I thought they made it perfectly clear. The nasty orderly taunted her with the keys to the medicine cabinet calling it, IIRC the keys to heaven and mentions all the pills and drugs it contains. She says she doesn't do thst stuff anymore and he points out the needle marks on her arms. That made it obvious that she was a recovering drug user.

The original The Blob is a classic '50s horror movie with a young Steve McQueen playing the lead. The version that he directed is the 1980s remake which is pretty good and very strong on over the top practical special effects so is worth a watch too!
I watched The 80's remake as a kid at a friend's sleepover. I could not sleep after that, especially when something crawled on top of my legs while I was in my sleeping bag. Turns out it was my friend's cat, but I had no idea he had one.
'Young' Steve McQueen. Early in his career, but not quite young enough for that character. I believe his teenager was 28, which is still better than certain other films of the era, using 40 year olds as teens.
The effects in this look cool even now. I really wish more movies would use them over the cgi they seem to be obsessed about haha great reaction y'all!
I love the expanding of the original premise of “in your dreams he can do whatever he wants. But they are your dreams, so you can to. Be a wizard, be super strong.” We’ve all had dreams where we were the hero of our own story with powers and it was a clever way to improve on the original without leaving behind the rules of the first.

"Yeah well I don't believe in magic (say's the dream demon who made a deal with evil forces) so you can't affect me." Yes its a dream and he'd have more experience manipulating it but still it annoys me.

This sequel is one of my favorites glad to see a new generation of horror fans reviewing it. The fight scene at the end was so epic. I was like this like watching a comic book movie. Everybody has a special gift.
The more elaborate dream sequences and the more charismatic Freddy is what sets Nightmare 3 apart from the first 2. It's also sets the formula for the remaining 80s Nightmares. I love it. Super cool effects, a larger roster of victims, the return of Nancy and starring future Oscar winner Patricia Arquette (2014's Boyhood). Gotta love a movie where the post-movie conversation is "Which was your favorite teen murder?" There was a NoES tv show in the 80s, as well...I barely remember it. Freddy only hosted it. So glad you guys watched this one...It's made me very nostalgic.

Nice video lads! Dream warriors is my favorite of the franchise aside from the first one. Loved your input and observations. This is one of my favorite channels for sure. You guys really bring us into the room and I feel as if I’m just hanging out with some friends watching a good film and having a scare and a laugh. Love the content fellas. 👏🏻
I really hope you guys check out the rest of the movies down the line. Technically there are only 5 more, if you count FVJ and don’t count the remake. Part 4 is my personal favorite and was the highest grossing one of the series until FVJ. It was the #1 movie in the U.S. for 3 weeks in 1988, and that was a huge deal. It’s also one of the first movies directed by Renny Harlin, who brought an amazing visual flair and pop sensibility to the series.
This movie was much better than the second one of course, but it wasn't as scary and serious and as dark as the first one. This one had excellent nightmare sequences and a lot of fun but unfortunately this is the movie that turned Freddy into the joker that he ended up being, with his jokes and one liners. So it kind of saved the franchise and ruined it at the same time. The fourth one is also very cool, and it has some of the best kills in the entire franchise, but it's more like an MTV movie, more fun and pop, but definitely worth watching. What you have to understand is that by then people was already familiarized with Freddy, he was everywhere, he was on MTV and on t-shirts, he really became an icon in pop culture, a rock star. And by the third movie Freddy had become the hero of the movies, people just wanted to see how crazy he could be and in which imaginative ways he would kill the victims, so the movies became more and more wild and fun, but they lost the dark evil essence of the first one.
Saw this film on the big screen with friends when I was 12. What a blast. Made a Freddy Kruger glove took it to school for part of an art display. The teachers made life hell. They banned me from all the end of year social events, even though I didn't drink or smoke, just did some 'weird' art.
To fully understand how Freddy keeps coming back you'd need to watch Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare. But in short the reason why they all keep dreaming about Freddy is because they keep hearing bits and pieces about him. And that ties into the way dreams work. Simply hearing about serial killer that uses a claw or is dressed in a certain way will ensure that you'll visualize how he would look in your mind. These images might bring up certain emotions or sensations that your brain processes at night in the form of dreams. To give a simple explanation. Lets say we all live in the same town but I'm the only way that knows about Freddy. Me knowing about Freddy ensures his existence because i keep him alive in my dreams. Now lets say i tell you something about the dreams I'm having then you'll start dreaming about Freddy and you tell someone else who then tells someone else and in that way he'll keep spreading like a virus. Technically in theory the only way you could truly get rid of Freddy would be to completely erase him from history and from the minds of very person that knows about him.
When watching this I suddenly realised I saw this movie as a kid and tried calling for help in my nightmares and it actually sometimes helped. Made a big impression apparently. Thank you for reminding me of this movie.
I watched all the Nightmare on Elm Street films when I had glandular fever years back. I woke up, fell out of bed coughing up bloody phlegm into a bucket and genuinely thought Freddy Krueger was coming to kill me. Was one of the strangest things I've ever experienced.

If you do friday 13th I would recommend part 4 the final chapter and part 7 the new blood, I think both have recap beginnings. 6, 7, and 8 have a new undead jason continuity and recaps most of 6 anyway. Jason is also more monstrous in part 7, literally...
I love the beginning of part 7 "Many have tried to stop him... No one can!, they say he's still down there, at the bottom of the lake... waiting...". Kane hodder nailed the iconic unstoppable menace about him.

