38 weeks and it's so nice to see that you can have a relaxing, healthy time during the newborn period. Everyone talks about how you never sleep, you'll be miserable, your marriage will be ruined, etc. But that doesn't have to be true!
It's hard when all you hear about parenthood are the scary potential 'what if's' right? Who wants to live in fear? It's not to say those things don't occur- but it's also not everyones experience. I think people need to let others have their own fresh experiences and not push their perspective on others. You don't know what it will be like until you're doing it- and even then- there's always choices / ways to make it work for you. Wishing you well with your birth and postpartum- YOU GOT THIS
For some cuples , kids are one of the reasons of disptings in marriage, one of the reasons you don't have any second for your self as a mom😔 especially when you have 2 or more kids . And nobody understands you, people say ,,you wanred kids, you got kids". This is like a pin in my heart and breaks my heart...we as moms are accused for we born babies 😮💨😔
It is so nice to see a full daily routine with a new born. As someone who does not have kids it helps to understand what new moms are going through. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks :) Everybody is so different too! My best friend had her son two weeks after I had Goldie, and he was a 4/ 5+ times a night waker. Everyone has something going on. I have a lot more compassion for parents that's for sure!
Your environment is very organized.. clean and refreshing.. perfect for a new baby and new parents.. I see even your little dog receives love all the time.. you are both embracing your new baby.. such a wonderful video... I escaped the world for a few minutes.. thank you!!!!
I'm envious at how high functioning you are at only 3 weeks PP! The first 4 months of both my postpartum experiences were an absolute blur of sleep deprivation, anxiety and feeling terrible physically and mentally. I didn't cook, barely cleaned, barely showered, I could only do things for my babies and had nothing left to give to myself or my home or my partner after that. But something about the 4 month mark I always start to feel like myself again and can function like a normal human. Idk why it goes like that for me.
Hey, everybody's hormones/body/ baby/ birth situation/sleep situation/ support etc etc etc is different. Your babies had YOU and that's what they needed
In truth it is like that for most people. Thank you for such an honest post, I am somewhat disturbed by the childless women swooning over such a perfect day. It is a perfect day!! In an alternate universe though, try getting through a day where you've crawled exhausted out of bed after a brutally broken night with your third baby to discover you've bled and leaked everywhere, your screaming baby has poo up to her shoulder blades and the cat has just vomited in the bathroom. I am torn between admiring a lovely mother who is clearly doing wonderfully well and concern over expediting the myth of effortless perfect and guilt free motherhood. Also what store did that husband come from 😄
Every day is different, but this was a pretty average day for us. There's no lack of poo explosions when your baby poops like 6+ times a day lol. I didn't bleed everywhere because I wear the period undies I show in the video. Obviously our day would look different with subsequent children- but that's not our reality :) Motherhood isn't perfect, but no one is setting any standard except the one you set for yourself ya know? I do believe in a guilt free motherhood. I refuse to be guilty for meeting my own needs :) Motherhood doesn't need to come with guilt. Thanks for watching
You two are rocking it. I'm not pregnant but if I'm ever blessed to be I will refer back to your recommendations. Goldie is absolutely precious and her name is such a match! I can't imagine your obsession 🥰
This was one of the most accurate newborn routine I have ever seen! Goldie is adorable 🥰 And I smelled awful too postpartum 🙈 Nobody warned me about that!
I read that the smell helps babies find your armpit area/boob for nursing: but I’m like why does it have to smell like Taco Bell and can’t I just smell strongly like an ice cream shop instead ????? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I do not have babies nor will I ever be able to have my own, and I LOVED watching this. You’ve grown into such a beautiful woman. I’ve been watching you for longer than I remember! You are going to be the best mama ever. Goldie is adorable and a very blessed little one to be in such good care with you and Glen and Lola. I’d like to take a second to acknowledge the enormous effort you put into the description box. That’s hours of research for a new parent to find! 😍
Thank you!! It's so fun to have. Editing it, we couldn't believe how much she's grown and changed since this stage. It's incredible really. Appreciate the comment
I'm so happy that postpartum (and breastfeeding!) went relatively smoothly for you! I had the opposite experience and it's so nice that you didn't have to experience what I did.
Goldie is absolutely adorable! It's great to see you taking care of yourself so you can be at your best to take care of your baby. You and Glenn are doing a great job!
