I am a senior in a care center and my grandson bought me an iPad and showed me how to watch utube. I get a kick out of watching take off and landings. You have a new fan.
Thank you sir for this great series. I've been watching your presentations now for several months and doing so has given this 90-year-old former flight instructor a chance to "go flying" again. It has been great therapy for an old guy who spends many alone hours at home. It is fascinating for me to see the advances in avionics and GPS navigation options but still note that with all the changes, the stick and rudder basics still apply. The more things change, the more they stay the same. My ratings were single/multi land, Instrument, CFI with the instrument.
I love how you teach us what you are doing rather than just making a video. I absolutely enjoy them. Reminds me of when I took lessons many years ago. Now I want to go back and finish, but now I believe I am to old lol, so I am using Sim once again. Thank you for getting me interested in flying again. Your teaching has really helped me during this COVID19 lockdown. Again thank you so much for all you do for us.
Greg I have to say that the forward facing cameras are so awesome, It makes me feel like I am actually flying, thanks so much again. I have no way to fly anymore, thanks to you I am. thanks.
So much respect for this gentlemen. Served his country, amazing pilot. Would love nothing more than to sit and talk aviation with him while I finish flight school
That landing threw some tricky wind gusts at you at the last moments but you handle them like the professional you are!!! I always love your videos Greg! I am allowed to be Living my dreams through your eyes and cameras and I thank you sir!!!
Different life! You do it the fast way. I did it on a submarine. If you don’t know that is where all submarines on the east coast do our torpedo qualifications. Took us two weeks to transit from Groton Ct. Thanks for the ride! 28 years going three knots to no where makes on a 18,600 ton submarine makes for a slower lifestyle. Great videos.
Enjoy riding along with you in the Premier, especially with your outstanding airmanship. I'm at the age that I no longer fly real world, but continue to be an avid sim pilot in a home simulator, flying a variety of aircraft from GA to heavies. As the son of an AF bomber pilot, aviation entered my blood at an early age. Vision kept me from following Dad's footsteps, but not out of the cockpit. Blue skies!
Greg, Thank's so much for providing us these glimpse's into your life as an accomplished aviator. I am an avid viewer of your RUclips channel and it's always exciting to see when you have posted a new video. I enjoy all aspect's of your videos, even the mundane preflight stuff. Watching you prepare youre jet for flight never gets old. A physical disability prevents me from experiencing many aspects of life but watching your videos really is the next best thing. Thanks Greg, please keep them coming!
Lol! Its the mundane preflight stuff and the preparation that I seem to enjoy the most. I even get my scrap paper ready to copy his IFR clearances (getting good in that with several rewinds. Ha ha!)
Thank you for allowing me to ride along in the "right seat". As you mentioned to me before, the left seat is the best seat in the house. Havana ATC was a treat to listen to. I truly enjoy your videos and will continue to ride along. Thanks again.
P1D. Just had another look at the landing at Marathon. I always moan about the wind when mooring up our boat. I will keep quiet in future. Well done. A top class landing!. Many thanks for the video. I can understand that it is quite a job editing and uploading etc on top of the normal day job. The extra window inserts worked well and were very much appreciated. Regards, David.
Hi Greg, love your Videos , have watched them so much I am 83 years young and back a good while ago in 1964 got my private ticket and had 400 and some hours as Pilot in Command just loved flying and i am not at this time current , I love just looking at flying Video like yours, I am retired from the US Navy Seabee’s as a Master Chief , Thanks for all your Videos keep them coming . Bill Hamby.
I thank you for all of these videos you put out. I live my passion for aviation thru your videos as my actual dreams of flying will most likely never happen, so I thank you sincerely for your content. Thank you Mr mink
thanks for your wonderful videos! I watch em on repeat in the recording studio in the background. thanks very much for taking the time to make them. regards Tom
Another great video ! Watch one every morning ! Thank You P1D !!! Love The Porsche Atlanta Video as well ! Been at the Atlanta facility and a Porsche fan for decades... ! Best, Uncle Rudy
