I almost went on a trip to mexico but the travel agent kept stressing us about not leaving the resort at all because it’s dangerous. & after all these horror stories, I think I’m good.
Been there a bunch of times, never had a real problem. It almost always happens to people who act obnoxiously and make themselves known to bad people or law enforcement. Not that that means they deserve it, but I'm saying if you act like a decent person you won't be bothered usually. Also depends which parts you go to.

police are pathological lyers..they killed him and know who did it..they beat him up...you will never ever find out the truth as they are all criminals and have no respect for people...glad they caught Smith..got a good long sentence then saved the state a lot of money by necking himself..

Nineteen81 my dad knew a guy in Mexico who was found dead in a jail cell the next morning. the guy's mother asked for a second opinion since his head was covered in bruises but the police doctor said he was the doctor, not her
Probably the #1 reason why i will never go to Mexico. The Mexican Policia/Federales.
Also, the Mexican Cartel, but i know there are specific areas that they dont go. And i also heard that most dont mess with American Tourists for obvious reasons. As long as you dont mess with them.

There are much worse people than Mexican police. There are countries where the police force would murder you and happily admit it.

They cut out a lot of the ghost story that was in the original broadcast
They do that with a lot of the segments unfortunately. It's one of the things that makes this version inferior to the original.
They cut out a lot of a lot of the segments. It sucks because sometimes they even cut out important parts that are key to the case. The Robert Stack episodes will never be topped.
These sleepwalking cases all involved athletes of some sort they are sotweeked with being a athletes that their brains are in constant competition that they don't know how to shut it down

oh,and by the way to the story below I'd like to add that when he said he was going to reno I said no because I was afraid we'd end up in the states.Thinking about it now I should've said yes and see what would've happened? we'd have a lot of explaining to do with the authorities on how we entered the states illegally. it's just a what if after thought that I have if I would of said yes.there is alittle hamlet called reno up the road going toward Peace River ,but was it the reno he mean't or the other one?

I never liked the Dennis Farina Unsolved Mysteries theme. It's not creepy like the original, and that clinking metal bucket sound at the end...what even is that?? Just, nope.

a load of piss heads creating hell.....bound to cause trouble and attract retribution...from bent Mexican cops....who were lying murdering bastards....you will never get the truth from them...you will never find the truth if he was a deserter or was bumped off by the army for some reason....best thing Smith did...saved a lot of money