I love how you and your husband are such a team! It doesn't always go like that. You guys are rocking it!😍 Also baby girl is so adorable.👼 Even though the newborn days were very hard for me I miss them. Every moment goes by so fast.⭐
She is/was such a chill baby, we're very lucky. We definitely prioritize being comfortable at home over other things! We don't travel anymore & we just have one vehicle etc as I work from home. You def can't have it all these days lol. Thanks for watching
Totally relate to the post partum BO.. and the constant breathing checking 😂 Lola licking Goldie's ear during her tummy time was so sweet 😍 My little one is 8months tomorrow and I can't believe how quickly it's gone, watching this video has me reminiscing over those early days of having a tiny beautiful new baby 😍
Beautiful video! On one hand you and Glen made this all looks so easy and fun and on the other hand I just fully realized through your video that caring for your newborn is a full time job! You guys are a great team. Thank you for putting all your tips and resources in the info box! 💕
I loved this so much! So many wonderful resources and tips. I also just sobbed my eyes out watching you feed and care so sweetly for your baby girl. Lots of love your way, mama.
What a beautiful day! My girl is 2 1/2 months old and she still wakes multiple times in a night, so it’s great to see Goldie only waking once or twice! She’s such a lovely baby. Our girl only recently became happy or calm while she was awake. Before, if she was awake, she would cry and cry and cry, we could never do tummy time or reading because she was just miserable the whole time. But we are slowly getting into a routine where we notice her wake windows and sleep signals and try to spend as much time during her wake windows playing with her, reading to her and getting her on the floor for tummy time. Goldie is beautiful and I’m so happy for you guys!
That's really tough Ashley, no sleep sucksss! I'm glad to hear you guys are finding a routine that works tho. It's hard sometimes hey - but it's wild how fast things change too. Lots of love to you and congratulations on your sweet girl
Be thankful there are many new mom's out there that don't have this sense of ease and everything at their disposal, I was one of them 22 year's ago, my husband and I had no support and we definitely did not have such a nice place to raise our child in, remember that always.
this video was so peaceful. thank you! i knew i was stressed from the day, but it wasn't until i felt all the tension melting that i realized how tense I was.
Gosh this looks so relaxing! I'm pregnant with number 2 and the postpartum time I had with number 1 was definitely harder than this appears, in many different ways. To actually have time for red light therapy is a real luxury. Great for you that you have that though. And I can't believe she only woke up once in the night!!! My daughter wouldn't sleep unless she was on someone for the first 7 weeks, so we were doing lonely night shifts for that period, until she started to accept being put down for a bit. And then she would want a feed 3 times a night. So it's great to see such a good start to parent life here and that you're enjoying your beautiful daughter, but for anyone else, please don't feel discouraged if your experience doesn't look like this ❤️ Every experience is unique xxx
Thank you for this video! I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I feel so much more relaxed and excited about postpartum life because of you :) I hope I'll be as calm as you two are! :D
Soooo sweet!! I remember these breastfeeding days like they were yesterday. It is DEFINITELY a full time job! I did this almost 10/11 months for both of my kids and while working outside the home full time. Very hard but totally worth it. Goldie is so adorable and so tiny!!! I love it! So so cute and precious. I loved this video
This was so nice to watch. You are incredibly lucky. After giving birth I could not get out of bed for about a month or so. Max was to sit up and eat or take a shower. It’s amazing to see how much you can move around and do during the day. Having 1-2 feeds per night seems to be amazing… good job!
37 weeks for my first baby and this video made me so calm what to come, everybody keeps saying you wont have time for anything🙄but looking at you i feel better
This was so beautifully done! You are so blessed with such an angel baby. My boys were no way this easy. Full of colic and reflux and sleeping issues. I wish my newborn days were like yours. I almost cried a few times watching this just how beautiful your little family is and how precious that baby girl is. I’m so happy for you 💖
I think most newborns aren't like this. I just hope this video doesn't create an unrealistic picture of what life is like with a newborn. My daughter woke up every 45 minutes for a long time and i had trouble breastfeeding which a lot of people do. Shes lucky to have it so easy and hope it lasts for her.
Hey Kirsty! As I know you know, every experience is different. It's impossible (and not at all realistic) for one person to capture a multitude of experiences and showcase them. As it's my channel sharing my life and our experience, people should take it for just that. OUR experience. Some people will resonate with it, some wont :) It's not up to me to represent a reality that isn't mine ya know? Thanks for watching xx
Nearly 24 weeks pregnant and I had a smile on my face this whole video. Made my heart just gush with excitement and longing for my own postpartum period to begin with my husband and little baby girl
You guys are doing well. You make everything go so smoothly . My daughter just gave birth too and I know from first hand .It not easy. Well done guys and on a great job!
