You inspired me to get back into flying a couple of years ago after a 14 yr absence. Thank you!! I am now a Mission/Orientation Pilot with the Civil Air Patrol. Thank you again!!!
Would be great if you could do some content on what it involves to care for this bird and how you keep it operationally ready, how the on the ground support works to keep it maintained, batteries charged between flights and all that tech stuff.
@@bradleycrenshaw6778 Yeah, he does but I doubt he actually does the maintenance himself. The airport he is based out of likely has maintenance companies on hand to do routine maintenance on people's private aircraft.
Hi Greg, long time since we’ve seen ya in the left seat. Thanks for posting another excellent video, and some spectacular scenery. The more information the better. I thoroughly enjoy you explaining the technical aspects of the aircraft. Thanks for posting… Your Scottish interpreter John
I've called DFW home for almost thirty years. KDAL 31L/R approaches are often spectacular, especially at night, sitting in the left windows. Always love seeing it in your videos with the familiar landmarks from above. Thanks, P1D!
just thinking about ya the other day wondered how you were doing. missed your video's. glad to see your still putting them out. just wished you had them more often. missed the right seat for a bit. glad to be back in there.
I heard that response to the landing; sometimes we surprise ourselves. Always enjoy catching an open right seat and a perfect landing and especially for this video. Keep up the fine work.
Having traversed DFW twice a week, as a passenger on AA, I flew over DAL many times coming in or flying to ATL. It was very interesting to watch the few seconds flying over DAL and the construction happening there. The line up for departure was insane. Great video as always!
Just starting the video, but I've been, as a soon to be 62 year old man, loving the dad/old man beard you have had for a while. When I let mine grow it's all grey as well. Love it. Safe travels! Just finished the video, love the scenery! I'm a mountain person from upstate NY. I feel bad for the controller at Eagle, dang he was very busy, shorthanded?
oh Wow 😳 So good to see you, Greg! How was your Easter 🕊️ Holiday? Do you & your lovely Wife "partake?"🖐️✝️⛪🕊️...I had lovely weekend with my Son & Daughter in love and Grands! And Soccer in between ⚽...lol...now today, I'm playing "catch up" with house 🏡 chores...and all the sudden, here comes a Premier 1 Driver Notification😮....so, I'm now "multi-tasking!"😁😉....from the Audio, sounds like a warm Greeting from ATC for you, in Colorado😉❤️ ....and I'm with you, on "lovin' Colorado" in "off Ski ⛷️🎿 Season!" Summer is nice out there in Aspen 🛫🗻....Good to see ya & you and your Family have an AWESOME weekend ❤️
Watching your videos over time, your camera angles keep getting better and better, how you switch between scenes combined with your narrative truly keep the viewers interest and is nicely informative, especially someone like me with low flying hours. I feel like I'm sitting right next to you on the flight deck, I think that's the effect you not only try to achieve but do achieve. Aviation enthusiast truly appreciate all your effort & time to bring us incredible flights. Your landing was smooth as butter on this one. You have a beautiful jet. Thanks Greg !
Nice scenic flight. I flew my RV6 into Eagle last summer when the sky was clear but vis was low due to fires out west. I parked at Vail Jet Center right near a privately owned Boeing 757 that had flown non stop from Dubai. Line boy sad they had two crews on board. How the Uber wealthy live!
Hey Greg, Dallas Love Clearance gave you reroute to Eagle incl. a western Colorado waypoint, DVC. Google Earth shows it as an 80 ft cylinderical structure surrounded by hard pack gravel and a wooden fence. A few antenna are indicated by cast shadows. The structure is surrounded by miles of winter wheat and a few alphabet roads. If you use the lat/longitude given for DVC you'll see for yourself. What say you, P1D? Smooth as Silk landing! Thanks for being so inclusive.
The waypoint DVC is located at 37° 48' 32N 108° 55' 53W. It is a GPS point that extends from the surface straight up. This is also the location of a Very High Frequency Omni-Directional Range (VOR) transmitter used by aircraft for navigation and approaches. Not all waypoints are associated with a VOR, if this helps...
@@jamese.johnson9597 That's awesome! I never knew about the Minimum Operational Network part of that. I know they want to do away with VOR's--didn't know the specifics of how they were doing this. I learn something new on RUclips every day...thanks, Sir!
Hi Greg, long time viewer here, been away for awhile. First - another great vid, never get tired of the Rockies, hope you get back to TEX someday. Second, THANK YOU for not doing the 'accelerated super-fast time lapse of the flight' until final approach, with sucky music background. I've stopped following several big pilot video guys because of that. The way you edit is just right; a shortened in-flight segment coupled with an accelerated after-landing segment of the taxi portion. Kudos!
This brings back memories going into KEGE in the 757. I am really liking your videos, makes me feel like I am flying again. Your jet is a beauty, I just am amazed at the avionics in the GA aircraft now. Probably equal if not more advanced than airline flight decks, though I still love the 747 and 787. Great videos!
Great flight, Greg. Thanks! I'm on the north side, as well. Give me a shout if you want to fly the valleys in a Bonanza or P-Baron. I'm in the old maintenance hanger.
That landing was so smooth my recliner didn’t even move!
I didn't spill my coffee either.
My cat slept right through it.
Steveo would have lost on that landing
@@jameschristiansson3137 So did mine! Wait, she did wake up enough to yawn, then she went back to sleep!
I thought he was just flying down the runway instead of landing.
Dang brother where have you been. I think I speak for all of us... we missed you.
My goodness that Eagle tower controller was busy! Poor guy needed two more up there with him today. Nice video Greg

Would be great if you could do some content on what it involves to care for this bird and how you keep it operationally ready, how the on the ground support works to keep it maintained, batteries charged between flights and all that tech stuff.
That would likely require the company that maintains the aircraft to start their own RUclips channel.
@@skuzlebut82 I believe that its his plane and he owns the company that owns the plane, if that makes sense.

Holy smokes, he's back!!!
Perfect causal video of a channel I keep forgetting I'm subscribed to!
I live in Kremmling, love that you flew over!
Watch tomorrow’s video 😀
Good to have ya back, love the sound of the engines lighting off.
Thanks Premier1Driver. I was away for a while. It is a pleasure to ride with you again. Take care. Bob Clearwater
I half expected Glideslope Guy to say, "Yeah, baby!" after that touchdown.

28:45 “oh hohohohoho”. Nothing like greasing the landing 😜
Don't know how anyone can get bored of the vistas up there.

What a landing. Looked and sounded perfect.

Hello P1D. Nice to be in the right seat again….👍

Smoooooooth. I wish I I could give the amount of likes for the landing it was...
Nice ride and a sweet landing thanks for the ride Greg.
That shot of DFW was pretty cool. I have flown in and out and my sister is a flight attendant with AA based at DFW. Never seen the view
Sweet landing Greg. Sounded like ATC routed you fairly west of EGE.