This was my favorite of all the Elm St. films, love ur guys experiencing it. It's likely showing it to a friend for the first time 😃👍
17:18 is especially funny because the guy on the left, sorry I forget his name, looks like a more handsome version of Ron Weasley, lol.
The new nightmare is definitely one of my favorites in the series. You guys should definitely give it a watch!
I am so excited for the rest of your reactions to this franchise.
This sequel is one of my favorites glad to see a new generation of horror fans reviewing it. The fight scene at the end was so epic. I was like this like watching a comic book movie. Everybody has a special gift.
The girl in the beginning is Patricia Arquette you probably know her from movies such as True Romance,Uncle Buck,Ed Wood,Lost Highway,Nightwatch.
And dude from scream sister..
I still think you guys should do "Phantasm" while taking a break from the Nightmare series.
I love that series it's so good.
These reactions are hilarious. I recommend you guys watch the whole series just so I can see how you react to the rest of them 😂
The more elaborate dream sequences and the more charismatic Freddy is what sets Nightmare 3 apart from the first 2. It's also sets the formula for the remaining 80s Nightmares. I love it. Super cool effects, a larger roster of victims, the return of Nancy and starring future Oscar winner Patricia Arquette (2014's Boyhood).
Gotta love a movie where the post-movie conversation is "Which was your favorite teen murder?"
There was a NoES tv show in the 80s, as well...I barely remember it. Freddy only hosted it.
So glad you guys watched this one...It's made me very nostalgic.
Begging y’all to watch Part 4 and New Nightmare at the very least, because those I feel are two both have a lot of good things in them (especially New Nightmare).
The story n practical special effects really shine here let alone Laurence Fishburne is in it which rules
Love this one.
Another one you watch as a kid and have sleepless nights over.
THIS was my first experience of Freddy a "thousand years ago.". Loved him ever since. Thanks guys! Love ur reactions.
I remember taking mushrooms with my little brother, and we tried to watch Nightmare on Elm St 5...bad idea. About 40 mins in, we didnt know what the f was going on..switched it off and went outside for a walk instead lol
I saw this in the theaters in 1987 as a teen and it is an experience!
Glad you guys enjoyed it I highly recommend just watching new nightmare and calling it a day It's so brilliantly written. It's pure Wes craven.
7:25, I love stop motion animation! My sister enjoys it very much.
love you guys!
with shauns funny remarks and toms funny facial expressions 😂
I’m so happy I found this channel. You guys are awesome👍
Y'all are easily one of the funniest reactors on RUclips, nice job!
I thought Heather Langenkamp was so hot in this movie when it came out.
Saw this film on the big screen with friends when I was 12. What a blast. Made a Freddy Kruger glove took it to school for part of an art display. The teachers made life hell. They banned me from all the end of year social events, even though I didn't drink or smoke, just did some 'weird' art.
16:30, that was amazing how they pulled that off.
The dream heroes are the DREAM WARRIORS🤘🏾ROCK ON BRO🤘🏾
When watching this I suddenly realised I saw this movie as a kid and tried calling for help in my nightmares and it actually sometimes helped. Made a big impression apparently. Thank you for reminding me of this movie.
The 4th one is my favorite, didn't like 5 that much and 6 is straight up bad. New Nightmare was good again tho.
He's also my favorite, he's got the best kills for me.
I watched all the Nightmare on Elm Street films when I had glandular fever years back. I woke up, fell out of bed coughing up bloody phlegm into a bucket and genuinely thought Freddy Krueger was coming to kill me. Was one of the strangest things I've ever experienced.
I saw Buckaroo Banzai with a fever.
Wasn't sure what was going on. 😅
Please react to a nightmare on elm street 4 PLEASE!!!!!!!! 3 and 4 were and always will be my favorites
Hoping to see you come back to more Nightmare on Elm Street movies in the future! SUPER excited to see you doing more of the sequels of the movies you've watched previously though! Most excited about Scream, as the Scream franchise is easily my favorite! Honestly just liking whatever you do at this point!
1, 3, and Wes Craven's New Nightmare were the best. I remember seeing the 6th in the theater. Part of it was in 3D lol
I was looking forward to this one. An old fav of mine.
Loved the review as always lads. I watched this when I was 10 years old and was so disappointed how and when Taryn died. I always called the colour of green that Dream Warriors was typed in Tommyknocker Green lol
Can't wait for part 4 thats my favourite one
I’m so excited to watch this later!! I hope you do the EPIC Part 4 Dream Master - cheers guys
Yay!!! and Part 4 plz as well
I think I read somewhere that when the light comes on in the model at the end, it’s actually supposed to mean that Nancy was watching over Neil.
I would take a break. Especially before watching New Nightmare, because it’s so different from the others. Better to go into that one when Freddy is not as fresh in your mind.
Wes Craven's New Nightmare is very interesting. It presaged the meta/self-reflexive ideas that Scream did so well.
the one i like the most is the dreammaster. Its the one after is. there he gets really creative. all the other after arent good in my opinion!
Another doctor in this is Priscilla Pointer, she plays Sue Snell's mother in Carrie (1976). Not a big part, but she's Amy Irving's real life mother (Sue Snell in Carrie).
Awesome reaction guys, this is a fan favorite of the series.
That chair trick was the best videostart in youtube history!!
Excited for the halloween reactions!!!!
THIS is my favorite Nightmare movie behind the original! The effects are fantastic and very creative, Freddy’s makeup becomes more mature, there’s more character building. Just a fun sequel all around!
The first and the 4 th one are my favorites.
A little fun fact in terms of the series lore! Kristen's father is Lt. Parker, one of the cops that Nancy's dad worked with
My personal favourite sequel is A New Nightmare
1,3 and 7 are the best ones
@@bricenojose agreed but I also love part 2
