Thanks for the e mail.. I already watched this video .. I always keep my eyes open for you videos, They are awesome.I have seen all of them. I really enjoy them. You are a very skilled PD1 pilot. I ike the way you eplain as your flying and still able to keep focus on flying.. Thanks
Enjoyed the view of the instrumentation., It is amazing that you can spot the runways so far out , I can never make them out . nice job again . Thank you
As someone who lives in Dallas, it's a huge kick getting to see all of our highways/roads/mainways from the air and the fact that you know them P1D. I get a huge kick out of your videos!
P1 Driver, thanks again for a great flight. Slowly but surely I'm making my way through your video library of flights and I'm enjoying every one. I came upon your RUclips page at just the right time as I'm pretty much home-bound during these winter months and your videos have really helped me out. As I've previous stated, I miss flying so very much. Although its been almost 30 years since I last sat at the controls of an airplane, your cameras have sure helped to fill that void. Regards, Ernie
I absolutely love watching these videos. This is something I have always wanted to be able to do, but because of a visual impairment will never be able to. Thanks so much for sharing your flying experiences.
Thank you for taking the time to explain and record yours flights. Since being a child I have dreamed of being a pilot however physical limitations have left me at the hanger. Your recordings are awesome and allow me to be as close as I can be in the cockpit. I especially like the triple view so I can follow along. Once again thank you , James.
I HAVE TO admire & respect your videos! I also thank you for putting these together... The views of Colorado are breathtaking. I vividly remember 20-yrs ago driving back to Ft. Lewis, WA from Sav'h, GA [I was an Army officer stationed at Ft. Lewis] & on a Snowy late night in a front-wheel drive Honda Prelude navigating from West Denver through Vail's mountains, w/ zero chains ~ VERY Interesting! I've LOVED aircraft-flying since I was six (1967) . My wife & daughters cringe whenever an aircraft zooms-by & I do the Whiplash Neck Maneuver to google at them. Anyway, thx 4 these superb videos..
Huge fan As always great video. This has to be one of MY top videos of yours. watched the takeoff several times. You can't beat that scenery. Thanks sir.
Zero Golf Mike, that 27 takeoff from telluride is something!! Gets my stomach just watching!!!! I remember going up to the airport when they were working on it around 86 or 87. I thought, wow, you have to be crazy to land and take off here. Or you could just fall off I suppose!!! Good Day!!!
Thanks a lot for these fabulous cockpit videos that you are sharing with us. Best regards from "siggen" who live around 700 km above the arctic circle. More precisely in the city of Tromso in Norway✈
Hello! Your Raytheon 390 is a very nice plane. Loved the video, YT recommended it to me as I was looking at Telluride airport content. I send a big hug from MMQT airport and happy flights.
Loved this flight, Greg! I worked at Addison Airport during the early 90s. I was fortunate to get to fly quite often. It was cool to see some of the familiar landmarks of the Dallas area from the air. The shortest flight I have ever been on was in a Lear 25 from Addison to Love Field. It was a late night re-positioning flight and the pilots decided to see how quick they could get from wheels up from 15 to touchdown on 13L. It was under 4 minutes. Loved the split screen with the outside views / instruments and having the routing in the description made it easy to follow in Skyvector. My kids are always begging me to take them to the airport to watch the airplanes.. We often go to the park that is right under the final approach of 13L. I will have to show them this video tonight. They will love it. I know making videos is not your profession and you seem to be very busy. Just want to say THANK YOU for the extra time you invest to allow us to ride along with you.
You make great videos. I love the routing and communications and commentary. Thanks for doing all the work. It's too bad your spouse doesn't enjoy the flights as much as we do. :)
Loving the PIP views. Glad you figured out how to achieve that. Another fascinating video. Looking forward to the next one. 50 to 60mph crosswinds here in Stornoway, Scotland. Bet you are glad you are not flying here, lol.
