I pulled my CCT spring out and it was flattened. No more spring left in it. I stretched it out with 2 needle nose pliers. I reinstalled it and the chain noise stopped after it had a chance to push the tentionor back out. It was free and only cost me some time.
Awesome machine, my favorite shape. I will be putting sprint filter and titanium bits in my first gen during spring tune up. Too bad our riding season here in Canada is considerably shorter :)

Will removing charcoal canister/other emission canister and that flapper throw a check engine light? I have block off plate kit and healtech pair system eliminator plug kit
hi mate I tried taking my nose come of today but struggled. I got side fairings of but couldn't work out the nose cone. do you happen to have a step by step video on how to do this. ? also great job mate

Regarding Cam Chain Adjuster, I KNEW I HEARD that DARN cam chain flapping right after cold start. I'd not put in earplugs, and heard the sound! Bike is completely stock and has 1200 miles, hence I can hear all its sounds. How much of a problem is it? Minor concern? I ride hard, but not race. Wrapping the airbox and tank with heatshield yip I understand and agree. But what I don't agree with is the fact that you removed the rubber lining on top of the enjin cover as that will also help as a heatshield.
Excellent video, bro. I crashed my 2019 ZX-10R and I'll have to replace the air intake duct and solenoid valve. Why did you remove the flapper in the intake duct? I also noticed that you didn't install the vacuum chamber nor the solenoid valve. Are they not needed?

I had a 13 and a 16 zx10r with basically the same mods. Besides the quicker shifter on the '16, they were pretty much the same. Both felt fast as fuck and smoked 99% of other bikes out there
I also know you stick a marble or something in one of the tubes on the left side of the tank to completely block it off and stop back pressure or something. Can't remember 100% because I did it 5 years ago but know that is 1 trick

In the video after this one you said Warren's bike was minus 1 tooth in the rear. On my 2016 ZX10R I'm running +1 in the rear 40 tooth, I don't notice much of a difference in max speed.

You can snip the wires, but yes if you don't have the ECU flashed or the PAIRs buddy then the FI light will come on

Have you ever tried a ceramic thermal coat like Lizard Skin on the airbox? It might not look as nice. But should insult even better.

DaveSpen that air line OPENS the flapper, thus, if you removed your vacuum line, your flapper is always closed. You detuned your Honda. Great job.

going down on rear increases top end.
going up on rear and down on front = more acceleration
going down on rear and up on front = top speed

The cannister wont but the purge valve will. Thats why this is all tuned via woolich. You can turn all the codes off with woolich.