Thanks for another great video. I really enjoy watching them. I think I have watched most of them. Being able to listen in on all the comm during the flight is great. I do miss seeing the one camera angle (on your left side) that you made in earlier flights where we could see a close up of the main glass instrument panel. I'll be looking forward to the next flight that you share with us.
I tried to get that one but that camera never ran even though it looked like it did. You'll see it again on future videos. Good news, Gopro has just sent me all new cameras. They like my videos and saw I was having issues. Next video will be all new equipment courtesy of GoPro!
Premier 1 Driver Thanks for your reply. The extra video window added to the overall view. Nice intro also. Looking forward to future videos with the new camera's.
Great video as usual captain Greg sir. Love your shots and your airmanship. Such a really PROFESSIONAL pilot!!! Keep it up. And as usual PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE....let us enjoy from before opening the door of the premier, til the moment you shut off and live. Meaning, maintanance, loading etc. Thanks!!!
Good morning P1D!!! Great landing!! You stayed so calm. I was surprised at the amount you turned the stick to control your landing. Glad to hear you were getting new cameras! Thanks for another great video!! safe travels!!!! Rodger
Great video as usual. I was impressed by the Cuban controllers, they seem to have a professional quality in handling US aircraft. maybe some day we'll be able to land there without a problem. Thanks for the ride, I went with you on the outbound and back on the inbound. It feels like I've been there. Keep up the good work.
I wish we were getting a video now and then. It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything. But back to your comment he would probably have said “ I’ve answered all the questions” I hope everything is okay with P1D 😎
Yet another great video! Still enjoying all your videos. There's nothing about your videos that I don't like. I've told quite a few people that I know to get on YT & look at your stuff on here. I've become a big fan of yours. Since i'm a student-pilot & haven't been able to fly since 2014, your videos allow me to get a glimpse of what it's like to fly a private jet (which I dream of). Keep 'em coming, Greg! I look forward to more of your videos! Clear blue skies & safe flights!
And like a few others commented on here, yes, I noticed a few things that some of us haven't seen before, with this video. Your wife on camera, (Hi, Mrs. Mink!) the checklists, your narratives about how to clear customs & what it takes to fly in that area/region. I enjoyed watching this new one, from start to finish, just like all the rest of yours. I must add, though, I do enjoy the length of your videos, whether they are 15 minutes or 1 hour & half. Like I mentioned, your videos are just great all-around. Every one of yours that I've seen, my eyes were glued to my tv the whole time! Awesome stuff, Greg!
This 82 year old non-pilot likes your videos a lot, no barking doggie this time - we saw the SR-71 over Sawyer AFB near Gwinn, Mi. in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
Those last few feet of final there at Marathon kinda' tightened me up from here in my in my recliner!! I was flipped up to knife edge at about 325-ft. AGL in a Cessna 150 on take-off several years ago. It didn't scare me at the moment but my knees where so shaky I could barely stand up when I got back on the ground!! Thanks for another flight. Regards, Ernie
Just got back from our Vegas to Tampa & Tampa back to Vegas. On the Southwest airlines bus. Thanks to watching and learning from your video's am not as nervous flying...Thanks
I really like your videos. They are very informative and helpful. Keep on making them. Will share your videos on social media with my aviation friends.
Great video man, I truly believe you have the best channel going and it is always a good day at work when you put a new video out. I am a pilot too and watching your videos are good motivation to keep moving forward with my training...Any chance you could possibly do a wing view cam? I know one of your cockpit cams catch part of the wing now, but would be cool to see entire wing view/flaps configs after take off/before landing...Keep videos coming, appreciate everything you do!
P1D that was a literal turn and burn out of GCM, You must have felt like you were in your F-16 again. I obviously respect that your son has different interests, but I cant believe he doesn't choose to ride right seat with you. If you ever are in Boston I would love to be your co-pilot. Thank you for another fantastic video.
Great videos P1D. Saw your Phonak headset in the last video and decided to try one. It was delivered today and I will be trying it out tomorrow in my Mooney. Fly safe.