Congratulations Greg for this new video. The multiple record mode is very interesting. And a new camera allows you to see the pedestal panel. Love to fly with you. Thank you for sharing. Patrick
awesome video. very much appreciate the narration , not a pilot but find these very informative and fun. I actually have a moderate fear of flying and watching these videos is helping me quite a bit. cool stuff.
Nice Intro! I like that you don't cut an insane amount of content out of your videos. I have been watching you since you had very few subscribers and I am glad to see that you are rising up! Keep up the hard work!
Servus from Austria, this video setting is perfect, the camera position very well. the view from above, from the right side is excellent. I can be your work in the cockpit look good and it is very interesting for me. as always perfect ATC to get good for me. Even the instruments are clearly visible. Thank you and have always a safe landing.
0MG (Zero Mike Golf) your videos are by far the best around. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and look forward to more every day. Simply the best, thank you!
I trust you're in good form! Thanks for changing the battery/card out on the descent! Our oldest son Eric is entering training next week with Frontier on Airbus equipment.
Am now officially addicted to your videos! At 45:03 you are flying over Frisco - I saw my house @ 45:12! Plano is still a couple of miles south (Look for SH121 and the mall on the left to mark crossing into Plano). Keep up the good work and thanks for giving wings to those who haven't had the chance to sprout their own (yet but hopefully someday).
And it seems others on the radio speed up their talk to get closer to her hyper speed, I'd slow down on purpose and see if I could get her to slow down.
Cool tour Greg! I went to Plano Senior High, got my PPL out of Addison, and worked for SWA HDQ! Lol Great video Flying my butt around in a 150 in Class Bravo built some thick skin fast sir lol
*This is an exciting flight, but without a cam on the screen, showing ahead and or the train, it's difficult to see beyond the windshield lolo.* *As an arm-chair co-pilot, I need more information to relax! ;-)* *Was watching steveo1kinevo and then another pilot flying into Telluride from Centennial airport, I guess, but with a plane that comes with a parachute...?* *I'm more relaxed with Premier1 and seeing you have two jet engines, it makes watching less stressful, in your circumstances--even though I'm in my living room...haha!* *I'll be able to sleep later! ;-)* *Thanks for the flight, enjoyed it!*
Great video. The added multi view angles was a nice touch. I see you got some new mounts those look really nice. Geez that airport on take off was definitely not one to over shoot on take off lol. That would not be good. Thanks for sharing.
How do you like those new camera mounts? Do they really reduce vibrations? I ordered 2 along with two additional cameras and they aren't expected to arrive until some time in November. I hope they are worth the wait!!
Wow! That shear drop at end of 27! Minimum safe altitude either side ~14,500' - Blimey! Nice view of KDAL area lakes on way in. ~18 years ago in a rented C172. Doing the $100 burger deal to Abilene and back. Called KGPM from, I'm sure, a VRP "Venus" on my chart (no fancy Garmin stuff). "Y'all where?". My English accent fooling them perhaps? Sorted eventually (over Joe Pool lake) and landed at KGMP with the big boys overhead heading to KDFW. Just trying to get re-join not re-entry! BTW - Ended up being fantastic BBQ in Abilene, driven and hosted by 4 really nice USAF guys on training mission in a biz-jet we just Happy memories.
Wow 2kts Error margin before overspeeding the aircraft... I like flying the aircraft to its limits but not where it takes time to correct the parameter e.g. CAS
Mr. Mink, thanks for sharing your videos! As a fellow former Blacksnake, thank you for your service! I was a F-16 Crew Chief at the 122nd from '04-'10, and my dad flew F-100's and F-4's there from '71-'91. Have you ever considered having someone sit right-seat full time? Anyway, currently living in Fort Wayne, would be honored to meet you sometime!
Awesome...we just missed crossing paths. Great memories of my time up at the Fort. Its not that I don't want somebody sitting right seat, but more a function of flexibility and ease. But in reality, a right seater is probably not far off in the horizon.
Thanks for sharing, needed to see those mikes move, and got it. Just missed the overspeed tape change on descent, dang! Love your vids, not a fan of multi-cams as you do a great job editing anyway: visible traffic, views, transients, wing... (Short wings don't bend much but they do flex at the attachment points.) You're the best!
