Congrats! Wish you the best! Two comments... (1) does that mean you have more leisure flying available to you now (to include more videos)? (2) Fuel prices and insurance are really hampering the GA sector, especially flight training. Hope something can be done about that.
Congrats! I just hope that after the rate of inflation and rising fuel prices you still actually end up with a raise, that and taxes... I understand the feeling of over a third of a paycheck going to fund Uncle Joe's failing policies. Thankfully it sounds like you and yours are doing quite well. Wish y'all the best. The haters don't understand the concept of hard work and earning something.
Congratulations 🍾 Greg. I hope you are enjoying your retirement!
Congrats Greg!
Congrats you earned it..👍🇺🇸
Greg, I always knew you put a lot of effort into making your videos, but never really grasped just how many cameras you have running during each flight. You channel is easily one of the most professional and informative aviation channels out there, and I greatly appreciate all the work you do.
Long time fan here. Just wanted to thank you for all the hard work and amazing content man!! We of the armchair pilot community salute you!!!
What Tom said! Wonderful.
Great video. I noticed that you use Best Tugs. I'm sure Mike Patey is happy for the plug, as if he needs one. Welcome to the west, although one state further you could had the Greatest Snow on Earth! Oh well, again, welcome to Utah, almost! ;)
@@timothyosborn1697 Isn't it Mark that runs Best Tugs? I know Mike is in it too.
ditto!
Tom. You said it...
God i love the internet...and the people who share their joy.... able to jump inside a $7 million jet and go for a fly across the states... thanks so much for sharing this
The wait for a P1D video is always worth it. 💯
"Fuel is EXPENSIVE!!!"
Thanks Brandon...
God those engines are screamers. Love it.
In these difficult times it's always good to have someone share their enjoyment of life.
Congratz Greg on your professional career. It must have felt awesome for another company to want to take yours to another level. I hope it also gives you a little more time to enjoy life outside of work instead of adding to it or even let you escape from it.. Either way, hope you continue to create the videos you do as flying is the fun part of it.
Greg you are. Most certainly the best Aviation channel on RUclips!! There's a lot more that goes into flying than people think. You make it look so easy but I know it's not as easy as you make it look. Thank you for sharing and by all means sir THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!
Greg Mink. Professional pilot with an ice-cold demeanour and rock-solid skills. Thousands of flight hours…
“Hey! I can see my house from here!” 😄
Never gets old… 😉
…waiting for a new video and you delivered Greg!
Greg, I feel like I'm sitting in the right seat with dad. Thanks.
Getting 390GM into the hangar was the best part of this video for me. Thanks Greg.
🌋Lost in the rockies sunset 🏜️ A good place to be💘
Been wondering where you have been
Greg….first-time viewer. I was really impressed with you. For being so wealthy you came across as a very easygoing, respectful, down-to-earth kind of guy. Your personality is so nice. The way you filmed, narrated, edited this video is very nice. I looked at your list of videos and selected many to watch. You really do get around. I also subscribed to your channel. Eagle, Colorado is neat but a recommendation is for you to come to my town of Joseph, Oregon. You would love it as it is just like the area around Telluride, Colorado. Would be nice to see you. Thanks for sharing.
Really appreciate your videos. I'm a PP since 1985. Lost my medical in 2005 so now all my flying is now in my simulator. I enjoy duplicating your flights in a Citation CJ4 on the sim.
Wow that looks like a lot of fun beautiful plane
Since you were flying/filming on July 3…. We were on I-80 right below you as you departed Gary… we spent the night on the Mississippi River before getting home [Nebraska] the 4th
Congratulations on the sale of your business. Enjoy your free time with family and friends and please do keep a seat free for us on future flights. I absolutely love your videos.
Thank you.
Definitely one of my favorite aviation channels, up there with Niko, Max and the Missionary Bush Pilot. ✌️
Where have you been? Hope you are doing well sir! Thanks…Ryan (Joliet, IL)
Beautiful! Thank you Mr. Mink. P.S. Best Tug- Mike Patey is smiling.
My favourite channel on RUclips. Thanks for taking us along P1D 🤙
Much appreciated
Thank You Greg !🤗
Missing your normal headset? Good to see you again. Update: I made that comment before I watched the whole video where he explained it's damaged.
