The Roger's family reunion brought me to tears. ❤😢
Absolutely wonderful. ❤
Me too
Webb is living out his days in Florida. How nice. Should’ve got the chair.
How do you get 8 years for murdering a woman, and dumping her naked body in a farm? That’s deplorable.
And being the police chief!!...lying and then going on the run...8 years is a joke, hate to think what else he might’ve done
Given a break because he worked in law enforcement.
He should of gotten the death sentence. I don't understand why some cops don't get hit harder when they comment awful crimes. sad.
-Do you feel guilty?
-What do I get if I say "Yes"?
-8 yea..
-YES!
The guy playing the cop looks like a crack head
Poor Anna ! 😢 I'm so sorry this happened to her ! Im not disabled physically but i have learning problems and I have been preyed on by hateful people before ! I hope shes resting in peace !
I know what you mean? I have the same problem?
She was disabled but she consentually engaged in a sexual relationship with him.

We need to appreciate that every one of that family that got reconnected had a mullet. From small Mullies to the beauty the youngest one had. Mullets united.
Yup, this show had some majorly epic mullets.
They said there were 6 kids but I only saw 5 reunited

Snake in cuffs: “I’ll be back on the streets in 24hrs!”

Greg Webber was supposed to “protect and serve” snd NOT “abuse and suppress!” He did the latter which is unconscionable of a Chief of Police! A very disgusting and evil man……he disgraced the uniform and badge he wore as well as his police department. Shame on him, really shameful. And to serve only 8 years in prison, after a plea deal, is nauseating. I am speechless.

My dad tried for years and years to get help finding hisreal mom and his sisters. He was a black market adopted baby in 1954 and no one at the show seemed interested. Sad
There's more resources available these days, including dna and genealogy sites, you may find distant relatives that can lead you to the information you need, online.
My brother was adopted out at birth and he found us through DNA. I had never had a test done but one of my sisters had and it showed up in the database as a match to his DNA as being an immediate family member
So amazing how the children of that family are all reunited, left me feeling so good that they conquered the evil that they were born into. Such a good episode, one of my favorite stories so far.
There were six of them! What happened to the sixth one?
@@cerealchild166 they did find Vernon but he probably declined to be a part of the story

The oldest brother (Vernon) was found in eastern Oklahoma, but did not want to get together with his siblings.
"It was a lot harder on him," Rieger said. "There's no doubt he's seen things that happened to us when we were young"
The Oklahoma siblings separated and reunited is so emotional. Crying 😢 😭
Stories like this one terrified me as a kid. I'd overhear bits from my parents and became convinced that men in black were going to come to take my siblings and me away. So, I spent a lot of time coming up with plans to dodge the authorities and survive on the run to reunite with our parents. I think my siblings thought they were games of make-believe. To me, they were real training exercises.
The pain and agony of losing kids is worse than death itself for a lot of moms/parents.
It's so sad and, frankly, terrifying just how much our justice system failed, Anna. Greg should've gotten life.
Greg Webb looks like a Civil War general.
I was thinking the same thing!

I don't usually care for the Lost Loves segments, but the Rogers family story really got to me. Especially felt so sad for their mother, and it touched me the way they forgave their father at his grave. Things should turn out different for families than that. They just should. What a sad world. :*(
They may be broken, but that's one beautiful family. That's exactly what family should be. Just being there for each other, lifting each other up. They have each other now. Its beautiful.
My family has a lot of issues, and I think there's family out there that we will never know of.
But that being said, I feel very blessed after seeing this. I have a lot of family still, and while there are some issues, there are so many more good things. I'm very lucky, and I take it for granted.. I know it won't last forever. This reminds me to remember and savor this moment right now.
So true one of my fav stories of UM ❤❤❤
Agreed! I never really cared for the Lost Love segments either, until a couple years ago I became acquainted with my biological family and discovered I had several younger siblings. I felt like I was an interviewee on an UM in one of these Lost Love segments and what they talk about, is a real feeling. That feeling of the emptiness in your heart being healed, the fact that you had siblings that lived so close to you and would have passed one of the street and would have never known we were related or the feeling of closure. It's a real experience. My birth father was similar to the Rogers' father as well. I can really relate to this story!
Thats my uncle. Ron probst Ralph's son. I remember watching this in the 80s or 90 when it came out. It was bizarre to know the people in the episode of unsolved mysteries. The show was very creepy as an 8 year old

“No one moves to our town” says the freaking mayor. Lady, you might be one of the reasons for that
Greg Webb murdered a woman and only got 8 years in prison. That’s appalling. 🙄🙄
Yeah, I know --- he actually pled guilty, and yet he surely got off light, probably because he was a police chief, eh?? I mean, goodness --- if it had been just an ordinary civilian like you or me who was accused of murdering a young woman, we'd have gotten life or the electric chair, and most likely even if we weren't actually guilty! Infamous "blue wall of protection" at play here, I'll bet. :(
Yeah that’s a plea bargain according to the “statue” sometimes yeah blue wall will work for that criminal
Yeah they would have made a plea deal. Appalling isn't it. "Let's make a deal" with a woman's life at the center of it. But hey, it keeps the whole ball game moving along 👍👌😀. Again I say Appalling.