My son slept in our bedroom in his snoo for 5 months. When it was time to transition him from our room to his and from snoo to crib, we just followed the snoo’s weaning directions for about a week. Then put him into his own room and crib and had no issues. My son is now 15 months and sleeps from 7:30 p.m to 8:30 a.m every day and still takes 2 (2 hour) naps 🙌🏽
That sounds great ✨💓👌🏼 We waited until about 6M with Goldie 🥰 I tried the weaning feature for a few nights but we found it no different so didn’t continue to bother. She’s been in her crib overnight for the past month and a half and 12 hour sleeps, we’re really lucky!
Very accurate indeed ... But so special I had 4 children All grown now, breastfed all and indeed it’s this way .... I look back and truly those moments were gifts Lovely content 🥰 Thank you
What a wonderful video! Congratulations! Goldie is beautiful! Warms my heart to see you so happy and fulfilled! Lola is such a sweetheart, how precious. I'm sure you will treasure this video always.
Thank you for making this. As an auntie it's helpful to have an inside look on what moms with newborns go through. I don't plan on having kids or marrying. Videos like this are helpful on how to be supportive of moms and their self care. And thank you for your info in the description box. You're gonna make my future pregnancy packages for my friends and family members lit. ❤ I'm definitely going to be coming back to your videos over and over again.
I found your channel when I was looking for info on red light therapy. I’m glad I did! I love your channel and you and your family are so precious. God bless ! ✨♥️
This is very relatable and Goldie is the cutest! After birth I found myself losing a lot of hair and the experience was miserable and I'm sure a lot of people here can relate. Tried a lot of hair supplements and the only one that worked is baby blues hair vitamins, it was a life-changer!
Lol watching this while doing my own tummy time. It’s a disability thing but I find it funny twinning. Love all the parent/baby content, it gives my heart hope for the future. Always makes my day seeing Goldie
I had a great sleeping baby too. For the first month, I had to wake her every 5 hours to feed her until she weighed 10 lbs. My mom’s group hated me. This looks so much like my first month of motherhood 15 years ago. Thanks for the memories and you’re an amazing family. 💜🙏🏼
What an amazing mom, I thought I must comment this, this is first time I watched something like this. You doing great also blessed to have such a great husband. I am too mom for 2 but now they are 22 and 14 years, you know you are such a wonderful woman my dear. I am from Sri Lanka.
You both are so awesome with the baby and each other. My ex-husband was useless with both our kids from birth to adulthood. Keep up with the great team work. All the best to you ❣️👍
Aww...she is so precious! I love that you are doing the newborn care together. I didn't have much help with my three because of my husband's job. I would have loved to do things as a team. You are truly blessed to have that time together.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! It’s so nice to see that perfect world and routine exists ❤😅 I have a different experience. Our baby spits up a lot when laying down, so basically we literally have to carry her on hands all day long taking shifts. She also wakes her up wiggling and making lots of noise in the crib or bassinet, then spits up because of lots of movement; so again we are taking shifts with my husband holding her. Also, she was born too small for any carriers on the market - she is 1.5 months old now, but we still have to hold her in our hands, and cannot use carriers yet. We don’t have any opportunity to do tummy time, cook, clean, or do anything, but changing the diaper - feeding the baby - holding her upright for 2 hours - diaper again - feeding - and this vicious circle goes on and on. Every night we have about 4-5 hours of sleep total, which is great cause first two weeks she was eating every 1.5 hours 🙂 In addition to all of this she had tie tongue surgery and we had to do stretching exercises every 4 hours, so we had to wake up more often then just for feedings. I honestly thought that every family has an experience similar to ours, and all classes and books lie to us about the perfect routine. It’s good to know it’s just us who has to work around some big challenges 🙂
Love this video! I’m becoming a nanny for a newborn soon so I’m just generally curious on the typical routine. I also loved the dog playing in the laundry basket during the video. Children and pets are so good at reminding us to appreciate the little things in life.
This is such a lovely, cozy video 🥰😘 one thing to note - eating one’s placenta isn’t frowned upon because of it being placebo, but because one of its main functions is to store toxins to stop them from getting to baba. So all the bad stuff from your whole pregnancy is stored in there. When you eat your placenta you’re literally eating so many toxins. I hope this doesn’t sound hateful, but my friend who is a doctor told me about it, and I’ve been able to confirm that multiple sources say it’s true. Eating the placenta was something I’d considered and now I won’t be for this reason.
