Man i hate the clouds , its like driving a top fuel dragster on a foggy night , with 5 ft of vision during dear season, thank God for that radio and computers
Just started watching your videos this month. Have to say from pilot cockpit load this has been the most impressive of all the video I have watched yet.
Your are very lucky to be able to pilot your very own jet, thank you so much for sharing that amazing experience with us. I love your videos. Best regards and happy 2016 from a 777 driver based in Dubai.
Jeez-Greg one hell of a job! That’s like watching a Harrison Ford movie-I’ll kick back and watch it again with beer and popcorn. I love your line, “you guys want to do that again.” Your excellent camera capture made me feel as if I was riding along side-pucker fears and all. Thanks so much for sharing…fly safe ace.
In my mind, your best video yet! Fantastic job on the ILS approach. From all of your subscribers, THANK YOU for bringing us along on your trips! We all know how much work goes into making these videos and greatly appreciate the hard work!
Another great video! Thanks for taking the time and effort to do these Greg. They are both entertaining and educational. It is great to see the dialog and discussion in the comments as well. I'll be driving my special vehicle today and tomorrow - a Rose Parade Float. Wish you and yours and everyone reading here the best for 2016.
The continuous display of your PFD , and ATC conversations are great for those of us who are trying to Garmin stuff from steam gages! Thanks Greg, have ever missed one of your videos or 310Pilot. Keep the grease side down! Piper1
I really liked the dash shots showing the altitude / speed / heading, etc. That's what made this video so interesting. Seeing how things come together.
That is an excellent job putting the links for the departures and arrival plates! I being a retired air traffic controller enjoyed looking at the SIDS and Approach plates. I enjoy your videos, If you ever have an extra seat, I would jump at the prospect of going up in something like the Premier! I love your videos.
I'm also clapping you along with your family on this video and landing. This video was very immersive and an excellent up front view of what went on in that weather front that caused my wife's flight to get diverted to an alternate airport that day.
I know this was produced a few years back but really enjoyed this one, the landing really looked challenging and a lot to contend with. Thanks for your efforts and sharing another great chronicle.
+Austin Gunn Yeah another commenter suggested that and I think its a great idea. Hope you are doing well Austin. Just now uploaded another video of taking a young kid out for a flight yesterday. Not as comprehensive as these newer ones but it gets the idea across.
+Premier 1 Driver I've always hopped on FlightAware and used their IFR plate library to follow along with what you're doin'. Helps me learn instrument procedures a little bit better. I'm only a student pilot, but I'll get there :) Appreciate the quick message. Safe flying!
Greg, being with VA-82 NAVY A7-E out of Cecil field,fl. 1975, I still remember the serious and the responsibility to pay attention to detail work as a team. I miss the closest of friendship and bond we came together in the years of service. I Remember the wheel watch duty.
These are some of the most relaxing flight videos. Thank you for all the video editing that goes into this. Really enjoy being able to see the entire flight. I know it takes a lot to put videos like this together. Joe.
47:34 "Zero-Golf-Mike, see that cell at your 10 o'clock?" "Affirmative, Zero-Golf-Mike." "Turn left, directly into it." Very, very nice approach and landing!
Sometimes my experience in FlightSimX is that when you go off course and then get turned by atc and other things that happen fast when your ready and close to land ect. Basically if your relying heavy on NAV and APR, ILS locked on, you will be behind the curve. Im used to just turning off the autopilot and hand flying the plane when you need to get turned and set up better. Dont even get me started when the weather does not give you a chance to even spot the airport or where to exactly put it down. This guy is a seasoned pro. Im from Fort Myers Fl so thats why I found this video. Subscriber now.
I love your videos... I miss my days when I was with Raytheon... I have flown the C90, B200, B350, Hawker 800XP and the Premier 1 out of KVNY with frequent trips to KICT... Keep posting!! I so enjoy your footage! Weathers like this always put the hairs on your back to stand up no matter how experienced you are as a pilot....good job on your part there!!! Definitely a difficult ending to an IFR flight with a handful ILS approach...even when you reached the ground, having to call in to cancel IFR....I am so glad that I only fly in the San Diego area now...always sunny and clear...
Simply awesome. I will start my instrument training soon, and videos from people like you give me an invaluable learning tool. I know the equipment will be drastically different, but the ATC system is the same. Please!, keep the videos coming. Thank you, sir.
Always enthrals me to see the lovely wx above cloud and easy to imagine it’s like that all the way down. Can’t wait to get my instrument rating and fly through some proper I,e English wx. Great vid, thanks for education and entertainment.