Why would anybody think that silent night would be an appropriate song to sing at a funeral.
It could be a song that the deceased person liked. We did that at my great grandpas funeral; picked hymns he liked and knew
Probably the lyrics about Mary and Jesus and "sleep in heavenly peace" x 2.
You watched this for nearly a hour and that’s ALL U TOOK FROM IT? 🤡
Watching those kids being taken away from home was heartbreaking. She committed suicide from heartbreak. 😢 Damn.
Anna Anton's friend could have been a dead ringer for my mom in the late 1980s, other than an apparent age difference. That hairdo and glasses were pretty popular in those days.
This episode is just freaky weird. I was born in 1959; my born surname was Rogers; William Thomas Rogers was my grandfather. I do not believe I am related to these 6 children who were abused by Tom and watched their mother Edith be severely abused as well. She cannot be blamed for not being able to take care of six young children when they all kept getting beaten. I do love unsolved mysteries and Robert Stack was the best. I am glad these Rogers children got new families and then found each other. These folks could be sixth cousins to me and my siblings. My grandparents lived in Cushing Oklahoma. Grandpa died in 1955, so was gone when these children were born and or very young.
This segment was so emotional 😭 especially when they visited their parents graves. I hope they are doing well 🙏 💕
Well, I thought it was kinda weird that they kept saying 5 kids, when pictures showed and the dramatizations showed 6 kids!

15:13 They should just have a standard update for every case that goes something like this: "has served their time, and has since been released".
So unsatisfying to know most that are finally caught, are already free again.
I am watching the episodes back-to-back on youtube and the updates are the same from earlier episodes.
I know you have duties as a cop, but you have to taking consideration that this guy that was being guarded in the hospital was not a regular person!
He was DEFINITELY a mobster WITH "connections", and that cop should've recognized THAT & and the cop would probably STILL be alive!
That story of the children who were abused, separated and adopted out to 5 different families was a tear jerker & a half! I can't even imagine what it was like living in that house. I guess it was good that they were all still so young when they were taken away, although the older boys took some bad memories with them. And what a tragedy for their mom. I imagine she was totally exhausted from the depression and sadness of being married to someone like that, and then to lose all of her babies on the same day. That would be too much for most human hearts to endure. But despite all the heartbreak, their story had a beautiful ending and they came together once again. Amazing that the two brothers had met many times without even knowing it! Ultimately, it was a blessing that they were taken away from their parents and I think all the kids know it. I hope they've been able to spend a lot of happy times together over the past 35+ years.

I cant believe a chief of police killed that innocent girl your job is to protect not kill
That's heartbreaking, losing your children because of your physically abusive husband!
There really wasn't much more for her to look forward to, (short of something happening to him or getting herself the hell outta there somehow,) after the kids were gone.
I can completely understand why she'd have thoughts of some, "alternative," when the pain is too unbearable to continue on, some people can't just push through, grin and bear it.
Or; "endure."
It's these child separation, or; "separated at birth," stories that _really_ get me lol I can watch so-called; "True Crime," shows, (like Forensic Files, or Unsolved Mysteries, or whatever,) all day and not be the least bit emotionally involved, until I see one of these stories about a bunch of kids who were all taken away, hauled off into foster care or something, and never seeing their siblings, (or sometimes even Parents, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, etc., and so forth,) ever again.
That's when I need the trusty box of Kleenex. 😢 😭

Really curious why the 6th sibling - Vernon - didn't join the reunion.
I'm guessing that he still has nightmares about what happened with his dad's abuse. Vernon may have been watching the show with his adoptive family and learned his siblings were looking for him. Even though they found him, Vernon declined to reunite with his siblings.
@@ladyfire44 According to the segment they found him before they came to UM. They were only looking for the younger brothers at that point.

Why would they take the children away from that mother and not help the mother knowing she was a victim of domestic abuse? They should’ve kept her with her children and put them in a shelter and got her help and resources to get on her feet.
I doubt they had shelters then. Spousal abuse was considered very personal and maybe if the wife had some brothers, they could maybe keep the husband in line. The police could be abusing their wives. No one really considered it abuse, it was just correcting the wife as if she was a bad child. Of course not all abuse was from husbands, wives abused husbands physically too.
