That's ridiculous. First off, the host said terrified. Not her family. No disrespect to Dennis Farina or unsolved mysteries but I've followed that case closely and never heard that. The most I've ever heard is that the ocean itself made her a bit anxious. At any rate, if no one ever did anything because they were a little skittish, nothing would ever get done.

On the last story the very first thing I realized was the gun position in the guys lap was inconsistent with suicide. His arm would have fallen limp and he would have dropped the gun.
Those police investigators in the last story should be fired or put on desk duty. Maybe I've watched too much CSI but it isn't that difficult to follow a basic bullet trajectory. The guy obviously couldn't have shot himself from that angle and still wind up leaning back with the gun in his lap. Plus, that close up there would have been blood all over the wall.
Weird how we havent heard of these shc stories since.
I have those spontaneous combustion stories in my Riplies Believe it or not book. but it only features one that happened back in the 40's and tells about others that have happened s well. I remember the story goes that the person has to have an extremely rare condition with their bodily fluids creating a form of gaseous residue inside their bodies and usually heavy drinking contributes as well and then smoking a cigarette will set it off.
If this was my kid I would use some of that reward money and hire a private investigator to follow that band member who was the last person seen with her. The witness said she saw her walking with him then 10 minutes later he was seen walking alone. Did they do a good enough search of his cabin to look for DNA evidence like maybe a strand of her hair or a nail anything, something? And where is all the surveillance video that should be running on and around the ship? In my opinion I would never give up looking for my child that easy.
Watch the "Vanished" episode on this case. The parents literally spent thousands on a PI. The cruise ship OTOH wouldn't help at all.

Boy, do I remember this spontaneous-combustion story! That magazine editor was the very worst spokesperson for the skeptical point of view, that the debunkers could possibly have: arrogant, unqualified, and incredibly insulting towards the opposing point of view.
I remember seeing the story as a kid, and I was absolutely terrified. I was freaking out because I thought there was a chance I might just catch fire at any second. Now I'm not a believer though.

How come cruise ships aren't well a equipped with cameras? Especially on the decks, throughout the hallways, especially since there's been so many reported coming up missing from cruises. I mean, as much as cruises cost I know cameras are affordable

Seems to me if it were credited to smokers catching fire, then the rest of the home would burn. When I was a little girl, our apartment building caught fire from a smoker in bed. The whole place burned down.

A comment on the last story...I don’t think it’s a question of incompetence, I think they’re inadvertently trying to cover up what really happened to Danny Williams. It rubbed me the wrong way how they found evidence contrary to what the police was saying happened, but they still defended their findings. I feel a really good investigator would be more objective and not insist on their theories alone. It makes them look like they are hiding something.
I’m talking about the police and not the private investigators.

You decide to take the Road to the Left, suddenly you get a Bad Feeling of Danger. (Deja vu) You are sensing what happened to you on the previous Reel. That happens a lot and that is what Creates Alternative Universes.

When Frames of your Film Reel meet and both of you are Occupying the exact same space they cause an Energy Fire. The Energy Fire only affects where you both are and there is not much damage to what's around you.

Human combustion is totally real AND has a cause...just a perfect mix of toxic body, with some factor that combined causes spark. Example, serious alcoholic, maybe with lots of gas from toxins in the body, lights up a cigarette. Body is generally created a mixture similar to kerosene and something sparks, like electrical shock on a carpet...lots of combinations.

what a fucked up justice system does prison time..gets out..gets 10 years and let free again..he should have been locked up and the key thrown away..so will be free in 2020..bet he goes back to robbing banks...a drug bust went wrong and a good cop gets murdered...should have all been executed...for killing a cop....not waste money letting them breathe..The likely explanation for suspected cases of spontaneous human combustion is that there is an external source of ignition-a match, a cigarette, an electrical spark-that sets off the wick effect, but the evidence of it is destroyed by the fire...sometimes the police need to get their heads from up their arses and try thinking out of the box...not go for the simple solution...

There actually were cameras on there. In a few of the footage, you can see amy dancing with that bass player and of her trying to get on an elevator. Footage is actually on youtube. Photos were taken on the cruise of all the guests but amy's photos were conveniently not there🤔