Hi, this is Abdullah, your long distance follower all the way from Saudi Arabia..I just wanted to thank for all these amazing videos where you make us your co-pilots and just wondered why isn't there any one from your respected family/ passengers take the co-pilot seat? P.S. As an IUPUI 2004 alumni every time your back to Indy, just reminds me of the great Indiana days. 😍
Wind really bucks up on you at 1:09:40 right about when you cross the threshold but as usual you handle it like a pro. Sounds like it got your wife's attention. Good job Greg and I lurk daily on RUclips waiting for your next video. Keep 'em coming.
"everything ok?" LOL, nervous flyer myself so I get it. Really enjoyed the multi-cam to the takeoff and landing sequences, nice touch and gives a cool perspective. another great video P1D!
Hope you and the family spent some time fishing in Marathon. Best fishing in the country for both inshore and deep sea fishing. Appreciate your posting the videos and your attention to the quality.
Greg, you realize your videos are addicting, right ? I'm not alone in this, your viewer count confirms it. My wife hinted that a 12-step program may help me, but I missed everything else she said, because I was in the middle of watching your Dallas trip. I later told her that rehab is only for quitters anyway. Needless to say, love your videos and thank you so much for sharing. I always feel I pick up something, that makes me a better, safer pilot.
Love you videos! And like others have said thank you for making them! You make me wish things would've worked out differently in life and could have been a pilot instead of a mechanic. Would give about anyting to go somewere right seat with you, Keep up the awesome videos. I live in the RSW area and like the scenery.
Hey! Great journey for us the viewers once again. Thanks for the video. I assume GoPro must have read one of my comments recommending a Garmin VirbX camera for the cockpit below one of your videos. Nice catch for them to correct the weird malfunctions on their part. Hope to see the new stuff pretty soon. Stay safe man.
Really miss PFD displays. Looking forward to new GOPROs. Great job on gusts. They sure ad to pucker factors. Love to see new car when you get a chance. Thanks again for vids.
I wonder how much cheaper just going commercial would have been however I’ll never have the problem of weighing the options 😊. Stumbled on your videos I never had an interest in aviation prior to that very fun to watch thank you for posting and sharing-
I went to the multi-screens on this one because I know a lot of people watch the videos on big screen. Did you like seeing the split screens or should I not mess with it?
I've been anxiously waiting for you to post this flight. Another fantastic video P1D! Looks like you really had your hands full on that approach. Thanks again for letting us fly with you! Where are we going next?
Love your videos, sir! I'm a student pilot at Indy Exec studying for my private. I've been hoping to see you out there, but haven't as of yet. Saw your aircraft getting gassed up the other day...will definitely introduce myself if our paths cross. Cheers!
As an 82 yr old x private pilot with IFR and night endorsement . My plane was a Cessna Cardinal good for IFR but with no auto pilot The first IFR flight was from YXU TO YUL at night in rain at 9000 The approach was pitch black in heavy rain onto a cat lll runway with a little over 100 ft ceiling with lots of water on the runway. That was the last time that happened.
That runway always has that wind shear. I came in there in a 172 in March and it was the same thing. Never experienced gusts like that until that day and almost had to do a go around. It was a calm day other than that but even the lady inside said there are always wind gusts on the end of that runway.
Just want to say Greg as always much appreciated for the time you put into these videos. Those cameras must be frustrating, and I (and RUclips world) hope you never get to the point where you want to chuck it in.
Because my Session camera locked up on me and never filmed a thing despite giving the appearance it was operating properly. The good news is GoPro sent me a bunch of new cameras for free so I'm hoping my camera problems are history.
Garmin Virb is a much better alternative. Even has little widgets similar to the instruments, you can add to your video noting speed, pitch, bank angle and even altitude.
You make me want to be a jet pilot. It seems like you have complete autonomy of where and when you want to go with the capability of your airplane. What an amazing feeling that must be. When was the last time you flew commercial?
I am a senior in a care center and my grandson bought me an iPad and showed me how to watch utube. I get a kick out of watching take off and landings. You have a new fan.

