How special this event is for these two people. A mother who is a captain and her daughter who is her co pilot, having a flight together with both of them at the controls! I know this momma captain is so proud of her daughter! Thumbs up!

I hate how hypocritical some people are. When shown a video like this, they all say it's unsafe. When a video depicting women pilots doing a perfect take off and landing, they mention that it's not unique? Some of the best, least turbulent, safest flights I've had (with family) had all women crew. They were just amazing!

You don't have to follow the same footsteps as your mom or dad. It's entirely upto you whose footsteps you want to follow, even if it's not your mom or dad. Yes, it's better to follow the footsteps of your parents(career wise). But it's not mandatory. If you always dreamed of having the same job as one of your parents, go ahead. But if you haven't, no need to.

Had a pilot friend who paid $3k for his 747 testing...30 years ago. Sure, the airlines pay you for it if they hire you, but it still is an upfront cost to the pilot.

You are 100% right. Those 2 women were most likely Air Force pilots first. Then you get hired with a perfect flight record in the Air Force. Then you start on small aircraft, short flights for the airlines & qualify your way up in aircraft size + route lengths. It's a lot of work & high achievements. The children making negative comments need to be banned from flying. Their the rude person on the plane misbehaving & not dressed appropriately. This flight may of been a respectful...but well earned one-time flight. They both have great respect from their employer.
