If UFOs could be explained by meteor's or something like a light house we'd have a lot more sightings. There are things that are seen that look nothing like a meteor shower or anything conventional.
Science uses coincidences to explain anything it can't explain. The light house conspired with a meteor, the planets aligned and hence that explains the UFOs.