17:35 Very cool how you can see the hole in the clouds where Lake Okeechobee is and ahead on the left, you can see another hole in the clouds indicating Tampa Bay! Love your videos, Greg!! Some day when I hit the lotto, would love to hire you for a week for some fun cruising!
Very nice! Love the IMC videos, especially when the instruments are shown. Your videos are very entertaining, thank you! Fly safe and keep up the great work.
Well done on the ILS. The exhale was definitely needed. And loved the applause from the peanut gallery in the back upon rollout. Really like the new videos you are putting out. Have a Happy New Year!
my flying instructor, from many many years ago, was born to fly too....always 2 steps ahead of the plane...and circumstances..."not editing'!! thanks for sharing!
Memories just came flooding in on the approach, you really got us there with you I even found myself hoping you turned the heat on :) great video , Happy New Year to you and yours thanks again
Greg: You are definitely living the dream! Thank you for taking the time to make your videos and post them. I really enjoy them. If you have a chance would you be able to make a video that is a tour of the panels explaining what does what etc. in your cockpit? Thank you again for this unique window on private aviation. Henri
high work load approach in quite challenging winds, single crew, well done. fun to watch. you deff deserve the clapping of your folks aboard on landing. I also like to listen to US ATC as I'm not too often over there. Reg WX RDR: I usually scan the skies ahead of me as if I was a doctor doing "an ultra sound" on a pergnant belly just to see the baby/cell :-) Happy new year
Hey love your videos and especially this one because of the IFR conditions and I am currently in flight school working on my instrument rating and seeing a pilot doing it and going thru all the procedures and radio communication is just a good tool and resource so thanks and keep up the good work with the videos
Cool video's ....I fly out of Mt Comfort "rent there" ...and have heard your N on the radio at times when I'm on Indy approach or Center. I live up in Anderson and you've got some good video's. Love the IFR stuff the most.
great video again thanks for sharing. i enjoyed the added instrument view. its very interesting when you show and comment on what the plane is doing and showing it on the instrument. good thing im not a pilot cause I wouldn't do well on all that read back info. always seems so be so busy down in Florida. hope you and your family have a happy new year.
At 52:18 are you disengaging the autopilot with that enunciation? There is also another tone at 54:00. Can you elaborate please on what these tones mean? Any thrust reversers on your aircraft?
That was a real trip !! .. like sitting in a rocking chair with you !! .. tricky approach was exciting, but it went well after getting in under 1k ft. .. good stuff.
You sir flew your ass off on that final!!!! I'd gladly be a passenger on any of your flights anyday. Clearly your passengers appreciated your skills too LOL!!!
Nerves showing with sweat ring on your shirt. I am instrument rated, multi engine, land and sea. Nice job there. The avionics makes things a bit easier than it used to be.
I'm impressed after every video. This was my fave so far. You sir are unbelievably professional and proficient. That was a tough approach. My idea of IFR as a rotary wing guy is "I follow roads" lol. Take off is optional landing is mandatory. You my friend are as good they get. Keep posting and keep the shiny side up! I'll keep watching.
Been flying for the airlines for so long I forgot what it's like to fly solo! Nice videos! Seems like a quiet cockpit. I fly the 73 now which can be very loud at times.
Well done on what was a very difficult approach followed by an excellent landing given the crosswind. I noticed that not even the autopilot/flight director got you onto the localiser first go due to the wind. Only glitch I saw was, "I must remember to read back height clearances!"
Greg, I have not been viewing your videos for quite some time! Back, to doing so on a regular basis now!! I, do hope that all is well with the Mink Family!’
Very challenging approach and landing in that weather---but you made it look easy as pie with the only indication of the tension involved being that exhale on rollout...must be the military in you! Thanks!
Just saw this one. Yikes!!! 50kt rear-quartering crosswind at 2300ft on final? That was a handful but you managed it very well with aplomb. That cam trained on your PFD is a great view!
Wow, besides the ice, the turbulence, the high crosswind, the low ceiling, and the wet runway, piece of cake!
Out of so many great videos on this channel, I think this is my favorite. Outstanding airmanship + great ATC work = a thing of beauty.
Man i hate the clouds , its like driving a top fuel dragster on a foggy night , with 5 ft of vision during dear season, thank God for that radio and computers
That seems to be a real sweet little bird you have there man, it seems to just fly itself the whole way
Just started watching your videos this month. Have to say from pilot cockpit load this has been the most impressive of all the video I have watched yet.
Man, OG P1D! This was a great approach and warrants respect. Thanks for sharing!
Ho Lee Fuk! Your sigh at 54:15 said it all for me! What an amazing pilot! Speechless and grateful for your videos, sir.
Your are very lucky to be able to pilot your very own jet, thank you so much for sharing that amazing experience with us. I love your videos. Best regards and happy 2016 from a 777 driver based in Dubai.

