- Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor is a 5 blade cartridge shaver. I have used this razor for a long time now and this is personally one of my favourite cartridge shavers. This is an honest non sponsored review of the Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor.

Tried the power blades version 4 weeks ago and they are so much smoother than the Pro Glide power blades. Until now i never realised they had a blade at the back. I will make sure i stock up when the price is good.

Proshield And Proshield Chill Best Razors Ever : Extremely Smooth on the Face, no cuts or razor burns the handle is lite so no pressure on the skin the blades are not aggressive as the proglide or the proglide power blade that have the double orange strips. Lubrification before and after the blades work really well. it really suits sensitive skin. I Would Give it a 5/5 Rating.

Hi there please review philips 6000 with williams lectric shave . They say it gives 52% closer shave than shaving without it

@inetmos Skinguard is the milder one and Proshield gives a closer shave. If you have sensitive skin, skinguard works the best 👌
Hello, by the way, your videos are very informative and detailed. I do have a lot of questions since you really are a reference to me.
1- I do have sensitive skin so I am currently using the Proshield razor with no problem at all. but it is hard to find the Proshield blades for the time being so I'm thinking about migrating to the Proglide Power or Gillette Labs heated razor [which unfortunately does not have the power feature]. Do the 3 of them give the same result if we're talking about "closeness of shaving" "not aggressive" and "extremely clean shave" or do the Proglide power and heated shaves closer and cleaner.
2- Regarding the irritation does the Proglide power acts somehow like the Proshield I believe it's not as aggressive as the fusion but with the power technology and the micro-combs and 1 lubrification could it be smooth enough and is the Gillette labs heated the same as the Proglide power?
3- I saw the videos of the Gillette labs with exfoliating bar and the heated razor. for sure I cannot use the exfoliating bar since the scrub thing really grabs the face and causes irritation.
the Skinguard didn't work well in terms of close shaving so it's already eliminated.
to sum things up I need your advice for a very close shave, not aggressive on the skin, and the best result.
so, which one should I go with:
1- Proshield
2- Proglide.
3- Proglide Power. [of course, better than Proglide for irritation and close shave]
4- Gillette Labs Heated Razor.

So yes, the new Fusion Proglide Power blades (with the orange double strips) are exactly identical to the prosheild in terms of the design and shave quality. So no need to buy a new razor if you don’t want to and can use the prosheild handle no problems. That should do it.
The power handle works the best for me and somehow gives me the closest shave compared to the standard handle.
Stay away from the Gillette Labs Exfoliating bar as you rightly pointed, it isn’t for sensitive skin IMO, but the carts for it work with the heated razor which gives the same perfect close shave as a Pro-glide. It’s equally aggressive as well. So if the prosheild works well, then you will find the Proglide and heated razor both more aggressive. I personally am currently using the heated razor now as winters are kicking in Australia.

@@allydz so I'll have to buy the proglide power handle since I have the proshield with no power the normal one a d the proglide power should do an excellent job for me with no irritation and extremely close and clean shave as you've mentioned in your reply.

@@allydz Just for the sake of the conversation just got the proglide power handle with the razor. The handle of the proglide power including 1 cartridge and 1 battery 🔋 in the box for 26 USD and I made sure that it is the new one with the orange double strips which is a thing that I've learned from you since they had the proglide power model without 2 orange strips which I suppose was the old proglide power model. I’ve been using proshield blades they are far smoother than the proglide blades, more comfortable especially on the power handle 10/10 👍

This isn’t the power version, doesn’t need a battery.
Is it better or Skin guard?
Skinguard is better if u have sensitive skin, this gives a closer shave than the skinguard
I tried Gillette fusion pro shield few times but I felt Gillette skinguard worked best for me along with king c Gillette