As you broke out at 29:00 and said beautiful you read my mind. Thanks for the great videos.
Sir, as an old helicopter gunner, I really enjoy your videos! Keep the rubber side down and I'll fly with you!
All those cockpit cameras made for a great flight from the right seat.
Hey just wanted to say that I have been following you for about a year now and I so appreciate what you do! My son is an F-35 pilot and when we get the opportunity we watch you and he loves you to, even though your an ex F-16 pilot 😂😂 Thanks again!
I appreciate the opportunity you received for your long and hard efforts into growing your company. Congrats! Keep your fingers in it. Make sure your brand is treated right. Other than that, enjoy your well deserved diminished schedule but we'll miss the reduced video opportunities. Love flying with you!
P!D -- We're all glad your business situations are working-out great for you! The Lord provides for generous and compassionate folk.
I've been told I'm retired, but I manage to stay very busy. Between taking my car to tracks, car shows, working on my side business creating parts for sports cars, consulting & engineering. And going to Dr appointments. I have very little time to goof off. :)
Smooth as silk Experience makes it look easy
Great action. After 54 years of flying I'm calling it a day but its great to know I can enjoy being your 1st Officer! Many Thanks from UK
Wow, we're not too far from you guys. Welcome to the Valley :-)
Thank you for allowing us to fly with you ✈️✈️👍👍
You have worked hard put your time in, now to enjoy the fruits of your labors
Good morning Greg, so good to see you on my screen.
Thanks, Greg, you are a wonderful person to share this flight with you. I very much enjoyed it. God bless you
“Let’s get this party started “ my exact thoughts when I saw the new video released. Great job Greg!
Picture definition seems up a notch or two. Those skies… stunning.
Still my favorite !! Thank you,,
I used to work in CO having to travel into all counties and Eagle County is one of my favorite memories. Thanks for the ride, now retired and enjoy your work!
Awesome video man, looking forward to the next one!
Thanks for taking us along. I always love the sunset over the Rockies.
Hi..I have been watching your channel 2 years..Outstanding video content...Best of luck on your journey...USAF retired 21 years...17 years with Kalitta Air..now retired..Enjoy your week...
Love your sharing your beautiful jet with us.. Not likely i will ever even get to see one of these let alone ride with you..Thanks
This is magical. Thank you so much for letting us share in your flying and your success. Your aviation and production skills are unparalleled in my book. Just a former 340 hour instrument instructed (unrated) private/complex pilot who went through an entire ground school up through ATP who ran out of money--when there was a glut of pilots and you couldn't even buy a job. Today's aviation world is 180 degrees from what I was facing in the late 1980's. Now that I'm too old, we are running out of pilots. This vicarious experience is very valuable to us old guys.
Yep. Same story with less ratings.
ditto, wish that I could go back, but 77 years old now !!!
No worries of Karma with Greg the pro. Referencing John Denver while flying. LOL. Thank you for the video.
Congrats Greg on your retirement, Com’on up to Ponte Vedra Beach anytime and we can head over to Jacks NAS.
Good to see you posting video it has been a bit since you last one
Greg! Always enjoy this channel. Out of all the wonderful qualities you possess, you always manage to crack me up with your great sense of humor!
Flying with you into EAGLE never gets old, winter or summer, I'm there watching the Beautiful Scenery... Thanks P1D Makes My Day.
Greased that landing!!!! Absolute Butter!!!! Congrats on the changes!! Retired did i read in comments??? No No No we need more flying vids for those that cant get into the Blue Beyond and are gravitationally challenged !! Up Up and Away Golf Mike!!
Happy to hear about your recent changes. Grateful to have viewed your content. Sure will miss ya. Best wishes!
Seen the notification had to come check it out
I'm glad you know when to use music, and (mostly) the volume. THANKS. Those that drown out the turbofans (and ATC)...blasphemy.
Sounds like partial retirement to me.... (-: Very happy for you! You deserve it. Good luck in the future, Greg, from a lowly Archer pilot in Tucson.
Super Congratulations Greg! Well earned and deserved! All the Best to You and Family! See You for a cup of coffee one of these days @ APF. 🙂
Greg, one of your best in the continuing series of great videos...sunset was outstanding as was your professional approach...congrats on the "professional change" enjoy and thanks for the ride along as always!!
