      I've always said it was her, the amount of heroin in his system would've made it impossible for him to pull the trigger or even pick up that shotgun by himself but that's just me thinking

    On the Kurt Cobain death, there is no way to use credit card's after death! Pathetic the police cannot see their fault's. The family need's to step in, gain access to evidence, and prepare a forensic team to reopen the case.

    I have never been a fan of Nirvana or Kurt Cobain. But, he did not commit suicide!
    He was so doped up, and Courtney Love shot him. After all, she treated him like shit for nearly as long as they were together.
    And, all of this crap about him wanting out of the music business is exactly that! CRAP!
    The only thing Kurt wanted out of was his relationship with Courtney, because she got him hooked on heroine, and he wanted to go clean, and she wanted to keep him doped up & bringing in the money.

    In 2006, the Kentucky State Police took over this case and began a new investigation. In July 2012, Leslie Duncan was arrested for tampering with evidence in this case. He pleaded guilty and was given a three-year sentence, which accounted for time already served. In November 2013, Ed Carter and Frank Black were also arrested and charged with the murders. Duncan was charged with two counts of complicity to murder. Black was not a police officer; however, he was convicted of attempted rape in December 1995. The rape occurred just one night after the murders. In that case, he used a knife similar to one used to kill the victims. He also lived close to Oak Grove and was believed to have been a customer at the massage parlor.
    All three men were tried beginning on September 6, 2016. Charges against Leslie Duncan were dismissed mid-trial by directed verdict. The trial concluded on September 14, 2016 with a verdict of not guilty for Ed Carter and Frank Black. Jurors noted that the prosecution was never able to link Carter to Black. Also, no physical evidence directly linked them to the crime scene. Furthermore, DNA evidence found on one of the victims did not match any of the three men. However, prosecutors claimed that the DNA must have come from one of her customers that night. Officially, the murders remain unsolved.

    i'm also thinking that Devin may have had a medical problem due to stress from his job,my Grandfather and Great Uncle were Truckers and they said it's extremely stressful and sometimes scary,Devin possibly had an anyerism and it might have made him lose his memory and act odd,which can happen,as for his skull being found i'm not sure.

    Devin's skull was found.
    Where is the rest of his body?
    Devin was murdered.
    But by whom and why?
    Plus, the skull was found in an area that had already been thoroughly searched.

      Captured. After five years on the run, Jesse James Hollywood was captured in the Brazilian resort community of Saquarema, sixty-two miles from Rio de Janeiro. He was living with his pregnant girlfriend, using the alias Michael Costa Giroux and reportedly was teaching English. Hollywood's associate, Ryan Hoyt was convicted of 1st degree murder and is currently on death row at San Quentin State Prison in California. Jesse Rugge was paroled in 2013 after serving 13 years of his life sentence in Pleasant Valley State Prison for aggravated kidnapping with special circumstances. The third associate involved in the murder Graham Pressley, was released from the California Youth Authority Facility in 2007 after serving 5 years for 2nd degree murder. Skidmore was released after serving 9 years in prison for kidnapping and robbery. Hollywood was convicted of the Markowitz murder. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole when the jury deadlocked during sentencing.

      On July 16, 1978, nine-year-old Kevin Reeder was with his mother Merle in Ovid, New York, when they tossed a bottled message into the land-locked Cayuga Lake asking that the person who found the letter to get in touch with him. For the next few weeks, Kevin constantly checked the mail, hoping for a response. However, it never arrived.
      Kevin grew up and moved to Florida and then Texas. In February of 1996, he returned to Ovid and received a message back from people calling themselves Bruce and Rosa. The couple apparently found his bottle in San Diego, California. The note read: "Hello Kevin, I found your message in a bottle (like that song) at the Beach in San Diego, Calif. I thought it would be funny to write back. Pretty cool!" The couple did not leave a return address or any other identifying information.

      These are the "updated" versions, it seems. They're stories that originally aired with Robert Stack as the host that had some kind of new information come out after the original airing, hence why there are "updates" at the end of each segment with more info than was originally broadcast.

      Right.
      If those cops were acquitted, they're not the killers.

      The victims were prostitutes.

    • @flywheelshyster
      @flywheelshyster 6 лет назад +1

      I feel that they probably knew the guys did it and also knew they didn't have enough physical evidence and only took it court with failed polygraphs most likely as a show that they'll at least try or put it in the record that they at least indicted. Maybe someone talked and they hoped to get others to flip but if no one does and or they recant. It makes the community by simply acknowledging the corruption and violence but of course the law finds them innocent. Tammy should take a civil suit against them, it'd be a win or a case can at least be made

      @Luna EB "Blue Privilege" doesn't exist. You idiots who think everyone who didn't make shitty life decisions have privilege. That's called being responsible. Of course, If you make shitty life decisions, bad things are going to happen to you.

