love this song, tyler this was the first song he ever wrote a rap for. he performed it on tour and for a Sirius XM radio performance in 2018/2019 and i prefer how his voice sounds in those versions but this song always hits hard.
josh worked at guitar centre with Chris Salih (original drummer) and became friends with tyler through him, josh had been at pilots shows and was friends with tyler for almost a year before chris decided to leave and suggested josh as his replacement and he joined tha band.
Classic song & such a heart felt one. There’s something about this one that just does feel like home. A special one for sure & one that stands out from seeing them live

Personally I can’t stomach too much of this first album because Tyler’s singing voice sounds whiney and annoying to me lol.
They sang this song live on the Takover Tour when SAI first came out-let me tell you, totally different voice (the way he sings now) and it was fantastic lol. 😁
His voice has matured and his control has certainly improved. I think the appeal is his sincerity and raw emotion. I love that first album, but not for the vocal quality.