I see what you did there at the end. Nice plug for Best Tugs! And on the price of gas in Gary, be glad you didn't buy gas at Boston Logan again. I saved that image on your video of you paying $3069.04 for 250 gallons of Jet A and made a meme out of it. CONGRATS on the career change.
appreciate you taking us along Greg
Greg nice to see you. Been a quiet summer without you. Travel safe
Hello long time no see thank you for sharing Tim from Maryland
Congratulations from your favorite retired 20390 MSgt!! Enjoy life!!! 😄 😂
Good to be with you again greg.
Must have just missed you, took the guys up from central Missouri into Chi International for a golf trip. Safe travels Greg!
Wondered why there wasn't so many new videos from you. Enjoy your time 'off' .... Hope the family and you are doing well. Take care - Be safe.
Greg that flight was spectacular !!! To fly that every day is like winning the lottery !!! I'm in Cedar Lake Indiana 29 miles from Gary Airport .
The bird activity on takeoff was crazy. Reminded me of the story of one of the contributing writers to Flying magazine(Dick Karl) who suffered a Pelican strike in a newly purchased Premier 1 that totaled the aircraft. He was flying at about 265 knots around FL 240 and the damage was incredible, but it was quite a testament to the build quality of the aircraft. Safe travels and congrats on the success that your hard work has afforded you Greg.
Cool stuff. Pretty sure that bird at the 731-ish mark didn't fair too well. Noticeable thump.
P1D withdrawal addressed.
Congrats Greg on the new direction > thx for the content > as most are in agreement by a quick glance of the comments, a top notch Av Channel indeed👍
Always a Pleasure! Thank you. Now I can Start my Saturday.
thanks Greg.
Congrats on the ease of workload. Retirement perhaps? None the less, enjoy.
@Premier 1 Driver For a just in case thing you might want to give your aircraft a once over on the port side. At 7:30 into the video it looks like a bird gets really close to the port side. Close enough for ingestion/bird strike.
That Sunset was awesome! Best place to view one from too!
As always Greg, many thanks for letting us ride in the right seat (in spirit); I am nudging 78 years young and my flying days a long time ago, however, flying is in my DNA.
Greetings from OZ
Beautiful flight Greg. Good to see you again, and congratulations on the moves, professional and personal. Thanks for taking us along on the ride.
Totally enjoyed this flight, Especially the sunset. When you were chatting about your headset and other things, it was almost as if I was sitting there and could ask a question right back. 🛩👍
Ah, my favorite flight channel. Congrats on semi-retirement?
what an insanely satisfying buttery smooth landing
One of the things I love most about flying is the beauty of golden-colored clouds around sunset, and this video had them galore. Thanks Greg!
This has got to be the most relaxing and entertaining video out there on RUclips, Thanks Greg.
Greg thanks you for adding to your work load for all of us.
What a way to start the weekend. Thanks for the beautiful ride, Greg!
Thanks for the ride a long, Captain Gregg!
Congratulations on your positive lifestyle upgrades! Always enjoy the videos.
Big fan here, Love the Jet and the fact you served our country as an F-16 Pilot. I remember as a kid at the LA fair grounds in the late 80s I got to sit in a F-16 and from there I was hooked but just didn't follow that dream. I became a Marine infantryman instead. But always loved the air guys. God speed and keep the vids coming. Love them.
Always a blast when a new Greg video arrives!
Glak to be in the right hand seat again. Beautiful approach to Eagle. Thanks for taking us along. And yeah, fuel is indeed crazy.
Went camping near Eagle a few days ago. Afternoon showers and then nice.
Another great video, I wondered why your videos slowed down, thought maybe you were very busy running the company, but I guess now your videos will be long coming. I've always looked forward too seeing your videos weekly or there abouts, now saddened that will no longer be...
From a puddle jumper pilot here in the UK thanks again for another informative video, always interesting. Now you know what us C150/PA28 pilots have to put up with putting your own aircraft away! Dont expect with your hangar fellows you will have any hangar rash to put up with though!
THANKS FOR THE GREAT FLIGHT.
Thanks for the ride bro.
Beautiful flight very clean tight fit in your hangar thanks!! Take Care!!
Love the ending on this one.
