    I know you get a lot of feedback about this and that but wanted to tell you why I am thankful for your video's. I am not a frequent flier and was always a little fearful of flying but did it anyway. If I had to put my finger on the reason it would be that I just had no idea what was really going on in the cockpit and that feeling of the unknown made me nervous. After watching your videos that fear seems to be gone. I had a trip to San Fran a few weeks ago and was completely relaxed because I knew what was going on up there, the process, the automation and the general in's and outs of the flight. So I thank you for taking the time to put these together (I know it takes a lot of time) and wanted to let you know the videos have helped me a great deal. Thank you and will keep watching the video's.

      I feel exactly the same way when flying, I rarely fly. The next time I will feel much more comfortable knowing what is going on in the cockpit. Greg does a stellar job on his videos!!

    You were right... That Mooney is spectacular. Normally, a painter's plane never gets painted but I love most shades of blue on an aircraft. The panel tech is exceptional as well and an exceptional use of al available panel space too. Thanks for sharing the video of the Mooney too.

    The new paint sure sleeks up the plane. it looks fast, even on the ground. The Mooney upgraded panel is fantastic ... the envy of any pilot, especially a single engine prop pilot! Thanks for the flight.

  • @niceguy2171
    @niceguy2171 6 лет назад +2

    To bad it wasn't a sunny day to pick up the plane, or at least a clear 1, having to fly through rain and then icing, certainly put their paint job to the test! And that Mooney has probably the most technological cockpit of any single engine I've seen yet, to think my trainer back in the day barely had the '4-pack' of analog gauges, and we did everything by charts..yes I'm showing my age a bit. But as a electronics buff I loved that kind of integration and ease of use technology. Plus they did a beautiful job in both the interior and exterior of that lightweight plane.

    Had a friend with a Mooney, and it was relatively new with only 2800 hours on it, but it looked like a piece of Junk compared to your friends. Wow! Love you shows, been watching for years but had not seen this one. Go Air Force! My Father-in-law was in the AF 42-76, Senior Msgt. We Were always told he was in heavy ground radio and radar, I found out later from a Colonel on Reagan's WH staff, that he was likely a "Spook". He worked for General Curtis Lemay from '44 until Lemay retired, and loved every minute of it. He had a red phone by his bed and a "go bag" on the door I asked his wife what he did when the phone ring, she said "Yes sir, ...Yes sir, ... right away sir." She said 2 minutes later an AF Staff car would p[ull in the driveway and she wouldn't see him for 2-6 weeks. Never talked about anything about who what when or where. My main interest is in your medical business, I spent 50+ years as a therapist and later an VP of operations. Just curious?

    That Mooney was outstanding and much more within my budget. I can't afford a Premier 1A that's for sure. Thanks for your videos. They are always instructive and encouraging. I always enjoy the pilots who do the long form videos. The short ones for just takeoffs and landings are not as "complete" as I like in a video. You just cut out the boring level cruise that doesn't really change much. I'm sure the Premier is a lot of fun to fly, but I like to watch your long form videos just to "ride-along." If I can't have one I will live vicariously through your videos. Thanks, again.

    Greg, As another commenter stated, I know you get a lot of feedback and such but I too wanted you to know why I enjoy your vids do much. I can no longer pilot as i had a stroke in 2012 that has me grounded and un-medically certifiable so it's nice to get to watch you fly. It was always a passion of mine bu I couldn't afford it as I didn't come from much money and put everything I had into my own contracting business...needless to say, everything was put back into the business to keep it going and the crews going. I was hoping to be able to grow it to being successful enough to then be able to get my wings, but the stroke hit me at 51...anyway, thanks for what you are doing! I truly appreciate it! I follow you, steveo1, 310 pilot, baron pilot and living the corporate pilot life...you guys all keep me livin the dream! :)

You can go 500sm in a little over 3.5 hrs depending on winds. This is an awesome video Mr. Greg!! I don't want this to come off the wrong way, because I would NEVER want to see you get hurt or damage the airplane, but I think seeing you in real emergency conditions would be fascinating. I guess it's because you are ex-AF but your calm, cool demeanor never seems to crack. I have a feeling you'd stay just as cool and calm with both engines out, or birdstrike windshield smash, or half a wing gone... that rock solid confidence is what keeps airmen safe in situations where most people would lock up with fear.

    Tuba City - oh the memories. We stayed there once. Lots of dirt, tumbleweeds and 3 legged dogs. AZ does NOT observe Daylight Savings time but the Navajo Nation does. We stayed at a hotel operated by the Navajo nation so after touring around the city we returned to the Hotel to have supper at the restaurant only to find out it closed in 15 minutes (because the hotel was Navajo Nation and was on daylight savings.) So we went back to the comminuty (it's not really a city...) to look for a restaurant