YES Sir I enjoyed ur flight must B nice flying all these New Jets but I am just an Old Private Pilot and I've always loved flying!! I couldn't find out what type of Jet this is?? Did I miss something?? Anyhow Thanks for the Video!! 😊😊
Greg, I've enjoyed watching many of your videos and vicariously flying right seat along with you. It's clear you have a beautiful airplane and lots of varied experience flying single pilot IFR. You stay ahead of the aircraft, something not easily achieved in a Premier. I hold a commercial certificate with instrument rating and own a PA-32 based at Indy Metro. In my 36 years and around 2500 hours of flying (along with a couple hundred glass G1000 hours) I consider each flight a learning experience and in that spirit would love to fly right seat on some of your trips if that's possible, if for no other reason than just the pure joy and camaraderie. Especially because I want to fly with you I hope you're open to a suggestion (and even if we never get to fly together). Flying single pilot can sometimes lead to less desirable habits and we all have room for improvement. My suggestion is in the area of the use of standard phraseology in your radio communications. Controllers are bound to only use standard phrases and we as pilots sometimes stray for a variety of reasons. Nevertheless, my humble suggestion for improvement having watched many hours of your flying is to go back to the basics and read-back all clearances using standard phraseology: 1. Altitudes - thousands and hundreds of feet ("eight thousand seven hundred" not "eight point seven") 2. Frequencies - three digits, the word "point" followed by one or two digits ("one three three point four two" not "thirty-three forty-two") 3. Headings - the word "heading" followed by three digits ("heading one three zero") 4. Airspeed - three digits followed by the word "knots" ("two seven zero knots") I've also noticed two other communications issues: 1. Tail number should only be abbreviated after the controller has abbreviated it 2. We are required to include the expect further clearance time when reading back a clearance (i.e. "one seven thousand expect flight level two three zero one zero minutes") Of course you already know these things as you are clearly well trained. I hope my comments haven't come across as too nit-picky. Overall you're doing a very nice job and I'm totally wanting to ride along. (hint-hint)
Excellent observations Bernie. I used to fly our 414 out of Metro. And Jeff Wood and I flew together in the military. I'll look for an opportunity to get you airborne.
EArly snow eh ? At least was not sticking ! YOur 8000 press altitude, is pretty darn good, considering many airliners are 9-10. Thou. Thanks for answer, regarding heated leading edge, rather than pneumatic. WHat about windscreen ? THe closest I ever got 'glass' was in 84 on a 2 week old B757 for EASTERN . THanks for your great vids.
Hi Greg. You haven't had any comments on this video recently. But have you seen today's edition of The Grand Tour, with Clarkson, Hammond & May? They visit a very familiar airport for some antics in Jaguar cars. Provided they don't fall off the end of runway 27 first (haven't watched that bit yet). Happy New Year to you.
Great video. I love the ones you produce during mountain flights. I don't know if you remember but I was the one that commented that I had always believed that anything much over 5000 agl was just traveling. I have changed my views on that after watching your videos. I also stated that I was going to go ahead and push up to my instrument and multi-ratings. I'm working on my last project in the corporate world and will try my hand in the avation world as a shuttle service, not for passengers but for industry. I'm thinking of buying a Beechcraft C90GTx.and using this for my training and then my services. I would love your input and considerations an this decision. Thanks,Tony
Your videos are great. Thanks for taking us along, specially those of us who will never know what its like flying a jet!
Awesome video as always!
Thank you for the way you talk to us RUclipsrs...it's as if we are sitting right their with you!
I really like the 3 way split screen !
I love being able to ride along and enjoy the views and learn a few things from you, thanks for sharing your videos!
WOW that drop off a the end of the runway was amazing. Fun to watch.