+Bill A. Thanks Bill! Be sure to buckle up that seat belt!
Beautiful flight sir. It's a real pleasure watch u fly, and the way you narrate everything. Thanks
The continuous display of your PFD , and ATC conversations are great for those of us who are trying to Garmin stuff from steam gages! Thanks Greg, have ever missed one of your videos or 310Pilot. Keep the grease side down! Piper1
This, one of my "Favorites ", because of the fact how you handled the "Weather Condition's " !!
Ah so beautiful! Never disappointed with any of your videos, always done to a superb standard
EXCELLENT VIDEOS. I WATCH THEM ALL
I really liked the dash shots showing the altitude / speed / heading, etc. That's what made this video so interesting. Seeing how things come together.

+Robert Clark Thanks Robert. Another viewer suggested putting the links up. I can't take credit for it, but it certainly is a good idea!
I totally enjoy your videos, even though I'm an inactive pilot. What I like most is that you never rush anything, which used to be my Achilles heel
Once again, awesome vid, great piloting with a crazy approach in those winds,, and thanks for linking to the plates! It's fun to follow along!
+Austin Gunn Yeah another commenter suggested that and I think its a great idea. Hope you are doing well Austin. Just now uploaded another video of taking a young kid out for a flight yesterday. Not as comprehensive as these newer ones but it gets the idea across.

Okay, the camera pointed at the display is very cool.
This IFR flight & final touchdown was textbook.....so well done

Wow that was an amazing landing with that bad weather. You are an inspiration to me.
Awesome work on that last approach. Safe flying!

That's some beautiful flying Greg
You are spoiling us! Excellent crosswind landing, beautiful flight! Love the experience!! Thank you!!
Awesome video!!!! I just could not stop watching. Thank you very much for sharing. Please keep posting.
I've been reproducing your flights in a simulator. It teaches so much. Thanks
I fly out of RSW all the time, great to see it from the front. 😎
Thanks for posting. Really enjoy these videos and with just 130 total hours and working on my instrument rating, they're a great resource.
I breathed a deep sigh also when you landed. That approach was a tuffy.
Very nice! Love the IMC videos, especially when the instruments are shown. Your videos are very entertaining, thank you! Fly safe and keep up the great work.
As an aspiring pilot i really enjoy your videos. Hope to begin flight school by April 2017.
Thank you for sharing.
Well done on the ILS. The exhale was definitely needed. And loved the applause from the peanut gallery in the back upon rollout. Really like the new videos you are putting out. Have a Happy New Year!

