    How was that lady Margo able to serve her time and then let go?! She escaped on a murder charge!?!?!?

    • @albertjacobson1421
      @albertjacobson1421 4 года назад +5

      She technically didn't murder anyone, was a participant of robberies gone wrong its not like she ainticipated the lawyer to pull the trigger. So she served some time and was released well good for her she managed to get married and have kids. And if she were a true psychotic killer then she wouldn't manage to raise a what it appears to be a decent family. Let it go people and lets not let our hypocrisy blind our good judgement

      dianne Dido yes, 99 years doesn't necessarily mean you serve all 99. Each case is different. With her sentencing she likely had the option of parole after serving some of the time. She may have served 10 years and was given parole.

    I think it's right Margaret Freshwater was eventually released. It's not like she had pulled the trigger - and the 32 years she spent free must have been constantly nerve wracking, always fearing the police at the door, or a hand on her shoulder. She didn't re-offend in that time, so she proved she was not a danger to society.
    In the UK, she would not have served even 10 years - she'd have been out in 5.
    How incredible her kids didn't know their mom was an escaped convict! I wonder if her husband knew? The story is like a more contemporary 'Bonnie & Clyde' - with a happy ending, they should make a movie!

    You know what? I don't blame Margot Freshwater for escaping. She was manipulated by an older man to be an accomplice to his crimes who undoubtedly would have killed her if she tried to get away from him. Then when they're caught, he's off the hook with an insanity plea and she's convicted for a murder she didn't commit and sentenced to 99 goddamn years in prison while the true perpetrator sits in a cushy mental institution? How is that justice? Yes, she wasn't completely innocent regardless of being manipulated and should have been punished, but she was a victim too, and instead of punishing the real criminal they used her as a scapegoat and planned to lock her up for the rest of her life

    The serial killer is a white male between 5'8" and 6'0"; he weighs 170 pounds and was thought to be between thirty-five and forty-years-old (in 1994). He has reddish hair, thin lips, a high forehead, and "lazy" eyelids. He was neatly dressed and clean-cut. He is described as walking around as if in a "trance", like he was "thinking about something else." Based on jeweler's rouge that was found on the bullet casings, it is believed that he knew about caring for weapons. Although he took some money from each of the victims, robbery is not believed to be his motive.
    Herb Baumeister from Westfield, Indiana was suspected of being the killer, but he committed suicide after numerous human bones were discovered on his estate. The bones turned out to be male; Baumeister was alleged to have killed male homosexuals and could not be linked to the murders of the women. However, he did match the description of the killer and dumped several bodies in at least two different states.
    Donald Michael Prince, later Donald Albin Blom, convicted in the murder of Kathlyn "Katie" Elizabeth Poirier and a second unknown victim since has also been named as a suspect in the I-70 killings. He was known to be suffering from throat cancer, which is now in remission, and to have owned a .22 semi automatic similar which was used to killed Patricia Magers and Patricia Smith.

    That Margo Freshwater has some story! How about this headline - "Ohio grandmother who spent 32 years as fugitive freed from jail" www.reuters.com/article/us-crime-freshwater-idUSTRE7A07F820111101 or the headlines about the "Internet's Long Arm of the Law" or the article that BEGINS with " But, just one year in, she scaled a prison wall and escaped. Thirty years, four kids and two husbands later, she was finally recaptured…
    Smiling for the camera, Margo Freshwater looks a gentle, caring grandmother who wouldn’t hurt a fly." (Didn't they say that at the end of the movie Psycho?!) Read more at www.lifedeathprizes.com/real-life-crime/margo-freshwater-glen-nash-69573#fLcYLWYmq52meBdY.99

    just shows how lax and stupid prison guards were then and are still no but why was Margo charged with murder when she was only an accomplice to the guy...she did not pull the trigger...that high roller got himself in so deep with the mob and dodgy dealings and he faked his own death and the body was someone else..meanwhile he is probably living it up somewhere and laughing his head off that he got away with it and a large amount of money and having a lot of fun......were the ghostbusters on the wacky backy....a dodgy boat with a crap life boat...is someone playing a prank phoning them in Spanish....that vile man should be executed for killing the guy cos he lost custody of his children....only in very exceptional circumstances would they do that...they always think they are best with the mother...