P1 Driver, thanks again for a great flight. Slowly but surely I'm making my way through your video library of flights and I'm enjoying every one. Great video today sir!, camera angles and multi cam where great, liked the landing with the pip on lower left.
Beautiful fall day in Telluride, I hope the early snow is a positive sigh for an outstanding ski season.
great flying. appreciate the split screens. thanks again for posting!
Thank you for sharing your flights!
I absolutely love watching these videos. This is something I have always wanted to be able to do, but because of a visual impairment will never be able to. Thanks so much for sharing your flying experiences.
Absolutely one of your best videos so far! I love riding with you!
Boy,that last steps a doozy out of telluride,it sure is beautiful there though .
Thank you for taking the time to explain and record yours flights. Since being a child I have dreamed of being a pilot however physical limitations have left me at the hanger. What a sweet flight. This is what flying is all about.
Thanks for this share Sir, I love the fact you don't talk a lot, and allow us to just enjoy the views, the best always.
+Premier 1 Driver, Just wanted to 'Thank You' for the awesome Tri-camrea angle view.

You bet Ben G. Might start experimenting with some other views.

I really like the multicam view! Fun to follow PFD. Thanks!
Another great video, Captain! Thanks for posting.

My favorite vid of yours yet, love that area as I lived south of telluride years ago in Dolores !
I used to live in Dallas so that was a cool approach. Hopefully catch you coming into Vegas in the future :) Keep the videos coming, superb stuff.
awesome video. very much appreciate the narration , not a pilot but find these very informative and fun. I actually have a moderate fear of flying and watching these videos is helping me quite a bit. cool stuff.

Thanks PD1 I sure enjoying riding with you!!
Pretty cool to see my local runway, and the traffic around my home field.
Really liked the overlay views!!! Awesome job Greg!
Great video, very informative. thank you. I guess, it helps to be an auctioneer, prior to be an air traffic controller as a pre requisite.
great comment!
Good luck finding a landing spot, if engines fail on take off....Great video as always...Thanks!
wow that has some great views in it. Again, love seeing my state in these videos!

Thanks!
I trust you're in good form! Thanks for changing the battery/card out on the descent! Our oldest son Eric is entering training next week with Frontier on Airbus equipment.
Always great, thanks for posting these.
Thanks for the ride, P1D!
She sure was fast and yet, strangely polite 👍👍😂
I like the "bad weather" videos the best.

Love the videos, But wow love tower she was REALLY Hyper!!
Probably chugging espresso's...
she needs to slow down...that's how accidents happen!
And it seems others on the radio speed up their talk to get closer to her hyper speed, I'd slow down on purpose and see if I could get her to slow down.
Cool tour Greg! I went to Plano Senior High, got my PPL out of Addison, and worked for SWA HDQ! Lol
Great video
Flying my butt around in a 150 in Class Bravo built some thick skin fast sir lol