Thanks Bruce!
Nice approach! Gee, good thing your airport was in the clear.😜
New subscriber my brother and I are new pilots heading toward IFR we both appreciate and enjoy your videos. Thanks!
+DA40 DRIVER Do you guys own a Diamond?
Not yet but we are hopeful...my brother is in a club and I just rent. We're almost at the point where it might make more sense to own.
Excellent. Best of luck with the Instrument rating!
my flying instructor, from many many years ago, was born to fly too....always 2 steps ahead of the plane...and circumstances..."not editing'!! thanks for sharing!
Memories just came flooding in on the approach, you really got us there with you I even found myself hoping you turned the heat on :) great video , Happy New Year to you and yours thanks again
Magnificently trained pilot. You just exude professionalism and confidence and it would be a privilege to fly with you.
As always, it's fun flying with you!...Great editing!
Flying is the second greatest thrill known to man, Landing is the first. love your vids.
Joe Ryan
Again a wonderful view of how to fly a jet correctly and with fore thought. The landing superb !!! shows your skills. Safe travels.
One of my “ Favorites “ episodes “, love it!!
Great video, I don't know how you keep it all straight, sounds overwhelming!
Well I see that got your blood pumping...Awesome Job Greg!!!!
That was very fun to watch. Awesome flight!
Beautiful approach Greg because I was riding with you on this IFR flight
Another great video Greg...I like how you explain your flight
Nice flying!

Incredible flying. I had no idea it was like that. Thank you for sharing.
Professional and educational. I would welcome the opportunity to see more. Thank you.

Very good jet pilot. Thanks for taking the time to share. Wish I could fly a privet jet like you......Bask in the glory....Stay Safe.
That was a real trip !! .. like sitting in a rocking chair with you !! .. tricky approach was exciting, but it went well after getting in under 1k ft. .. good stuff.
Holy Cow! I needed a Xanax just to watch this approach. You have some titanium nerves my friend and very impressive flying skills.
You sir flew your ass off on that final!!!! I'd gladly be a passenger on any of your flights anyday. Clearly your passengers appreciated your skills too LOL!!!
Great landing with those conditions! That sigh on final said it all though.
Expertly done and so focused on the job in hand you have to believe your instruments to make that landing regards Michael.

+Tim Storey Thanks Tim..appreciate the comments. I edit out all the stuff that makes me look stupid. Yes, I am that insecure. :-)
It amazes me how the pilots and air controllers communicate with each other.
That was exciting....scary but exciting!!! Must have felt good to touch down after all that wind slapping. Awesome flying and vids :)
you sir, are a hell of an outstanding pilot....
It's all in the editing.
Premier 1 Driver Lol...I know better!
Great job, looked great, thank you for all your videos.
Nicely Done !
So much fun to watch! Great work. Didn't think I would've watched every minute of it! Love your videos, keep it up!
lol I could taste fear just watching you bring that in. In the clouds until right at 1000 feet. Nice job.
Amazing! I'm not a pilot, but wow! That's amazing. Balls of steel.
Lo ved the vídeo!, camera at the main displays excellent!, that was a very nice ILS approach considering the weather.
I bet that wore you out! What a workload coming in on the ILS. Thumbs up.
Awesome work! I would have been thinking about a missed just because of that wind!!
Nice landing. Really cool that you can see how much crosswind correction there is compared to the localizer. Nice vid as always.
Thanks for another great video. Living my dreams through them .
Thank you for sharing your nice videos, I really enjoy them.
Great landing...cross wind at its best.I had a look at the wind sock towards the end of the video......wow!!! + 1 like.
Been flying for the airlines for so long I forgot what it's like to fly solo! Nice videos! Seems like a quiet cockpit. I fly the 73 now which can be very loud at times.
Great video, thanks, and a hell of a battle at the end there!
Very well done! You made it look easy.
Well done on what was a very difficult approach followed by an excellent landing given the crosswind. I noticed that not even the autopilot/flight director got you onto the localiser first go due to the wind. Only glitch I saw was, "I must remember to read back height clearances!"

Viewing, Bad wx ILS approach in a Private Jet ! Your, plane is just so "Beautiful ",love to have exactly like it !!
Just saw this one. Yikes!!! 50kt rear-quartering crosswind at 2300ft on final? That was a handful but you managed it very well with aplomb. That cam trained on your PFD is a great view!
at 500, I had No idea where the runway was at. glad you had better eye sight than I
