^^ i play II alot and have no problem with the controls at all :D