Interesting, I'd love to read more :) From my understanding, the placenta does prevent some toxins from passing through to the fetus but they are not stored in the placenta. Toxins in the body and waste from the fetus are processed by the mother's liver and kidneys for elimination. The general consensus currently seems to be that there is not enough evidence to say whether or not consuming it is good or bad. I whole-heartedly think that more research on human placenta consumption and encapsulation is needed. But given the anecdotal evidence... I wouldn't have changed a thing about my postnatal experience. Thanks for watching & for the comment
I had my son in September. Around January/February I started losing clumps of hair in the shower. I had zero postpartum hair loss with my first... I don't know if it was because of postpartum, having covid, or both. It's been devastating. Recently chopped a ton off... totally need a confidence booster these days.
I didn’t mean to thumbs down this! I took it back but had to tell you. I absolutely love you, your family, and your channel! I’ve began to limit myself as far as social media goes, and only watch/view things that are good for me and make me feel good. And I’m SO HAPPY that your channel is one of them; because I couldn’t imagine not watching! I always look forward to your videos 🥰
This was very comfortable to watch. I learned so much, although i am not pregnant but will probably be a mom one time in the future :) Congrats on your beautiful baby🥰
I am still in my early weeks but watching your videos is so relaxing and inspiring for me, thank you for all the info and sharing such a special time with us
I’m very happy you have an amazing time with your daughter with great support. Mine on the other hand was so so so sad.. stuck home in the heart of pandemic with my colicky baby all by myself in the middle of winter :( plus she wouldn’t sleep anywhere but on me :( remember crying so much to just to go to bathroom.

Oh my I'm 7 months pregnant with my first child and I cannot wait to be a new mom, this made me cry. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I'm so jealous. My 12 month old was / is such a rough baby. I can't imagine that schedule.
Very accurate indeed ... But so special
I had 4 children
All grown now, breastfed all and indeed it’s this way ....
I look back and truly those moments were gifts
Lovely content 🥰
Thank you
What a wonderful video! Congratulations! Goldie is beautiful! Warms my heart to see you so happy and fulfilled! Lola is such a sweetheart, how precious. I'm sure you will treasure this video always.
You have a great routine. Glen is such a helpful Daddy. You guys are such a cute little family. 🥰❤️
I absolutely loved this! My little guy is 17 months but this brought me right back. You captured the chaos in such a peaceful way♥️
Hey, can you help me if you have used children's clothes that you don't want to send to me, my children?
😇😇😇😇
I love your voice over and editing skills 😊
This video gives me lot of energy. .... now I am 39week pregnant. .. love from India 😍😍
Danke
I found your channel when I was looking for info on red light therapy. I’m glad I did! I love your channel and you and your family are so precious. God bless ! ✨♥️
Thank you so much! :)
Beautiful video, brought me back to the time when I had babies at home, now mine are 7 and 11🌸❤️ love the relaxing vibe and routines !!
Such a sweet and informative day in the life! You all are doing great, such a beautiful family❤
It's so relaxing, kind of reduced my postpartum anxiety
This is very relatable and Goldie is the cutest! After birth I found myself losing a lot of hair and the experience was miserable and I'm sure a lot of people here can relate. Tried a lot of hair supplements and the only one that worked is baby blues hair vitamins, it was a life-changer!
Tolle kleine Familie, mit dem süssen Hund und das Baby einfach toll!!!!🤩🤩🤩❤❤Mensch und Tier mein Herz geht auf ❤
We feel very lucky to have a great sleeper - it makes a huge difference for everyone 💕 Thanks for the comment 🥰💕
What an amazing mom, I thought I must comment this, this is first time I watched something like this. You doing great also blessed to have such a great husband. I am too mom for 2 but now they are 22 and 14 years, you know you are such a wonderful woman my dear. I am from Sri Lanka.
Hello Asanthi! That is a very kind thing to comment, thank you. Wishing you well!!
You both are so awesome with the baby and each other. My ex-husband was useless with both our kids from birth to adulthood. Keep up with the great team work. All the best to you ❣️👍
This is so beautiful and strangely so soothing and calming to me
Aww...she is so precious! I love that you are doing the newborn care together. I didn't have much help with my three because of my husband's job. I would have loved to do things as a team. You are truly blessed to have that time together.
