- Are PowerA xbox controllers Really worth it in 2022? For what they usually go for do they really provide a value that outweighs the cons? I just wanted to address some of the questions you guys have mentioned in my comments and so i made a quick little video on my experience with powera controllers, any questions leave them down below!

I have bought a couple of them on the past and I like them because they are really affordable and the back button help a lot. But as you mentioned the drift can be noticeable when using low dead zone and it get hard as it get old.
This is literally the most comment take on all my videos. it's true though, the price is just so hard to beat considering expensive controllers will also develop stick drift at one point!
I have only owned one for 3 weeks and have never dropped it, but am experiencing mayjor defect problems with the left and right analog, which is apparently common for power a controllers. I personally would ignore all the fake reviews and bot comments, save your money and don't make my mistake in buying 3rd party controller. Have a nice day.

I use the paddles to use R3 and L3 as that’s how they get ran down over time
I traded in my Xbox series X controller for a Power A wired controller and the DPad is way better it's soft and glossy. Plus wired is more responsive and 0 lag in my experience. I play Doom and it's perfect.

I've had 2 and they both lasted less than a month. The last one was purchased 11/26. This is 12/5 and the direction analog stick in both controllers have been messing up.

had one for abt a year now and ever since i got it the sticks are like sticking to the shell when it moves like the plastic is too big and i find that Power A does not use 360 directional sticks when slowly moving it u can see your character in the game flick a lil bit
I've bought a couple power A controllers and never liked them they always felt cheap and always malfunction quickly we are talking in a couple weeks it would malfunction and I only use the game sir kaleid flux it's built good and affordable and has hall effect and mechanical buttons so great buttons no stick drift ever for only $50 kaleid flux from game sir look them up you won't be disappointed
Idk if I have to wait a couple minutes or hours for the controller to turn on or there is something wrong with the one I got cuz I got it a couple minutes ago
Hi! would you recommend the spectra infinity or the original core xbox series s/x controller, based on lifespan and quality (additional buttons on the back are not a game changer for me) im having a hard time picking between them. Thank you in advance!
Hi, I am new to gaming. My LT and RT buttons don't work (Aim and Shoot functions in Lost in Random). Might you know the answer to what I can do to check this please?
I had that controller for about 3 months then it just randomly started stick drifting if that does happen I recommend to return it ad get a new one for free if it breaks so keep the recipe
At least yours lasted 3 months my RB button started sticking the very next day after buying a brand new one. They’re pathetic, 3 different Power A controllers all the same exact problems.

yes, for sure worth it! it's always hard to say on how long it will last even if you don't drop it.

i have had my fusion contoller for about 3 years now and i have no stick dirft the only problem i have with it is it makes my mic cut in and out alot
it is the fusion pro 1 controller

I have the Fusion pro 2, and its good. But heavy. Then i found av video showing there is 2 weights totaling around 96g inside, that are easy to take out. Its far better without them. Much less hand fatigue. It also have a 250hz polling rate and lower response times on pc compared to standard xbox controllers. The Elite 2 is wildly inconsistent compared to any I have from xbox one, series x, power a, and the elite 2. Plus they did an update that halved the polling rate when using it wireless with the official adapter for wireless, making it 64hz. 15ms response time, with spikes to 45ms or so. Thats 3 frames. Unacceptable for a 180 dollar controller.
The power A in comparison. Is right under 4ms almost all the time. Standard xbox is 7-8ms, and the elite 2 is the same wired, but 15ms wireless. It does not seem like alot. But average human response time is 200-250ms. So you're losing alot of reaction time just in using a shitty controller. Around 8% give or take.

I was first actually but whatever
So basically i had ordered a POWER A controller last year ( i forgot the mame but its the same purple controller which juan has in the vid ) and the right stick on the roller recieved extremely bad stick drift within 1 month of use , so i had ordered a replacement piece using the warranty which took 6 months to get here but it was only due to the covid issue .. and i have been using that new replacement roller for another 4-5 months and it already has minor drift on the left stick and the headphone jack has totally died and does not work at all . Soo personally i wouldn't wanna spend even 30 bucks on this roller which might only work properly for only a couple months at best .