    • @melancolie83
      @melancolie83 4 года назад +5

      TheSP33DFREAK First, countless police coverups to this day have been dismantled. So yes, blue privilege does exist.
      Second, do you mean sex workers deserve to be murdered? Or raped? Abused?
      In my country, prostitution is legal and considered a profession like any other. Not like a « shitty life choice ». And therefore prostitutes are protected against pimps, don’t have to work in the street, clients have a legal obligation to wear protection, and crimes committed against them will be investigated like any other crime. That’s what you should have in the US really. These women would be a lot less vulnerable.
      But anyway, making bad choices doesn’t justify nor allow committing any form of abuse or crime against you. The police and the justice system are there to protect and defend anybody. Not just rich people, people with a clean record, or nuns or whatever. They’re supposed to be there for everybody.
      And you could argue that most murder victims made “shitty choices”, either by walking home on their own at night, or going into that stranger’s car, or staying with their abusive husband or whatever. We all do mistakes, we all make bad choices. In no way does that justify violence. Never.

    • @jamieweatherwalk2752
      @jamieweatherwalk2752 Год назад +1

      @melancolie83 I never got the stigma against prostitution. People have sex everyday. But once someone does it for a profession, whether it's porn or prostitution or being a stripper, they're all of a sudden trash and its taboo. But it's not taboo for people to have sex every night in their homes?

    3:08 Courtney Love's lipstick is fresh, but she apparently just woken up and found Kurt and called 911. Also, it is weird that the press was there in Rome, considering no one in 1994 was hounding grunge musicians in different countries like the paparazzi we have today. Love has an incredible history with calling them on her behalf. Hmm..

    If you've watched a heroine addict they tend to nod after injecting, especially large amounts. If there's other drugs involved that's even more so. I think there's a lot behind Cobains death that needs to be reinvestigated. Things just don't add up. BTW I'm not a drug addict by any means, just been around them for some strange reason.

    The dude killed himself. I could drink and take a combination of 100 pills of all sorts (Vicodin, Oxycontin, Valium, Klonopin, Codeine, etc) without anyone noticing my intoxication. Drug addicts develop a tolerance. It was probably his partner or drug dealer trying to use the credit card.

    How can this be season 1 episode 2 considering season 1 was in the 1980s, and this episode discusses the death of Kurt Cobain in 1994?

    I can see why Kurt Cobain didn't want to be famous anymore! I mean look at the way people have been treating his wife and daughter! This family have had enough shit to deal with, can't people just leave them be?

    I always hate this new updated format of Unsolved Mysteries. I don't really have anything against Dennis Farina as a person, I'm sure he was a nice guy when you got to meet him, but I always thought his narrations sounded way too robotic. Stephen Hawking's voice box emoted way far more.

    A true person who is possessed by demons could actually exorcise themselves of demons if they truly accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and through him the Father God Yahweh will expel those demons immediately. -Ephesians 6:10-18

    nothing worse than a bent cop especially a greedy bastard like him....why was Jesse James Hollywoods dad and uncle not prosecuted for helping him to flee and supplying him with money....When Ryan Hoyt was arrested, Hollywood fled the country into Canada and then went to Brazil with help from his father Jack Hollywood, his godfather Richard Dispenza (who was unaware he was a fugitive at the time), and his girlfriend. Law enforcement agencies and the Markowitz family offered a reward of US$30,000 for information leading to Hollywood's capture, an amount later raised to US$50,000. Hollywood lived on Copacabana Beach where he assumed the identity of "Michael Costa Giroux" and claimed to be a native of Rio de Janeiro, and later on, of Saquarema.
    To blend in, he learned the Portuguese language. He earned money in Brazil by putting up posters advertising a nightclub and later got jobs teaching private English language classes and as a dog walker. Yet the bulk of the money he lived on came from a US$1,200 monthly stipend from his father.
    He developed a relationship with Marcia Reis, and in November 2004 she got pregnant. Hollywood thought her pregnancy would prevent him from being extradited to the United States, as he believed Brazilian law included a provision that protected the father of a native Brazilian from extradition. This had been true, but had changed after the international controversy with Ronnie Biggs. Additionally, since he arrived in the country with a false passport, he was an illegal immigrant, which meant he could be deported regardless of his fathering a child with a native Brazilian.

    None of these stories were new, it’s the same exact cases from the original show with Robert Stack. I liked Farina in movies, but his stint hosting this show was just a cheap, lame rip off of the good shows with Robert Stack. They could’ve at least covered new cases if they wanted to keep the show going, but seems they were too lazy to even do that. Same cases from the original show, lame, & not worth anyone’s time.
