I use mematic, and when I do the text and stuff I leave some room on the bottom so when I save the picture, I can go and crop out the bottom where it says “made with mematic”
Basically yeah that would have worked perfect if I could do it here, but I ended up bringing it to a shop near here to have it welded, and it would be rough having to bring like 6 feet of transmission to him 🤣
Wasted like 13 minutes of my time waiting to see that this guy didn't do anything right. I'm trying to figure out how I can fix my own bell housing, not how some rando failed on his. I already knew not to try to MIG aluminum without a spool gun.
I’m not sure if you read the title or not but “fail” usually means it didn’t go as planned After this experience I dropped it off at a shop and the guy charged me like 40$ to weld it up and did a very clean job so I guess that’s my advice to you also.
@@StationroadRatrods yeah I did read the title. I just thought you had done it the "right" way and it still failed for some reason. I'm having a pro weld mine because I don't trust myself to get it perfectly straight. Thanks and sorry for being grouchy before.
It’s all a learning experience that’s for sure, and that’s why I brought it to someone else after having the trouble I had. After having the bell housing welded and going through the trouble of rebuilding it, the damn thing wouldn’t move with less than half throttle so I was feeling pretty grouchy too 🤪 No worries at all man, good luck with your build. If you haven’t already, look up the “sloppy transbrake” it’s amazing on the 80E
First! (Pin?)
You know it! Pinned 🤘
Have you ever used an impact screw driver with the torx bit to try and remove the bellhousing? Might work better.
That’s actually how I broke it hahaha, dumb bolts are awful to get out
@@StationroadRatrods it’s nice to live where rust isn’t a major problem.
For sure! That’s only a dream for me haha
Also, what app do you use for thumbnails?

“Goes to the quantum realm never see it again” lol Midnight mechanic problems
Haha yes. Some things you don’t even look for, they’re gone. 🤣
You could just bolt both trans together then you know it would be flat. Sense you can’t get the bell housing off

Torc + there a little thicker
Oh neat! Never heard of them, I’ll check it out
Good video. Go try.
Thanks! It’s welded up now, hopefully it’ll be a good transmission.
lol my family is always sleeping
I only get to work when Cass and the girls sleep, so I don’t usually get to sleep too much 🤣
I want the last 15 minutes and 42 seconds of my life back cuz I didn't learn s***
What were you trying to learn?
Snotter? ...... You gotta! 🤫
tooSavvy @UK
Hahaha shhhh

I just filled in a fist size hole on mine with an htp invertig 221. It was pure hell and I'm a very good weldor
Oh man I bet that sucked
