2:26, did you do an evap/charcoal canister delete and that's why you T'd the lines? I'm in the middle of a pair system delete and may do the same thing. Does it smell like raw fuel in your garage? xD
Evan, can you please tell me what's the sprocket number for the superlite aluminum 38 tooth sprocket for the Rotobox's. I went to Sprocket center like you said but I only see the 38 tooth sprocket in Steel. I'm running 520 conversion by the way. Thanks man!
@@EJR-Performance hi i am in my way to wrap the airbox. How it affects performance . Does it worth the hard time. Already had my canister and flapper and pair valve delete. As well i have a built engine . Thx 4 replying. Is there a way to contact u in private . Thx
Your videos are exactly what I've been looking for thanks bro!! I recently bought a 17 zx10r, the white/titanium color scheme which is actually the most uncommon colors what I've seen probably because it's a little on the ugly side but hey....what ever! I may try messaging you on Twitter or face book but of you don't mind answering this, do you recommend a rearset that will give me the lowest possible setting my legs are so cramped it's causing me alot of problems!! I'm 6'2 250lbs and I'm thinking about selling the dam bike if I can't remedy this issue because I'm literally so uncomfortable after 20 or 30 minutes of riding... I love the bike though it's so flipping badass !!
@@EJR-Performance well from my understanding some rearsets apparently go up but not much for going down that's just what I've noticed a few people say... May I ask if you are running an aftermarket set? Either way thanks for replying bro!! Love the bike alot man it's sick !! I really think you are on to something great with these new videos on how to work on it.. be safe riding too man you guys are pushing the envelope all the time.
2016 zx10r just put in my sprint air filter. Heat wrapped the box and all. Put everything back together and bike idles rough, no acceleration, wont go past 6/7 rpm. What did I do? Please help.
@@dreauxmaabsta7251 was the filter the only non cosmetic change? Try putting the stock filter back in. High flow filter can mess with the tuning. Also carefully check around the area of the airbox for connectors that might have gotten knocked loose etc.
@@DoRC put stock filter back, same problem. Went over everything and once again, seems to be in order. I hope it's something simple I'm just new to this.
@@dreauxmaabsta7251 hmm. Yeah if it was good before, started having the problem consistently right after and putting everything back to stock isn't working you probably need to have someone look at it. If you have any mechanic friends they might see something that wouldn't be obvious to you as a noob.
How does a airbox heat wrap affect power ? is there a big number difference? whp?
thanks for that man, could you do one for the front cowl if you don't mind ?
You tape your air boxes up. Do you wrap your exhaust headers? If not, why not?

Yea i deleted the charcoal setup. And no fumes at all are noticable.
Where did you get the seat from it don’t the stock ?

Thanks
Wow now my box can disappear great job
how that air box affect the performance ? only wrap ?
No i modify it. Worth a full 1 second time reduction from 130 to 180 mph from increased ram air

Any adjustable rear set will help. But the small frame 1000s are obviously much better suited for smaller guys.

Take it back apart and figure out what you did wrong?
