The fact that Robert Stack stayed loyal to the show, literally right up to a year before he died, just showed how much he cared about what he was doing
Michael Martin should not have been jailed; despite the two witnesses seeing him at the crime scene, his alibi cleared . You're only supposed to find someone guilty 'beyond all reasonable doubt'; there was reasonable doubt here.
Missy gets 7 months for helping Jerry murder a man, but Michael gets life in prison + parole for a robbery with no physical evidence. Our criminal justice system is fucked
In the 1980s I was a busy kid with cheerleading, boyfriend, friends, school activities, etc, but when Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack came on once a week you better believe I was planted on the sofa with my mom and sisters clutching a blanket to help cover my eyes and glued to the television. The music still gives me shivers. Stack and Nimoy are perfect examples of what we need to put back into programming. Straight forward, classy presenters and interesting content without relying on overly dramatized or sensationalized storytelling. I really miss the plethora of good entertainment available back then. It seems now a days it all things selfish, shocking or dark.
The moral panic of the 1980's is hilarious--- "Dungeons and Dragons" the gateway to satanic murder cults. That's interesting... all I remember from my D&D days is dorks who also dabbled in games of hackie sack!
It's funny how I've read about so many parents thinking they know their child such as in the case of Missy and her mom. But it turns out they really didn't know them.
Do you know why I love about Robert Stack's "Unsolved Mysteries" and Leonard Nimoy's "In Search Of ..."? They played it straight and presented the facts as best they could. They didn't get flashy. The shows weren't melodramatic or have the "reality TV" feel that too much shows have nowadays. I really miss that.
As a child i was so scared of this show but yet so addicted, as an adult i still love it , i can watch each episode over and over. RIP Robert Stack, <3 Unsolved Mysteries.
This is such a dream to have these back on youtube. I remember when they were segmented and would continually get taken down. And I'm sorry Dennis Farina, but you sir are no Robert Stack

Someone getting a life sentence without any physical evidence is absolutely ridiculous. The jury should have acquitted him for lack of evidence.
Blaming D&D was the 80's version of modern day video game blaming.
I would like to thank the people who hired Robert Stack and film rise for uploading these videos 🙌👏❤️❤️

Honor student dropped out of high school to live with a poor laborer and work at a gas station. Brilliant.

When my grandma died, we buried her with all the letters my grandpa sent her during World War 2. They were married for 58 years.

Ill never forget that voice, of Robert Stack
I'm 34 and this show still freaks me out. I have no idea why I am watching this by myself at 3 in the morning.
Unsolved mysteries will never be the same without Robert Stack. ❤️
"He had raped his sister in law, cut her throat and left her for dead", so naturally he was a free man...😬
I remember watching these over 20 years ago and now i only watch this after midnight. In bed. With the lights off

Nobody beats Robert Stack in hosting Unsolved Mysteries.