Such a beautiful home and space to care for this angel..
This was so beautiful to watch, love you and your family!!
Great vid .. I’m 51 with no kids and enjoyed it! You seem to be chill and doing a great calm job! Keep up the great work xo
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! It’s so nice to see that perfect world and routine exists ❤😅
I have a different experience.
Every night we have about 4-5 hours of sleep total, which is great cause first two weeks she was eating every 1.5 hours 🙂
In addition to all of this she had tie tongue surgery and we had to do stretching exercises every 4 hours, so we had to wake up more often then just for feedings.
I honestly thought that every family has an experience similar to ours, and all classes and books lie to us about the perfect routine. It’s good to know it’s just us who has to work around some big challenges 🙂
Thanks for watching :) Every child, every situation and every experience is totally different hey. Wishing you well
I love the way you narrate. Beautiful video. Wishing you and your family the absolute best! ❤️
Best RUclipsr Award!! Lol thank you for all the links and descriptions below. So helpful

Vous semblez être une super team 👍👍
J'adore la méditation papa/bébé 🤗🤗
Merci Nini!
Thank you for sharing these previous moments with us! It's so nice to see a couple with a similar lifestyle to mine experiencing this!
Love this video! I’m becoming a nanny for a newborn soon so I’m just generally curious on the typical routine. I also loved the dog playing in the laundry basket during the video. Children and pets are so good at reminding us to appreciate the little things in life.
Thank you so much for this. I am due in August. And this video gave me such comfort to take it at a slow pace.
Excited for you!! Wishing you well 💕
This is such a lovely, cozy video 🥰😘 one thing to note - eating one’s placenta isn’t frowned upon because of it being placebo, but because one of its main functions is to store toxins to stop them from getting to baba.
Loved it. So happy with videos like these. Thanks!
I had my son in September. Around January/February I started losing clumps of hair in the shower. I had zero postpartum hair loss with my first... I don't know if it was because of postpartum, having covid, or both. It's been devastating. Recently chopped a ton off... totally need a confidence booster these days.
I started loosing clumps around 4m pp! It's finally slowing down now at 7m and I have insane growback lol
Love how everything flows so well congrats on your baby and sweet dog 🐶🐶
I didn’t mean to thumbs down this! I took it back but had to tell you. I absolutely love you, your family, and your channel! I’ve began to limit myself as far as social media goes, and only watch/view things that are good for me and make me feel good. And I’m SO HAPPY that your channel is one of them; because I couldn’t imagine not watching! I always look forward to your videos 🥰
Thank you so much Katie! I really appreciate that 💕
That red light setup is badass, I'm so jealous. I would love a huge red light in my house like that
Immediately was like damn I need that 😂😂
OMG Lola is just the BEST!! 💝
She is the kindest, sweetest and genuinely most caring little personality. We are so lucky to have her
All perfect. My son and I have everything under control too, even his father is absent.
This was very comfortable to watch. I learned so much, although i am not pregnant but will probably be a mom one time in the future :) Congrats on your beautiful baby🥰
I am still in my early weeks but watching your videos is so relaxing and inspiring for me, thank you for all the info and sharing such a special time with us
Absolutely loved this video! Love to see you both embrace the parent role so well & so glad to know post partum is going smooth for you
I’m very happy you have an amazing time with your daughter with great support. Mine on the other hand was so so so sad.. stuck home in the heart of pandemic with my colicky baby all by myself in the middle of winter :( plus she wouldn’t sleep anywhere but on me :( remember crying so much to just to go to bathroom.
That's really hard Aysun! I hope it's gotten easier

What a chill little girl!😍 Congratulations x
She sure is 💗 A sweet little soul
@@KarissaPukas Mamas really appreciate this, my mother never forgot how much I slept as a baby. She had to wake me up to feed sometimes. I still like to sleep.
Beautiful video! Your family is blessed 🤍
Love the mushroom 🍄 decor in the nursery so cool!
Awwwwww i love this, what a beautiful baby girl and family, thank you for sharing Karissa! My husband and I talk more recently about conceiving and it just looke like the greatest sweetest thing
I read some articles where they explained that the stronger body odor is very natural. It's to make sure for baby to always smell their mom and thus always feel secure
You are both doing an incredible job! What a loving family, and she is a beautiful baby - congrats!
Aww man she has changed so much already!!
