Advice when doing this? For example, does it crack when it dries out and how long does that take?

It is super flexible and does not crack.

How long this edible fabric shelf life?

If kept in a closed container it can last quite long, the colour might fade a bit but the product will last 4-6 months.

What are you dusting over the wafer paper after you brush on the gelatin/glycerin/water mixture? Corn flour/starch or confectioners/powdered sugar?

Just corn starch

I tried this but the picture bleeds and becomes blurry, how do you stop this from happening