great video, clear picture of instruments too.
It is worthwhile to see, how everything has been made cost-efficient in the USA :-)
Fabulous, as usual.
I think I'll know I've made it in the world when TWO people on the radio at KTEX and I are on a first-name basis.
Thanks Jeff. I've been going there for a long time and they are really great people there. They make everyone feel like family there.
Settling down to watch :) keep em coming Sir!!!
How do you like those new camera mounts? Do they really reduce vibrations? I ordered 2 along with two additional cameras and they aren't expected to arrive until some time in November. I hope they are worth the wait!!
they are excellent.
Good Lord, that Love controller was hard to understand, she talked extremely fast.
I hear ya...lol.
Yea, and those "honey do's" would be holy hell., ha.
47:52 Holy Cow that was fast
Marion Blair I agree. Surely theres no need for the 2.5x speed?! The only thing that slowed her down was the altimeter reading.
That's one of my biggest pet peeves as a Controller and when training new Controllers. Your voice is not supposed to match the aircrafts airspeed.
Telluride to Dallas love. Thaks for a great ride!
Great vids. Trying to get my son interested in flying (not easy) and this is about as good as it gets.
The ATC discussion at the start was interesting as you seemed to be checking that the ATC’s read back was correct!!
Wow 2kts Error margin before overspeeding the aircraft... I like flying the aircraft to its limits but not where it takes time to correct the parameter e.g. CAS
The split screen on final is a nice view from our couch!
I love the multi cams... But count me in listening in to all of the atc from one place to the other...
Yeah, it just takes a lot of editing time and generally a battery swap as well.
The big blue sky looks good.
From the left camera is also perfect view :-)
Man..that woman in the Love tower sounded like she was sitting on a hot poker!
I live near Love Field. Maybe give a departure date/time and will try to get some video of you taking off. Another great one, Greg!
Will try to do that. Have a few flights in October.
And you had to be very cautious. Winds, very active runway going into Dallas. And thank goodness you had a tail wind. Hugh?
really nice to look at the world before the corona ..... im in france :-) thank you P1D
Really like the multicam view Greg.
Yeehaw!! Another Telluride video! Keep 'em coming please :-)
Thanks for sharing, needed to see those mikes move, and got it. Just missed the overspeed tape change on descent, dang! Love your vids, not a fan of multi-cams as you do a great job editing anyway: visible traffic, views, transients, wing... (Short wings don't bend much but they do flex at the attachment points.) Wow, nice video...Thinking about getting Telluride for ORBX now
thx
YES Sir I enjoyed ur flight must B nice flying all these New Jets but I am just an Old Private Pilot and I've always loved flying!! I couldn't find out what type of Jet this is?? Did I miss something?? Anyhow Thanks for the Video!! 😊😊
Greg,
I've enjoyed watching many of your videos and vicariously flying right seat along with you.
Nevertheless, my humble suggestion for improvement having watched many hours of your flying is to go back to the basics and read-back all clearances using standard phraseology:
1. Altitudes - thousands and hundreds of feet ("eight thousand seven hundred" not "eight point seven")
2. Frequencies - three digits, the word "point" followed by one or two digits ("one three three point four two" not "thirty-three forty-two")
3. Headings - the word "heading" followed by three digits ("heading one three zero")
4. Airspeed - three digits followed by the word "knots" ("two seven zero knots")
I've also noticed two other communications issues:
1. Tail number should only be abbreviated after the controller has abbreviated it
2. We are required to include the expect further clearance time when reading back a clearance (i.e. "one seven thousand expect flight level two three zero one zero minutes")
Of course you already know these things as you are clearly well trained. I hope my comments haven't come across as too nit-picky. Overall you're doing a very nice job and I'm totally wanting to ride along. (hint-hint)

NO MORE coffee or energy drinks to Love Fld App control !
Love controller must have been an auctioneer before she switched to being a controller....
Looked like a nice dip off the end of the rwy if you were to happen to have an excursion...sheeesh!
Beautiful scenery..
Thanks for the flight!
I fell asleep during the protracted approach. Good thing you didn't!
EArly snow eh ? At least was not sticking ! YOur 8000 press altitude, is pretty darn good, considering many airliners are 9-10. Thou. Electric heated windscreens.
Great flight thanks for the ride.
It would be nice to show the forward view while taxing so we could see the airport grounds and where we're going... Otherwise, another great vid!
Hi Greg. You haven't had any comments on this video recently. But have you seen today's edition of The Grand Tour, with Clarkson, Hammond & May? Hi Tony- best of luck with your pursuit of those two ratings. I'm not much of a King air fan, but they are well regarded airplanes.
Thanks Greg. I just staring my research into this and have a ways to go, its a large purchase. Be Safe, Tony
Nice video. Love the multi cam look.