Some great work there, Greg. Being a former pilot (single engine land), I greatly appreciate your work and great videos. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Chuck!
Great job with the semi-full flight length videos. I imagine it's a lot of work with editing them too. Appreciate it.
I so enjoyed the feeling, riding along in the right seat. You captured the essence with no music which makes it extremely realistic!

I like that part too.
P1D..You handled the gust..LIKE A BOSS !!
As I've said before, it's all in the editing. :-)
Lol. Great vid.

Great. Appreciate the feedback. I wondered if people would enjoy those views.

Thanks Richard. I thought the Cuban guy was quite good on this leg.
Nice PIREP there at the end, great sign of all around airmanship. I am sure the TBM driver appreciated the info.
I really enjoy your videos! You put a lot of time and effort into them I'm sure. Thank you for your efforts!!!
Watching this video from five years ago, one thing I noticed right away is that you answered many more questions then than you do now.
I wish we were getting a video now and then. It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything. But back to your comment he would probably have said “ I’ve answered all the questions” I hope everything is okay with P1D 😎

Nice job maintaining directional control with that gust just before touchdown. :-)
Greg: Thanks for the invite to join in on this flight. As always, an excellent lesson. Sorry that the PFD camera failed. See you next time.

Thanks for watching the airplane porn Randy!
it's amazing how quick it get airborne

Fantastic video, love the way you worked that approach on late final, I think you made those gusts look easy

I watched this vids on my 55" 4K SONY, just like being in the right seat, I almost grabbed the throttle so you could handle the gusts! Thanx!
I went to the multi-screens on this one because I know a lot of people watch the videos on big screen. Did you like seeing the split screens or should I not mess with it?
Premier 1 Driver I thought the split screens were awesome! I've gotta try watching on my big screen, that's a cool idea.
Again, nice flight . Enjoyed it.
Thanks Frank!
Nice job with the gusts. Thanks for the great videos!
Thanks Greg..For another great video.Hope you can make it up here to Seattle (KSEA) one day.God Speed!
Beautiful landing!!!
I've been anxiously waiting for you to post this flight. Another fantastic video P1D! Looks like you really had your hands full on that approach. Thanks again for letting us fly with you! Where are we going next?
Not sure. I have a few ideas though.
Hey it’s the Beck family enjoying a little RR after all the harvesting has wowed down. :) The Cayman Islands sure beat Indiana in February.
I love watching your uploads, thanks for sharing, must take ages to edit everything
I enjoy all your videos from non-pilot just a flight sim pilot
Thanks!
I liked it when you "spiked" the camera while taxiing out :-)
Love your videos, sir! I'm a student pilot at Indy Exec studying for my private. I've been hoping to see you out there, but haven't as of yet. Saw your aircraft getting gassed up the other day...will definitely introduce myself if our paths cross. Cheers!

Just want to say Greg as always much appreciated for the time you put into these videos. Those cameras must be frustrating, and I (and RUclips world) hope you never get to the point where you want to chuck it in.
Gopro sent me a bunch of new cameras for free. So I'm hoping that takes care of my issues. Next video will be all new cameras.
Question: Why aren't your showing the flight instruments any longer? I'm an old KingAir driver and enjoy seeing all the new avionics. Thanks.
One of your best vids yet. Thanks!!!!
I love your videos and I learn a lot from them. Thank you.
You make me want to be a jet pilot. It seems like you have complete autonomy of where and when you want to go with the capability of your airplane. What an amazing feeling that must be. When was the last time you flew commercial?
HECK YEAH! Been looking forward to more videos. Very instructional instrument stuff.
Excellent flight.
