Thanks Andy, yes, there are some familiar names hanging there, which is good to see in print too rather than just on screens, certainly worth a visit if you're up that way.
Due for a look in there soon and this might be worth a visit. Did we see one of yours in there Mr Shenton. What did I say about exhibition quality a few months ago. Well done, your up on the wall with some super images and good photographers there. Keep those super videos coming.
Thanks Peter, there's some hot competition and talent which keeps us all on our toes- the main thing Peter is just keep doing it for the fun and the creative challenge.
Hi Andrew, I have only ever been to Carnforth once, many moons ago when I stayed at a resort just north of the town . Never realized the importance of Carnforth with respect to being a railway hub, or even about the Brief Encounter movie. But at least I got to visit the Ribblehead Viaduct, so all was not lost. It looks like a superb setting to have the photo exhibition. Would love to attend but there is a bloody big ocean in the way. Hope it is a great success. Best wishes, Ian
Thanks Ian, ah I can see the problem, a visit might be out of the question then, check out Brief Encounter if you can - a British classic - but perhaps more for the ladies.
Well Andrew, I am chomping at the bit to get back home. Used to get back at least a couple of times a year but covid has got in the way, so it might be a while yet. Certainly after the exhibit is over. Of course, you could always extend the exhibition by a few months…… 🤣 Cheers, Ian
Splendid - worth a visit!

Great stuff Andrew. There certainly were some impressive photos in that collection 👏🏻
Many thanks Ben, yes, there are some very talented photographers in the PRPC.
The station clock has disappeared 😢😢😢
Yes, I was disappointed to see it wasn’t there, I believe it’s out for repair so hopefully it makes a return.

Thanks, Keith, yes one of mine up there amongst some stunning photography/photographers - its really worth a visit if you get the chance.
Andrew, what train tracking app do you use?
Jonathan
Many thanks Jonathan, the two mains ones are realtimetrains.co.uk and railcam.uk, not apps but using the websites from they two sources.
Hi Andrew, some fantastic images there, 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Many thanks Mark, Phoenix RPC has a great bunch of talented railway photographers.
I'll probably go and have a shufty, as it's only up the road from where I live in Lancaster.
Many thanks, I would, its worth a look as its on your doorstep.
After seeing those fantastic images taken by the Phoenix members, i feel my photography has a long way to go to get near that standard.
